Am I the only Droid 2 who is sending double txt messages? And I think it know why its been doing it on the two phones I've used. If you start a message with the touch screen, you get lazy and open the keyboard and finish the message. Close the screen after you click send. 75% of the time you will send a double text message.

View 4 Replies View RelatedOn two occasions now, I've sent a text message to a group using the Verizon message app. The first time, some contacts were in my contact list and others weren't. I entered their numbers putting a space after them. I send the message, and see the following: sent to some.
I then added all numbers to my contact list. The second time I sent a text, I just kept going back to the contact list and adding each person to the text. I sent it out, and again it says: sent to some.Why can I not send a group text?
haven't seen this issue brought up yet but it is being talked about on the verizon community website. have you guys noticed that the droid razr does not recieve or send all text messages. it is very random and does not always happen with the same person or service carrier.

Now whenever I get a text message on hide it pro I receive it twice.
How can I stop this from occurring?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo, I just had to update my phone & I absolutely hate all the changes. For once, when I open up a text message & begin to reply, I always have to hit the letter key twice before it actually appears in the message box. If not, the first letter I type is always left out.
View 2 Replies View Related1) When sending text messages the messages go through but some remain in the outbox. They are actually sent, and not waiting for resend. The only option when selecting them is to delete, which removes them from the conversation threads. It doesn't seem to be related to service, but to whether I am using the phone for any other purpose at the time.
2) When connected to a car BT system, shut off car, BT seems to go into a black hole. You can't reconnect, can't make a call (well, it makes a call, but you can't hear anything; can't play music, etc.). The only solution is reboot. This happens with multiple systems in different brands of auto, so not limited to one brnad.
Recently I have been having a problem with text message that I receive from my employer being cut off. Typically the first portion of the message will be cutt off and replaced with a single number in brackets. This isn't a message size issue, and the messages are not being split, they are simply missing much of the information. I ma using a relatively new Droid X (owned it less than a month). I only have this issue when receiving messages from my employer, no other texts have been affected. My employer does not have this issue with any other employees, only me. There are a number of other employees who have other Droid models and have no problems whatsoever receiving the messages. One co-worker actually forwarded me a message that he received fine on his Droid (Eris?) but I had the problem with. I was able to receive the forwarded copy in full from him. The message server that my employer uses sends out simultaneous messages to as many as 70 people at a time, and I am the only person who has ever had this problem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy screen is frozen, I am unable to get into my Droid. I have purchased a new Droid. I need to access my text messages and be able to print them out, for a court order. I have spoken to Motorola Support, up to Level 2. Motorola told me that in order to fix the phone, they "have to perform a Master Reset." I asked if they could put a notification to the Repair Dept. to "not do a Master Reset?" I was again told by Motorola, they "have to do a Master Reset." If a Master Reset is done...I'll lose all my text messages! Which is why I need the phone repaired. I won't be using the phone, in the future. I also agreed to pay the cost for repairs. I can get my phone repaired, or whatever I have to do, so I can retrieve these text messages. The texts are from 1 person, they are locked and their are 379 texts. I NEED THESE TEXTS FOR A COURT CASE...The texts are evidence for myself, the Plaintiff.

I have my phone settings on "vibrate when in silent mode" (which it is in silent mode) and the text message settings in vibrate. When I check "vibrate" in the messaging settings, the phone vibrates, but not when I am actually receiving a text message. I use no apps for text messaging other than the one installed on the phone. Is anyone else having this problem? I have turned the phone off and took the battery out for about 5 minutes, restarted and still nothing!

All the messages are the same "Ppppp" Yesterday they all had a scrolling circle beside them and message details said unable to send sender unknown.I deleted them but they kept coming back at least a dozen of them at at random times. Today they are being sent. By each message there is a envelope with a clock icon. This is happening while the phone is not being used by anyone and is sitting on a table, so its not as if it is being touched by anything in my handbag or pocket.I was using the Handcent App but it was also happening in the installed messaging software. I have uninstalled Handcent and am using the supplied messaging programme. Also getting a lot of force closing messages when I try to send a genuine text.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI successfully updated to the official Vodafone release using SEUS, loving the update so far but I've come across a problem with text messages.
Every couple of text messages they won't send and instead I get the message cannot be sent error. Trying repeated times has the same results then all of a sudden it will randomly work.
It can't be down to bad signal, last time the error came up I had full 'H' signal. I also tried Handcent to see if using an app would make any difference but it didnt. Are there any known bugs that sound like this
I thought the HTC service pack last week might if fixed it but it didn't.
