my wife and i got Photons last wednesday night. we really love the phone but for some reason im not getting most of her text messages and shes not getting my sent text messages. her phone appears to not have this problem. we got our phones at radioshack an d we have 30 days to return them or trade them in. im just not sure what to do. i have my phone set up with all my apps

Whenever someone sends me a text message including a photo, I receive a text from '9000' indicating that the person (phone number only-no name) has sent me a picture message, and prompts me to click on the Sprint picture mail website link to view the photo. Once I click the link, and the site finally opens, the picture is visible. Because the text is sent from 9000, I can't reply to the sender of the message by hitting 'reply,' because I would be replying to 9000. I called Sprint about this MMS issue, and they told me it's because this is a GSM phone. I'm hoping there is some setting or configuration that needs to be adjusted to allow my incoming picture messages to appear properly

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter two or three charges my new (up to date) Lumia 900 stops sending/receiving text messages. The map app also appears black at every zoom level. However LTE signal is fine, I can receive phone calls, and use data to search for near-by restaraunts and overlay results over the black tileless map.There is no visible indication that the phone is no longer sending/receiving txt messages.. other than an angry girlfriend.Once in a while I open up the map app to see if its loading tiles. If not, I reboot the phone and everything returns to normal for a few days, and then problem comes back. It has been this way since I bought the phone three weeks ago.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a motorola photon Q 4GLTE. Used to have the Samsung Moment. On this motorola I can take videos in HD 1080 or HD 720 and 3 other lower settings but none of them will send via text or email. Message says the file is to large and to use the Video MMS setting. I used that setting and the quality of the video is awful and the sound is almost inaudible. but it will send in a text. How can I send or convert my HD videos to mms and send them via text and email? Do I only have the option of the video MMS mode? If so....I would much rather have my samsung moment back. took much better pictures and sent high quality videos. I have searched high and low and went to a sprint repair store and there are no answers to my problem. The store said they are made like that and don't have good quality mms settings. I can't believe this is so. Is there an app or a setting to fix this problem

If you start a message with the touch screen, you get lazy and open the keyboard and finish the message. Close the screen after you click send. 75% of the time you will send a double text message.

I have my phone settings on "vibrate when in silent mode" (which it is in silent mode) and the text message settings in vibrate. When I check "vibrate" in the messaging settings, the phone vibrates, but not when I am actually receiving a text message. I use no apps for text messaging other than the one installed on the phone. Is anyone else having this problem? I have turned the phone off and took the battery out for about 5 minutes, restarted and still nothing!

My girlfriend has called me for the past three days and she says my phone rings and rings and goes to voicemail. I have Sprint Service. I am not using TeleNav or any other navagation, I am just using the GPS mode and Bluetooth is also running. I dont have any other issues with not receiving incoming calls unless its in the dock.

Messaging worked fine when I first got the phone (a few weeks ago), then a couple of days ago, there was a huge delay in getting texts (of a few hours to an entire day), and now, no text messages whatsoever (I know for sure that three separate people have texted me a few times and I've gotten nothing!). I dont' think it's a service issue, as I move around quite a lot and the messages haven't ever arrived (plus, I called my provider and they said everything was fine on their end, but I suppose that's what they always say).
Not sure what the problem is. I haven't made any big changes to the phone since when I received text messages without any problem. Calls/e-mails/updates/apps/etc.still working fine, but curiously, my weather widget stopped updating about a week ago, and still refuses to work, even though my coverage is allegedly fine.Ideas? I have a Droid Bionic, and ever since i got the phone, i randomly do not get text messages from another user with an Iphone on the Verizon network. It may be happening with other phones, but I'm only aware of the Iphone because she lives with me. Anyone else having issues with not being able to receive texts? I get no notification or anything. It's as if they weren't sent, but they went through on the originating phone.

Since I updated the BBM I can not send or receive messages, this update is a disaster, Due to the fact that I'm traveling, I do not have the roaming services and have been using BB services via WIFI and Now I canīt connect to the BBM at all.I need help because I am very upset with this update. Recently, though, it can take up to an hour for my message to be delivered to him and vice versa. check mark will show up but no "d" He said he has service, enough so he can text and say BBM isn't working We have Verizon and both of us have Storm2. i was wondering if there was anything we could do to fix it or if our conversations would just have to take a few hours.

How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

I have a C3-00 and recently it stopped receiving any text messages. Didn't try multimedia messages but I'm not getting any text messages. I am sure I don't have memory issues as there is nothing on the phone now. However message sending is fine. I tried hard and soft reset and also updated software via OVI Suite but still its the same. Also calculator application doesn't open. When I select calculator nothing happens.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.

Its completely stopped sending and receiving messages. Ive tried the battery pull and that worked for a while but now there's a red x beside every message I send. I've also deleted and reinstalled BBM but no luck.

How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
