My wife sent a text message to her office in the latter part of January 2012.It is not shown now in her "sent" folder and there was never a response.Our provider, AT&T, says it is not saved anywhere in their domain.Is there any way to retrieved it? Very important.

If I have a text message conversation open and receive a new message from the same contact, the notification icon pops up, I'm properly notified, but then it won't clear without backing out of the conversation to the higher level text messaging section. I have had success a few times with tapping on the new message to clear the notification icon, but not all the time. This was not an issue I noticed with the previous version of Android.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy screen is frozen, I am unable to get into my Droid. I have purchased a new Droid. I need to access my text messages and be able to print them out, for a court order. I have spoken to Motorola Support, up to Level 2. Motorola told me that in order to fix the phone, they "have to perform a Master Reset." I asked if they could put a notification to the Repair Dept. to "not do a Master Reset?" I was again told by Motorola, they "have to do a Master Reset." If a Master Reset is done...I'll lose all my text messages! Which is why I need the phone repaired. I won't be using the phone, in the future. I also agreed to pay the cost for repairs. I can get my phone repaired, or whatever I have to do, so I can retrieve these text messages. The texts are from 1 person, they are locked and their are 379 texts. I NEED THESE TEXTS FOR A COURT CASE...The texts are evidence for myself, the Plaintiff.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI had the Razr Maxx HD for a couple of months without any problems. After updating to JB, I now have a consistent problem with the phone freezing and then rebooting whenever I move out of one of my Wi-Fi APN connections. For example, while at home and connected to my home Wi-Fi, the phone is fine. As soon as I walk outside and leave my Wi-Fi coverage area, the phone will freeze. A few minutes later it will reboot on its own. Same thing at work. When I enter one of my "remembered" Wi-Fi APN coverage areas, the phone will connect OK and work OK through Wi-Fi, but as soon as I leave the area, it freezes. If I disable W-Fi, no more problems.
An exception to this is that recently I stayed several days at a hotel and connected to the hotel's Wi-Fi, and had no problems whatsoever when I left the hotel on numerous occassions.
