I've had my MotoActv for one week. When it first arrived, it would not turn on, but I assumed this was a battery issue. After charging it for a while, it turned on, and I had no problems. I worked out (walks/jogs) about an hour a day for the past week (no rain, only minimal sweating) and didn't have any problems with it.

View 9 Replies View RelatedHad a 19 mile training run today. The device was set in marathon mode and I was using a bluetooth headset. After mile 17 the battery was at about 20% and the tracking got very weird. The distance measure got really inconsistant and the pace was way off. When I look at the data, the elevation went to 0 and it drew a straight line from that point to the finish. The only thing I can think of was that the GPS receiver was turned off. Has anyone seen this? If this is a setting, how can I turn if off? When I finished the battery was at 10% and music playback was never interupted. I am using software version 1.7.12 N8

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was running GB on my phone since I purchased. Battery life was fine. Used upto a complete day with normal usage and heavy usage lead me to end up around 12 - 15 hours. It is normal. After few day of usage (About 2 weeks) I found battery starts to drain faster. Ok then I gave a factory reset. Oh amazing, I got the battery life back same as when I purchased,After a month I recieved update of ICS. Wow it was fantastic. It gave me the creeps. My normal usage went a day + . after a week I feld the same battery drain issue. What I could guess? guessed it might be a problem of installing more and more apps. Ok from this point onward, I was aware and wanted to check it out. Gave a factory reset again. fueled the battery to its maximum.
Installed any software the I must need. Oh I could not believe. see the screen shot how my normal usage was.. (1 day + 19 H) same devil has came back after a week.Battery started to drain fast. See the screenshot I got now. It shows 50% usage for last 6-7 hours. As to my calculation depends on best usage, it shoule be only 20 to 30 percentage. what's the hell is going on ??
I don't always use the music feature when I run. Is there a way to turn it "off" and not just pause the songs?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

In addition, there is a large empty pane in the top of the screen, which further reduces the amont of visible information. Also, even though I selected Sunday as the beginning of the week, this view does not respect this selection and shows the start of the week on various days.Is there a way to see the whole week in the Week View?

I have a SE X10i with 2.1-update-1. build 2.1.A.0.435 It's synced with a gmail account.
My problem is that week number 1 starts on the 10th of january, and not 3rd. So now, when I write this, it says weeknumber 15, but it is really week 16.
How can I see the whole week with calendar built-in app ? My husband has an ipad and he can see the whole week and the whole year.
