I am not receiving text messages on my phone. I can send txts and call and receive calls. The SIM appears to receive texts in another phone. I read somewhere that this might be due to memory??? Is there a way to move apps to the SD card? My phone is not fully functioning!
View 2 RepliesI have a C3-00 and recently it stopped receiving any text messages. Didn't try multimedia messages but I'm not getting any text messages. I am sure I don't have memory issues as there is nothing on the phone now. However message sending is fine. I tried hard and soft reset and also updated software via OVI Suite but still its the same. Also calculator application doesn't open. When I select calculator nothing happens.

View 14 Replies View RelatedAfter two or three charges my new (up to date) Lumia 900 stops sending/receiving text messages. The map app also appears black at every zoom level. However LTE signal is fine, I can receive phone calls, and use data to search for near-by restaraunts and overlay results over the black tileless map.There is no visible indication that the phone is no longer sending/receiving txt messages.. other than an angry girlfriend.Once in a while I open up the map app to see if its loading tiles. If not, I reboot the phone and everything returns to normal for a few days, and then problem comes back. It has been this way since I bought the phone three weeks ago.

All the messages are the same "Ppppp" Yesterday they all had a scrolling circle beside them and message details said unable to send sender unknown.I deleted them but they kept coming back at least a dozen of them at at random times. Today they are being sent. By each message there is a envelope with a clock icon. This is happening while the phone is not being used by anyone and is sitting on a table, so its not as if it is being touched by anything in my handbag or pocket.I was using the Handcent App but it was also happening in the installed messaging software. I have uninstalled Handcent and am using the supplied messaging programme. Also getting a lot of force closing messages when I try to send a genuine text.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI successfully updated to the official Vodafone release using SEUS, loving the update so far but I've come across a problem with text messages.
Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal. I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt. Are there any known bugs that sound like this
I cannot send text messages! After pressing 'send', the message doesn't actually go anywhere. It merely states that it is 'sending' it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen checking the online tutorial via AT&T's website it walks me through how to send a text message to someone in my contacts list from the text messaging screen. Once I start typing their name, it should start to automatically come up. When I try to do this on the phone, it won't do it. Do I really have to enter someone's phone number in order to do this? What if I want to add more than one person which is not an easy task either. I found where people are being told to download an app called Handcent SMS which will resolve the multiple people issue but what about accessing my contacts just by starting to type their name in the "To" line?
View 1 Replies View Relatedapart from having no battery in the box when i first got it, i haven't had any major issues with my xperia x10 mini pro as of yet (touch wood!) but having some minor problems.recently, if someone sends me a text message, i would receive it 3 or 4 times, which is pretty irritating. also i've never been able to watch Internet videos (or any videos online for that matter). i have the tubemate app but it doesn't work, and trying to watch a Internet video on the browser doesn't work either.

Since I updated the BBM I can not send or receive messages, this update is a disaster, Due to the fact that I'm traveling, I do not have the roaming services and have been using BB services via WIFI and Now I canīt connect to the BBM at all.I need help because I am very upset with this update. My Blackberry is the CURVE 9300.I have uninstalled the BBM and then re installed it, but it still does not work After reading the comments on this update I realized that everyone is complaining.

Recently, though, it can take up to an hour for my message to be delivered to him and vice versa. check mark will show up but no "d" He said he has service, enough so he can text and say BBM isn't working We have Verizon and both of us have Storm2. i was wondering if there was anything we could do to fix it or if our conversations would just have to take a few hours.
View 1 Replies View RelatedUnder messaging under settings, imessage is on..and it shows my phone number under recieve at....but when i text someone that has a iphone it goes thru as a imessage, when i text my boyfriend who also has iphone..it goes to regular texting...but when he replies back to me it goes imessage but with his apple id. How can i fix it to where only his phone number is imessage? is it his settings on his phone or mine? Under contacts i have to have two of him in my phone one for texting and the other for making a phone call.

My BBM has stopped sending or recieving messages.Whenever I try to send a message, it makes the sending symbol that looks like ))) but then a big red cross like this X comes up. I've tried re-booting about 10 times, and also updating my version of BBM to the newest possible version, but nothing has worked. It's not a connection issue, because my internet, 3G, Facebook, Twitter, Texts and Emails are all working. I've tried connecting my phone to my wifi instead of the 3G I pay for, but with still no luck. Also, my data usage is fully topped up and nothing wrong with my service provider O2.

Its completely stopped sending and receiving messages. Ive tried the battery pull and that worked for a while but now there's a red x beside every message I send. I've also deleted and reinstalled BBM but no luck.

How can I fix this or is it a issue with all blackberrys because this has happened on the both of the blackberry curves that I have used. I use messenger with some of my family from Canada and then it uses my data. If I texted them it is international texting and therefore costs per text.
