I swear I saw this setting somewhere, but I didn't pay attention to it because I didn't have a docking station at the time. I would like the backlight to stay on while it is charging or in the docking station, but I can't find the settings for it anymore. Where is the setting for this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm at work posting on the bionic so making this short. I let my phone charge over night with oem wall charger i unplug it to go to the gym. Well i usually turn the lights on in my room. This morning i did not as i unplugged the bionic the backlight light up dimly. I let it sit i finally got tired of testing it the backlight stayed on indefinitely. I let it sit 5 min still on i have to push power button to wake and again to lock. So i was wondering if anyone noticed this it can drain battery i sometimes put phone in gym bag after charging without waking phone.

This will not delete data from your device. But after I tried this, the problem is still there. and now while I'm charging the battery, the backlight is on and won't do power saving. It takes very long for the battery to charge.
Is it possible to leave the backlight on while the iphone 4s is charging, and if so, how?

I can't get my Xoom to turn on the backlight. I can see that everything else works, by using reflective light I can see enough to do some simple actions, like changing brightness settings, and accept the shutdown dialog.I have tried anything that I can think off; turning on and off automatic brightness, cold reset, and shutting down and restart.
There doesn't seem to be a hardware error. I managed to get it to work again for a while yesterday, but I haven't been able to repeat that today.
Does anyone have any idea on how to turn the backlight on?
This is yet another problem with my phone after i upgraded to Froyo. With Eclair, when i unlock my screen, the soft key (menu, home, return, search) backlight turns on and stay lit until the screen goes blank. Now once i unlock the screen, the soft keys backlight turns on and within few secs, it turns off, though i still work on the phone. its just like flickering in small intervals.

A backlight is on but you cant see whats going on the phone. the only thing you see is a black screen, but it is ON you can feel the vibration everytime is press the screen, i just cant see the screen. i dont know what to do and im unable to attend a store to fix it

I just updated last week to Gingerbread but this was happening before that. I plug my phone into my factory charger and when I go to unplug it it says it is still charging. Dosent go away until I reboot the phone, any ideas? When it is fully charged the green led even stays lit. Dosent do it all the time just enough to be annoying. I really dont want to trade my phone for a reconditioned one since it is only three weeks old.

The thing is that on this handset the three buttons on the front of the phone (the menu home and back buttons) are not back lit at all and do not flash when i receive a text or email.Have Orange basically given me another dodgy phone or is it something that I can remedy?
View 2 Replies View Relatedever since the 2.3.4. update i found my button hard buttons stay lit when watching videos. they used to time out after a min or two but now never time out. is this normal now and is there a way to shut them off when watching videos at night. it is annoying that they stay lit especially at night. i do not have the dx2 in a doc when watching the videos. just have it on wifi and watching cnet tv and Internet stuff.

I used Navigation for maybe 10 min and it was still at 90% when I got to work. I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem. still have to test to see if its the charging port in the car that i'm using or not. There are TWO drivers and the instructions say, choose the one for your phone! There is no indication which driver would be associated or appropriate for my phone! View 3 Replies View RelatedI often park my Droid X in it Motorola Car Dock when I am on a long drive (2 hours) and usually turn on maps, gps, and bluetooth. Battery indicator top right shows lighting bolt thru battery in upper right of home page every time I look and looking at the cigarette lighter end of the cord, I see the red light on. Starting the trip, I verify I am 100% charge but at the end of the trip, I am not fully charged. why am I dot fully charged if on car battery the full time? If I assume my cable is ok and it is really connected full time to the car source, is it possible the usage current can be more than the charge current thus resulting in a never fully charged phone at the end of the trip? Or is this simply an indicator of a bad or intermittent cable?
