Motorola Electrify :: Retrieve Photos Sent By Text Message?
Apr 11, 2012
At the scene of a slight auto accident, someone took photos and sent them to me by text message. I downloaded them and can view them on my phone, but I need to retrieve them and print them. How do I do this? Can't seem to find them anywhere except inside the text message function
i cannot forward any text message. when i hit the menu key...my only options are to call, insert, insert smiley, delete, select multiple and the more button. when i hit that, i only get add subject and set priority
how to I hide the message preview that shows up in the status bar when a text comes in? I have already been to the notifications settings in the factory widget app I'm using and turned off "display notifications in status". However this seems to not show ANY notification in the status bar that there is an unopened text waiting. To clarify, what I'd like is to see that the notification that a text came in, i just don't want the scrolling preview to be seen when it comes in.
My wife sent a text message to her office in the latter part of January 2012.It is not shown now in her "sent" folder and there was never a response. Our provider, AT&T, says it is not saved anywhere in their domain. Is there any way to retrieved it? Very important.
While using the GMail app, there is an option to "select text" in an open message. After the portion of the text is selected, a message comes up stating that the seledted text has been saved to the "clipboard." What, and where, is the clipboard?
I loaded a lot of photos from my computer onto my Electrify. All of them appear in the Gallery. The gallery is too large. Is there any way to remove a photo from the gallery without deleting it completely from the phone?
If I turn on wifi and connect at my home my pictures from facebook, ebay, etc won't load. If I turn off wifi they load fine just much slower than on wifi. I haven't tried to upload pictures, just viewing them.
Is there any way to separate the photos in the gallery into folders? I have them in folders on my SD card but in the gallery it throws them all into one folder. I noticed I can access my folders by using the files app, however, I was hoping to have the option in the gallery as well.
I had a text message that didn't send, no big deal. I ended up deleting the message as it wasn't important. However, a few days later, I get a message not sent notification in my bar. Selecting on it brings up my text messaging app and a box comes up Message Not Available. Clearing the notification does no good, as it just pops back up whenever I access my text messaging.
I have a Motorola Electrify from US Cellular, and am able to get text messages from anyone that is not on the Sprint network. My sprint friends receive texts from me, but when they answer, I do not get them.
Is there a setting that I should check, or have them to check?
I'm probably going to have to take this in to the local US Cellular store to see if they can figure out what is going on. I tried sending texts to three different individuals this morning and all are not going through. Initially I was using Go SMS Pro as my default SMS program. Thinking something may be messed up with that program, I switched my default SMS program to the phone's Text Messaging program. Still cannot send or receive any messages. I am on a business plan (which my wife is on as well). She is receiving and sending texts fine. I tried sending her a test text, and it tells me "Message Not Sent". I had her send a test text to me. It shows that it sends fine on her end, but I never get anything.
Is there any error log I can look at to see what's going on? I have powered my phone off and on 3 times already this morning and that hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to take it in? I hate doing that because they're just going to do a Factory Reset I'm sure since they aren't too good on the technical side of things.
Both laptop and phone see one another but the laptop gives me error message that driver cannot be installed. First query: Can this android phone interface with Win 7 OS via bluetooth? Would a LAN connection be more optimal. If so, can I connect phone to my home LAN?
I have found a problem with the text messaging app. At random times notifications are silent. I have figured out to restart the phone ti fix the problem.
I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.
I accidentally deleted a text msg that I need to get back...are there any free software/utils that will let me read the raw memory card data & get the info back again? phone is a fido motorola razr v3 downloaded bitpm but it doesn't seem to recognize the phone....even though I can see it, as well as copy files back & forth on windows with a USB.
I bought my wife a Blackberry Curve 9300. Very good so far but she cannot download photos that have been sent on a text message, she doesn't use any social network sites nor the internet at the moment only used for messgaes and photos if she can retrieve them. The latest message from her friend had a download now box on the message screen but it will not download anywhere.
Recently all photos I send with text messages appear square. They are cut off at the top. When I view them in my photo stream they are rectangular. I do not use the square option on the camera.
The only way I have been able to fix the problem is to go to the photo I want to use, edit it and crop to a rectangular aperture.
