Within the past couple weeks, i havent been able to send texts to one person. I'll text them and they don't get my texts until nearly a week later. I've tried soft reset, deleting messages and contact and doing a factory reset.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I've had this phone for almost 3 months now. I'm barely able to text one of the few people that I talk to. Most of the time, they do not receive my texts until a week later, sometimes longer. I used to have the galaxy s5 with sprint and this happened with them too. I now have t-mobile and i have talked to them several times about this. After a lot of persistence, they put in a trouble ticket for me and that corrected it for about a week, then it started up again. Now they closed it and are telling me that it could be sprint's fault. I don't know what could be. I know that at one point I was accidentally blocked by the person, but it seemed to start after I ported my number over to a new carrier. I just want an end to this. I'm tired of contacting t-mobile every week.

I have read a lot about it, so I shut off iMessage on my mac and even disabled my number with iMessage on Apple's site. However, I am still not receiving some texts from iPhones. If they send a text just to me i get it fine (even though they may have to click send as a text message) but I won't be able to get it in a group text. It is frustrating because I can see some texts but not all of them. This has been happening for over a month now.

My iPhone still recognizes these contacts as iPhone(iMessage). Â Everytime I want to text them I have to switch the iMessage option off (or really quickly press the button 'send as an sms'. , but thats no fun or working well whatsoever). Â How can I 'tell' my iphone that these contacts are no longer iPhone users, so don't try to iMessage them? Â

I send a text to my friend and when he replies it comes back as a totally different conversation. There is only one number for that person in my phone and that is the number I use when I text.

Yesterday my messages with my friend disappeared and when I try to text them through selecting new message and literally typing in their number, it will send it to my mother. It's only happening between my friend and my mother. Weirdest thing. I checked their contacts and there is no overlapping information.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I open sent or received picture texts, they appear with a white circle and black triangle as if it were a 'play' button. If I click on the pictures, they open as if they were a video, 'playing' anywhere from 5 - 10 seconds with a play bar below. There's no problem opening or downloading the photos, but it's weird/annoying that pictures are opening this way.

For some reason, this only happens in my city. I was away in London for the weekend and it worked perfectly fine as soon as I left the vicinity of my city. When I got back to my home, it stopped working again. I don't know if this is a coincidence, or if it just doesn't work.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo basically I went away for 4 weeks, came back, switched on my phone and now BOOM it won't call anyone, it won't use 3G or anything or even make texts.
Here's some useful information:
- I'm picking up signal, and can receive texts etc.
- when I try and call someone, it says 'you cannot make outgoing calls while call barring is on' (even though I've checked in settings and it isn't).
- I'm on o2 in the UK
- I've checked my status, and it says 'Mobile Network State' is 'Disconnected'.
- It's running 2.3.3
- I've got the Network Mode on Auto (as it always was when the phone actually worked), and also I haven't been playing around with the APNs or anything like that.
- I bought the phone legit from Carphone warehouse a few months ago, and it worked mostly fine up until I switched it back on yesterday. I'd had a few problems with non-wifi internet before I left last month, but nothing affecting making calls etc.
I have a droid turbo and want to block texts and calls from a specific person, is there a way to do that or an app that will work for sure.
