I accidentally deleted a large number of pictures from my microSD card through this phone. Those pictures were very, very important to me and I was wondering if there was any way to get them back? One of them is still acting as my wallpaper, which leads me to believe that the files are still in the phone somewhere

View 7 Replies View RelatedEver since the ICS update, my gallery likes to not show the pictures that are on my phone. They were visible pre-ICS, but are now not. If I use a file manager I can see that they are still on my phone and even view them, but they refuse to pop up in my gallery. I have tried the unmounting and mounting of my SD card as I have seen people wiht similar problems do, but have had no success.
Is there a new folder that the pictures need to be moved to to be seen by the gallery app? I'm guessing no because they did occassionally show up after the update, but now won't at all. Still, worth asking.
Does anyone know where the pictures of contacts are stored? I naively thought that I could find them using the gallery app but that is not the case. It would be nice to have some of thoses photos available for reuse.

Facebook messages do not load through Atrix's Motoblur's messaging widget. The updates seem to be fine, though the contact's pictures do not come up. I deleted group messages from my Facebook homepage (not all of them, just the visible ones on the front page) and I also checked my IMEI, but still nothing.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix for probably about a month and a half now. When I first got it, Google images showed up just fine. I noticed yesterday though that when doing a search, they show up fine until you click on one to look at bigger, and it's blurry. On top of that, half the time it shows part of the picture to the left or right of it as well.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo i just updates to the gingerbread 4.5.91 update on my Atrix and now when i go to change a picture from contacts, edit contact, press pic icon... i cant choose what part of the picture i want to use it just uses the whole picture but this way the picture isnt so blurry... if i go to my gallery select a pic, hit the menu button, set as, contact icon i can select what part of the pic i wanna use but then its very blurry... and the original pic is clear as can be..
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy to an Atrix 2. All my contacts are stored on my corporate exchange server. I had no trouble setting up my Atrix 2 for corporate sync, and all my e-mails, calendar appointments, and contacts came down to my phone quickly.
However, none of my contacts have pictures. I have searched the forums and found an article telling me to go to the accounts menu to select which account pictures should come from, but there is no such menu on my phone.
What do I need to do to get contact pictures on my phone ? I administer the phones for my corporation, and this is the only smart phone I have ever encountered that did not show contact pictures (Samsung, HTC, Iphone, etc, etc).

Set storage to SD Card and tried to save some pictures sent via SMS/text and am getting an "error saving attachment"I tired to change storage location to internal but that doesn't work either.The only thing that I can see that may be causing the problem is that the pictures were sent form a friend in Thailand and the file has Thai script characters in the filename.Is this a limitation of the phone/Android OS? Or am I missing a location pointing setting?

I have sort of good connection and i tested uploading pics on facebook and picasa with out any problem, but with gmail it just stays at sending and some times it even don't show that status in gmail client. This morning I have made several calender entries and 10 minutes later they are not there. It may well be me not understanding how to retrieve them. So, when you make a calendar entry do you get a choice where it's filed, i.e. phone memory or "cloud". If it's in the cloud is there a way to retrieve them.

On my old phone, deleting items from my in box removed them from the server, but that's not happening now (using the default Mail APP). I noticed it was sending them to the trash and so I went into the trash folder, selected all the email and then tapped the "Delete" button. Nope.
