View 9 Replies View RelatedI've had my MotoActv for one week. When it first arrived, it would not turn on, but I assumed this was a battery issue. After charging it for a while, it turned on, and I had no problems. I worked out (walks/jogs) about an hour a day for the past week (no rain, only minimal sweating) and didn't have any problems with it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHad a 19 mile training run today. The device was set in marathon mode and I was using a bluetooth headset. After mile 17 the battery was at about 20% and the tracking got very weird. The distance measure got really inconsistant and the pace was way off. When I look at the data, the elevation went to 0 and it drew a straight line from that point to the finish. The only thing I can think of was that the GPS receiver was turned off. Has anyone seen this? If this is a setting, how can I turn if off? When I finished the battery was at 10% and music playback was never interupted. I am using software version 1.7.12 N8
View 2 Replies View RelatedI already purchased the product and any accessories that that I deem necessary.Seeing the ad for accessories so prominently on the main portal page is at best tacky, and at worst insulting.Create a link at the bottom of the page for "MotoACTV Store" or something, but don't waste such useful screen real estate on trying to push more stuff on us.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

View 11 Replies View RelatedThere's supposedly a new thing in Marshmallow called System UI Tuner that allows you to alter what's in your status bar etc. I've updated to Marshmallow today but I can't get this setting to activate. You supposedly have to hold your finger on the settings cog in the drop down notification menu for a few seconds and then the system ui tuner is supposed to appear as a new menu in the main settings menu (much like developer options appears when you activate that). But it doesn't work. I thought maybe it was just something that was in the early developers versions of Marshmallow and maybe it got shelved in the end, but after doing a Google search I find that it's still supposed to be there and working in the final release.
View 10 Replies View RelatedIs there an App that would allow Torch 9810 to function like an ordinary FM tuner? i.e. Tuning to radio stations without having to use WiFi, EDGE, 3G, etc! I would like to install one in my phone but haven't had any luck so far!
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust got my Nexus 6P from Google UK to replace my HTC One M8 GPE (Been an amazing phone. made better by GPE)
Anyway, I've enabled developer options, but can't for the life of me get System UI tuner to work, the settings symbol just wont spin at all, tried holding it for 2-3 seconds, 5 seconds and 10 seconds.
Also tried this on my HTC One M8 GPE, Nexus 9 and wont work on them either?
Got developer enabled on them all.
I don't have the system UI tuner Enabled although it is supposed to be enabled already... trying to apply it opens up the "Pure Nexus" app instead of enabling it...

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've noticed that the "System UI Tuner" options I select don't necessarily appear in the drop-down quick access functions. For example, the "Invert colors" options is set in the settings but doesn't appear in the drop down (double down-swipe or two-finder down-swipe). Is there something I'm missing with how to activate this? I long-pressed on the settings gear icon and activated the wrench icon next to it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI see that people say they use the MA as a watch. Perhaps it's a problem with my unit, but if I wear the MA as a watch, no Bluetooth, no music etc. I have it timed out at 15 secs (makes a boring watch) and the brightness guite low... it never lasts the whole day before I have to recharge it. Seems a bit pointless having a "watch" that runs out of power before the day is through. If you use the MA simply as a watch (ignoring the silly steps counter which can't be turned off!) how long do you get?

View 11 Replies View RelatedThe unit worked normally for my workout yesterday. This morning I tried to turn it on for my workout, and nothing happens. I plugged it into the computer to see if I had inadvertently killed the battery. The white charging light comes on, but the display doesn't show the battery percentage graphic, and nothing happens when I push the power button. The Motorola charger is at home, so I can't try that until after work.
