HTC One M7 :: Multiple Recipients Of SMS When Send Message To Only One Person
Aug 15, 2013I have just got an HTC One and have synced my contact list. It all seemed to work fine except for when I send an SMS to one of my friends it automatically links another friend into the thread. So the message thread will say "Name1 Surname1;Name2 Surname2" but I have only sent the message to one person. What is going on here, I have deleted both contacts and re-entered them manually but it is still doing it.

May 2, 2012I want to delete all emails between 2 dates. For example, from the 1st to the 15th of any month. Because my phone only recieves emails (does not synchronize deletions), I would like to delete groups of emails on occasion.I see the check marks next to the messages. I can select them individually, but I was looking for something along the lines of Shift-Click to select a range of messages.

Feb 12, 2012Is anyone else having any problems sending texts with attachments? I am using Handscent and Go SMS Pro in addition to the standard text program that came with my bionic. For some reason lately, I can't to get an attachment to go through (video or picture) for any of the text programs on the bionic. It runs, and runs, and runs (and uses up battery power) but it never seems to go through most of the time. At other times, it goes through (video) with no problems.

Oct 17, 2011I am unable to send an email with a new attachment via my corporate email. It does not matter if the attachment is 50kb or 1mb. I tried to do the same via GMail and had no issues. If I receive a corporate email with an attachment, I can forward that without any issues. The problem is when I add an attachment to an email. I also tried using Touchdown which had the same issue.
I have tried the following:
checked exchange / activesync settings to verify no restrictions reformatted the sd card, even though attachments were not on there. couple of reboots removing and re-adding the corporate account

Jan 5, 2011When I go to text certain contacts, it puts their number in the To: field mulitple times. For instance, I go to text Joe Shmoe, I click okay and it ends up sending 7 of the same texts out! I have tried deleting field, but it wont let me.

Nov 4, 2012We both have the same unit and service provider. What happened is that I received an email with multiple attachments. The attachments can be seen from MS Outlook 2010 but on my blackberry, the email opens up without any attachments being shown. I had to press the Blackberry button to show more options and select "Get Plain Text" and it will re-render the email and now show the attachments that came with the email. If I had not seen the email on Outlook prior to viewing it on my Blackberry, I would have thought that the email came with no attachment at all.On the otherhand, my colleague experienced the same problem with viewing an email with multiple attachments and he had to select "Get HTML" instead.Any thoughts as to why multiple attachments don't show up and we have to select "Get HTML" or "Get Plain Text" to make it appear?

Jun 16, 2015I emailed myself some p12 certificate and key files and was having a problem installing some of them. I hooked up adb and saw the certificate installer getting an exception because of early end of file. After a bunch of debugging and testing I discovered that the email app seems to truncate binary attachments to a multiple of 3 bytes. So a 1 byte file becomes 0, a 4 byte file becomes 3 bytes, etc...
I'm on Verizon and running 5.0.2.

Sep 16, 2011Anyone having trouble sending mail? I have a POP 3 account with COX San Diego. I can recieve mail but I can NOT send mail. This phone does not have SSL. I tried 587 in the settings along with all of the other info, identical to the other phone ( EVO 4G) and my Outlook setting on my home PC (except for the 587 port) Home pc has 25 there.

Mar 27, 2012My E7 has stopped sending emails with attached files.Emails with attachments sit in outbox and get the "Unable to open while sending" tip when I try to view/edit the email.AFAIK, nothing has changed in terms of my setup as the E7 recieves emails with attachments, sends emails without attachments. I can't seem to find any in depth settings to do with server ports and such within the mail settings anymore.

It had worked before and now it doesnt. After a while it just sends as a text message.

Likewise, when I try to open a photo attachment (as I have done many times in the past), I get this message: "More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found."
None of the information I've found under Support addresses these particular issues.

Jun 16, 2010I just had my phone for over a month and I am having problems sending email. I have contacted sprint via telephone, but they have only caused additional aggravation. Someone from sprint performed a hard reset and could not tell me how to restore my contacts. My fiancé helped me restored my contacts. I can get email, select reply but there is no send option available to send email. It worked a few days ago, but it is not working now. I can send email from my contacts, but not reply to an email I already received. Even when I try to download a document it says, “More request cannot be completed. Service book information not found”. I even tried the service book option I learned on crackberry along with turning it off and on, removing the battery, and deleting my email accounts and adding them again.
