May 17, 2012Having problems with stock browser crashing all the time.. I accidently cleared all cache and lost all my bookmarks.. Is there a way to get them back..

Motorola Xoom :: Edit Bookmarks On 3.1?
Jun 21, 2011I didn it once. I deleted most of the default bookmarks, but now that I have too many and want to delete more bookmarks I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to get back to that edit screen.
It's driving me bonkers.
I don't have my bookmarks synced with Chrome. I'm just trying to delete some dupes that I have in the list. It must be so simple that no one else has had this problem because I can't find anything on the web or even this forum.
Just holding down on the widget just pops up arrows to resize. I can't find anything in the settings of the browser to do it. But I did it before and have no idea what i did.
Motorola Xoom :: Suddenly Chrome Bookmarks Are Not Syncing?
Aug 14, 2011Noticed yesterday that my bookmarks on the Xoom were not syncing any longer. When I looked in Settings/Accounts & Sync, the Chrome portion showed a white life-raft indicator & when I click on it to initiate a sync it always ends with an error - red exclamation point at the bottom of this screen. I do have quite a lot of bookmarks so I wondered if maybe that was the issue so I tried deleting all on the tablet and syncing with a different account that has no bookmarks. Same sync error occurs. Have also tried a FC and 'delete data' for the Browser app from Settings/Applications (multiple times) but it still won't sync with either account.
Just wondering if this is something just happening to me or if there's perhaps an outage at Google that's affecting others' Browser syncing. Anyone have any other suggestions for getting this working again other than doing a factory reset? That's probably the next thing I will try, once I make a list of all my 3rd party applications so I can re-install them later. Incidentally the Xoom is a US WiFi model, non-rooted, with the OTA 3.2 update in place. As far as I know this problem only started a few days ago, well after the 3.2 update.
Motorola Xoom :: FE No Longer Syncs Bookmarks With Chrome?
Mar 12, 2012I have had my bookmarks syncing successfully since I found out that I could do it. Today, all of my bookmarks on my FE disappeared, and the browser refuses to sync to my Google account. I've logged into Chrome and all of my bookmarks are intact. Also, running stock 3.1 not rooted, no tomfoolery has been had with this device.

When I open on my computer the bookmarks are in the document. When I open on my Xoom the bookmarks are gone or I don't know how to access them. I have used Acrobat Reader, ezPDF, OfficeSuite, and Quickoffice but none show the saved bookmarks.

Mar 12, 2012In the process of preparing my Xoom for its return to Motorola for an LTE upgrade, I attempted to backup up "Internal Storage" to two different Windows XP machines. Despite numerous hard resets of the Xoom and numerous restarts of the XP machines, I had numerous problems in successfully copying all files. Despite selecting all folders, less than half would transfer during copy/paste. At least one file name in the "Android" folder was too long for Windows XP, but I didn't have time to find it(them). Moreover, 14gb of files disappeared from my external SD card, as did several folders from the internal SD card. I am an above-average computer user, and have never had this kind of trouble

Jul 5, 2012The bookmarks with ICS appear as tiny, hard-to-read icons with tiny, hard-to-read text on my Razr Maxx. I can't find a way to change the bookmarks from icons to pure text so that they are recognizable and usable. Seems like one of many features that is much worse with ICS than it was with GB. Is there a way to have the bookmarks appear as text-only? As an aside, is it only me, or is ICS a disappointment, with little to offer that makes learning a new OS worth the aggravation?

Dec 7, 2015I've tried four times now to clear the phone cache according to the directions on Motorola's website. Each time I get to the point where I select clear cache, and after running some scripts on the screen, the fallen down android icon flashes randomly and the phone never recovers. I've let it sit for as long as 45 minutes with the icon flashing and eventually had to turn it off and restart the phone.
