I want to delete all emails between 2 dates. For example, from the 1st to the 15th of any month. Because my phone only recieves emails (does not synchronize deletions), I would like to delete groups of emails on occasion.I see the check marks next to the messages. I can select them individually, but I was looking for something along the lines of Shift-Click to select a range of messages.
View 3 RepliesI'm having a bit of a problem with my email. I've set up a personal account to use IMAP. On my old phone, deleting items from my in box removed them from the server, but that's not happening now (using the default Mail APP). I noticed it was sending them to the trash and so I went into the trash folder, selected all the email and then tapped the "Delete" button. Nope. There were nowhere to be found on the phone, but they were still on the server (as I found out when I got home and connected via my desktop client.)I read a suggestion on a non-Photon specific forum that suggested to make sure the trash folder was set up to be a push synch, so I tried that.ere are my settings for the account:Data Push (not checked, but I've also tried checking this)Fetch schedule: every 15 minutesFolder sync: Trash - background; Inbox - background; deleted (which is an empty folder) - background

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have my own domain and I get POP3 emails the domain-provided-email-address forwarded to my POP3-ISP-provided-email address. These arrive on my N5.
I have the N5's incoming server settings set to "...delete emails from server when I delete emails from the device...". Despite this, emails get downloaded to my N5 again and again even after I have deleted them from both the N5's email inbox (accessed via the "yellow @ card going into a white envelope" icon) and also after I deleted them from theN5's Recycle bin.
I understand that POP3 emails are prone to "re-arrive" like this, but if I can just reduce the frequency that this happens, that would be good.
I should like my BlackBerry to remove my old emails after a set time (which I input) - how do you set this up?

There seems to be an issue with the phone sending out duplicate replies to the same recipient when I reply to their email from the phone. Looking back in the "Sent" folder on my phone I see 4 or 5 copies of the same reply.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I send an email (exchange) from an area with marginal service, the email will get stuck in the outbox.It will not send when I enter an area with "good service." e.g. my house with wifi, or anywhere in town with good 3G.I cannot delete the emails from the outbox. It states "email cannot be openned it is currently being sent."I get errors every minute that says "X" emails cannot be sent. Where X is the number I tried to send while out of service area.The error it says is connection error. I am the exchange server admin, and all the settings are correct. If I go back in and try to re-enter the settings, it doesn't fix it. I am forced to delete and re-enter the account with the same settings. I have had to do this 4 times now (I have had the phone since Sep. 13th). I have 23 other phones currently running on the server, and I personally have had 2 others (HTC Evo Shift and Palm Pre) that did not have this issue.

I end up sending anywhere between 3 and 15 emails. and also get a "message not sent" display at the notifcation bar. Mine seems to hang at night (seemingly about 20min after I plug it in for charging) and stays on yesterdays date and time until somehow it corrects itself the next day. There is no way to "activate it" or make it correct itself. All other clocks and calendars are correct.

The phone reboots itself sometimes when I try to make or receive a phone call (2 or 3 times a day). I know this is happening to other Photon owners and I already tried the factory reset twice.
