Yesterday I was listening to music on my Photon using the Google Play Music app and my phone rebooted twice (only while using this app). I am not sure if it is an issue with Google Play Music app or what. I will post this message with Google and see if they can pinpoint the issue as well. But I wanted to know if any other Photon users were experiencing this as well?

When I'm listen to music on my iphone through my headphones my music randomly stops as if I had pressed pause or took out my headphones. Why is that?

i am using iphone 4S. lately, while im listening to music (app or pandora) using my earphones, Siri randomly pops up. what do i do to stop this from happening?

I don't really know for sure when it started, but probably within the last month or so, my Atrix 4G has started randomly restarting on its own. It doesn't seem to be triggered by anything specific I do with the phone. I'll just look over at my phone because it lights up and sure enough, it's restarting. It does it when I'm using it and when I'm not.

The phone plays the music fine but when I turn on the headset it sais "phone#1 is connected" but no music in the headset.
Wondering if anyone has tested out Music to see if 2.1 fixed the Awful Crackling and popping sounds sometimes heard when listening to music on the Milestone?
View 15 Replies View RelatedThe issue occurs when playing music and you get CPU load. For me this usually occurs within 6 hours after a reboot. Apps that use the network to stream music are more affected. This usually occurs while the screen is off at random times, and is resolved temporarily when you press the power button. However, there appears to be a bug in the OS where simply touching the screen can cause enough CPU load to create this issue, although that bug seems to require the phone being on for a while. Also, if you do/don't, can you post your kernel version? The atrix uses 2.6.32.9-00001

It turns off and back on, I didn't loose any files, but the sim card is blocked and people can't call me then. I have the newest software, use the original charger, battery etc. Phone turns off without any massage, vibration or else, when it turns on I get the default starting screen and the phone asks me for pin and works normally afterwards.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but I tried changing the lock code so I could lock my phone, and right as I entered the default 12345 and then it asked me for a new code, I put in the new code and it restarted. I figured it was just the phone updating itself. Then, the phone began restarting randomly, and sometimes it restarts multiple times before it stays put for an hour or two... Only to start the process all over again.When it restarts, the Nokia logo doesn't have the holding-hands thing. The screen turns white, sometimes the Nokia in blue letters appears, but never the hand-holding.I know some people have had this problem with the E5-00 and I'm wondering what I can do. View 2 Replies View RelatedIve restored it multiple times and have tried everything I can think of. Should I just bring it in to an apple store and get it replaced? I've had this replacement phone a total of 3 days. I recently restored it hoping it would have fixed it because this time i connected it to a computer. but immediately after it restarted. Then less than an hour later I went to check my phone and it was in the recovery state. as far as i now. It wont wake up and i usually spend 15 minutes trying to hard restart it to be able to use my phone again.

I've had the sony ericsson xperia play for a while, with not problems, however for the last weeks or so it has been us randomly restarting throughout the day.
this only happens when I have enabled the data under "mobile networks". I have not got any battery savers/app killers etc. Ive only got the stock apps that came with the phone and a couple of games like fifa 12
I only have the icon for the music player. When i try to open it on the icon it states"Application not installed" My wife just purchased a photon today and her motorola music player version 2.3.4 is installed and up and running perfectly. How can i get this app/version installed properly back on my photon.
View 13 Replies View RelatedIt doesn't seem to matter what musiv player I am using but if I am moving around like walking, Music will speed up and slow down and the player will stop for a while and then start up. I thihk the stopping is happening when the Photon is acquiring data. Is there any way to prioritize the player so it wont stop? Does anyone else have an issue with the player speeding up? It doesn't speed up radically, just enough so that the music pitches up about a halt step. As a musician, this is terribly annoying.

I took a look at files info and they are in m4a format, isn't media link supposed to convert them?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI had the problem of random restarts after lollipop update (exactly afte rsometime i changed to pattern security )and i gave to service center and they told its OS issues and downgraded to 4.4.4. After that i installed all my apps in 4.4.4 (standard apps like banking, skype etc..) and used it for a while. when i tried to use screen lock as "Pin" this rebooting issue starting again? I managed to change it to "Swipe" and did wipe cache partition, and till now (for last 45mins atleast) its running okay.

Is there something for the Motorola phone like that? I have been looking all over. I use my phone while running and want to skip songs sometimes. I am currently using my old 2 gb sd card and want to get a 16 gb card, but can't figure out how to transfer my music files that I downloaded from Amazon MP3 cloud to my phone. It appears they are stored on internal storage, which I suppose is ok for now, but when I get a new card I want to store them on my larger 16 gb card. I can access them by going to settings,storage, audio, then complete action using files, device storage, and then they are listed as amazonmp3.
View 4 Replies View RelatedWhenever I take a look at my battery usage on my Photon, I always see Music and Media rather high in the list. In fact when I checked just now Media was at 12% and Music was at 11%, 3rd and 4th in the list. (The phone's only been on for about 90 minutes.) Since both of these apps suck, I have other apps that I use for photos (QuickPic) and music (MixZing) and don't bother using the built in apps. It's bad enough that I can't remove these apps, but the fact that they're adding extra drain on the battery adds injury to insult. When I inspect the running apps, for Music I found AmgSyncService running which appears to be part of MotoBlur. Searching the web the only thing I was able to find was a similar question posted on the xdaDevelopers forum. I suspect there is a similar process running for photos as well, but it hasn't shown up in my list of running processes.
Other than manually killing the AmgSyncService process everytime I start the phone, is there any way to disable this process to prevent it from starting up?
My husband's Galaxy Edge 6 keeps going to the maintenance boot mode shown in the photo and factory resetting randomly. Verizon can’t seem to solve the issue.
•He's had the phone replaced by twice in the past month,
•10 hours of calls between Verizon and Samsung
•ditched his old Google account in case it was something with his backup
•Replaced his SIM card
•Went to both the Verizon store and to the Samsung center in Best Buy for them to run diagnostics, flash it, etc. They can find nothing wrong with it.
•He’s had numerous factory resets, master resets, etc.
Anyone have a problem with music skipping when playing off the Micro SD card? It's random, which eliminates the possibility of a bad file or corruption during the sync, and seems worse when the 4g function is turned on. Interestingly, the Photon is advertised as having 1GB of RAM, but the most I ever have available is 440MB.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThe Sprint manual says you can download music via Windows Media Player or MML , but once you load your music via Media Player, if you use then Motorola you will end up with two seperate files that will use your memory. From the Media player you will have a file called Music,and from Motorola you will have a file MML Mobile.
