So i have not been able to send/receive MMS messages, but everything else has worked.ive done my research online and have tried all the tricks (apn app, airplane mode, factory reset, etc), spent over an hour on the phone with Sprint for nothing, then went into the store today.They told me that this is a know issue and an update will be ready July 5.

Is there a way to adjust/add to the auto-correct dictionary for the physical keyboard of the XPRT? On my SOLD BB9650, this was done the first time I picked up the phone. Now, I can't. This phone (while waiting for Gingerbread), would be THE BEST, if it could fix this little problem...

Any chance for 4.x?Because, see, as of today XPRT is lagging behind for like a year on Android updates.It was released (June 6, 2011) with outdated FroYo (released May 20, 2010).Now, if stars align, we'll get GB 2.3.5 update (released July 25, 2011) hopefully in August '12.And that also means that phone that's been out only for a year is already 2 major Android versions behind current one.

I can't seem to get my phone to vibrate. I set to "vibrate when in silent mode", then set to silent mode, but no vibration. I have also set vibration to "alwasy" but still nothing.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have Nokia 5800 since 1 year. It was working fine and battery life time was 2 to 3 days. Before 3 days, I was outside when my phone switched off due to battery run out. After 5 hours arrived my home and plugged in the charger and switched on the phone immediately.I was surprised when I found that the time is 5 hours back, it should be correct in new phones.Any way, since that time when I am trying to call any number, I am getting connection error and No network coverage alarms although I have a strong signal bar and 3G is persists.I had to restart my phone and I could make a call until it stopped again.Also I noticed that the battery is running out after 6 hours only.I tried many things until I solved the connection problem by changing the network mode from Dual to GSM and it worked fine but still the battery life time is around only 6 hours.Actually, I don't know what the problem is. Is it a hardware or software problem? I read many topics that soft and hard reset has no use. I upgraded Firmware to V 30 .0.011 since 7 months without any problem.No I am trying to recalibrate the battery and adjust its pins hopefully it will work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI previously owned a HTC Windows Mobile phone that consistently showed 3G connectivity in certain areas not covered by Verizon. Now, I own the RAZR, and when in the same areas, the phone will not connect at 3G, but only at 1x, which really sucks down the battery, not to mention being totally unusable for any data needs.I realize that LTE/4G is only in the Verizon footprint, but I would expect to still be able to connect at 3G speed when in these non-Verizon locations.

FOR A WEEK MY PHONE WAS DOING FINE AND THEN WHEN I USE THE 3G MOBILE HOTSPOT I KEEP MY PHONE PLUGGED IN AND THE BATTERY SAYS IT IS CHARGING BUT IT IS DOING THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE AND GOING DEAD. View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a completely stock Moto XPRT running 4.1.15.MB612. When I select to check for updates, it says 4.1.110.MB612 is available so I click to download. I'm on wifi so thankfully it's not too slow. The phone reboots, shows the Android guy doing his thing then quickly boots back in to Android before eventually popping up with the error "failed to update". So I lurked the forums and see to hold the @ symbol down when in recovery and do so, here's what pops up.

I have at least 6 XPRT's in my company that users are complaining they turn on by themselves in the middle of the night. This started happening after the Gingerbread update and has happened on phones that I've done a factory reset on. I've had them remove them from the cases to make sure they are pressing on the power button but the problem persists. I've seen some posts from Droid users having had the same problem and one XPRT user on the Sprint forums.
Could it be an app that get's installed. I've confirmed they are shutting them off and not just putting them in "low power" mode.

When my daughter first started up the phone they were there, but then disappeared and are now not showing the FB and Twitter contacts. Based on other similar questions, it appears that this is a reoccuring issue that hopefully Motorola has addressed.

I am however a little dissapointed with the speaker volume of this phone. When playing podcasts in the background while working, I have to have the phone super close to hear it.
