Jul 24, 2011I have checked the box to include facebook contacts on my phone so they appear in my contact list. Now one would think that when I tap on the link to their facebook page that's where I would go. However, I am always taken to my own profile, rather than the profile of the person I am clicking on.

Aug 2, 2011I am new to the android community and just got my XPRT a week ago. I downloaded 3 of the free android market apps for the SMS backup, SMS backup +, backup to gmail, etc.I do see a folder created in my gmail but when i click on the actual thread of each SMS message, it only backs up what I sent -- NOT THE ENTIRE THREAD. Has anyone else had this problem and how do I fix it? Or which app works best for the XPRT so that ALL SMS messages are backed up (the ones I receive and the ones I've sent)

Motorola XPRT :: Phone Button Doesn't Work?
Jul 26, 2011Two weeks into using my new XPRT and now the green phone button does nothing, well almost nothing. After a power down and battery remove-replace, the first time I push the phone button the screen blinks, then nothing. Each push thereafter does nothing.If I use the phone dialer app it's the same thing. To make a call I have to either use my Voice Mail which works fine, and use the redial function from voice mail, or use Contacts to make a call. If I want to call a number not in a VM or in my contacts, it can't be done.Android 2.2.2

Feb 23, 2010First let me start by saying that I do know what I am doing I have a 3G which I have unlocked and take regularly with me to France when I come here for work and I just swap the ATT SIM with the SFR SIM and everything works.This time around I took a 3GS, that is from FR Orange that I have JB and unlocked and works with the ATT SIM in the US no problem. Except that when I got here in France this time around (without my 3 G ) I popped the SIM in and I get what you guys see in the screen shot, the network is found but the bars are horizontal so I get no reception at all. The SIM still works if I try it in another phone. I don't know if ATT still works on the phone since their signal is so spotty here and I just get no service with that SIM here -- I really don't see why it would have stopped working either.I have read every thread on what I think are similar issues but nothing works. I cannot redo the j/b unlock from here since the computer that I use to sync with is back home and I would be without all my music for the rest of the journey and my trip back home. Please let me know if someone has ideas.

I know the charger adaptor will be different but as we have an i pad the charger for that will work so thats not a problem. Just wondered if there were any other issues which we should consider.

It was supposed to be an officially unlocked phone (BB 04.11.08) and I verified this by inserting a T-Mobile US sim card - I saw the network name on the screen, so I was positive that i was not screwed up. When I returned to Europe with the phone, I put a T-Mobile Hungary SIM card in it - and it didn't work: Invalid SIM card... Can it be still locked? Is there something like a region lock? If I have not seen the TMO US sim card working, I would be sure that this phone is still locked to AT&T..

Sep 21, 2012I HAVE BOUGHT A MOTORLA XPRT A MONTH AGO AND I ADDED THE 3G MOBILE HOTSPOT TO IT A WEEK LATER. FOR A WEEK MY PHONE WAS DOING FINE AND THEN WHEN I USE THE 3G MOBILE HOTSPOT I KEEP MY PHONE PLUGGED IN AND THE BATTERY SAYS IT IS CHARGING BUT IT IS DOING THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE AND GOING DEAD. MY PHONE KEEPS TURNING OFF IN 4-5 HOURS AND IT IS SAYING IT IS DEAD. AND ALSO MY PHONE GETS HOT AT THE TOP OF THE PHONE, THE BOTTOM OF THE PHONE STAYS COOL.

Jul 23, 2010I have a Orange Blackberry 9700 which I have had unlocked. The phone is unlocked and reads the T-mobile SIM card, however I am having no luck at all with email and data facilities on the Blackberry.I have contacted T-Mobile and they have attemepted to send the service books to me however they are not reaching me. They have been through a whole host of procedures to try and get the problem sorted including doing a security wipe and also restoring the email accounts, I have tried to send the service books to myself through the BIS website as well.
It seems odd that I can not connect to the Blackberry Wireless Network because I my device pin is recognised on the T-Mobile website. I have tried to register the device using Host Routing Table but still no joy.If you have any clue as to why I can not access data services then I would really appreciate some help. I do have my data plan enabled, I know sometimes this can be a reason why people have this problem.

I've unlocked it successfully and can place a roaming AT&T sim card (3G version) into it and it works perfect.The moment I put a Bell sim card into, I get a no sim present error message. Jul 23, 2012I have a completely stock Moto XPRT running 4.1.15.MB612. When I select to check for updates, it says 4.1.110.MB612 is available so I click to download. I'm on wifi so thankfully it's not too slow. The phone reboots, shows the Android guy doing his thing then quickly boots back in to Android before eventually popping up with the error "failed to update". So I lurked the forums and see to hold the @ symbol down when in recovery and do so, here's what pops up.

Motorola XPRT :: Turning On By Itself After Gingerbread?
Nov 8, 2012I have at least 6 XPRT's in my company that users are complaining they turn on by themselves in the middle of the night. This started happening after the Gingerbread update and has happened on phones that I've done a factory reset on. I've had them remove them from the cases to make sure they are pressing on the power button but the problem persists. I've seen some posts from Droid users having had the same problem and one XPRT user on the Sprint forums.
Could it be an app that get's installed. I've confirmed they are shutting them off and not just putting them in "low power" mode.

When my daughter first started up the phone they were there, but then disappeared and are now not showing the FB and Twitter contacts. Based on other similar questions, it appears that this is a reoccuring issue that hopefully Motorola has addressed.
