BB Bold 9700 :: Are There Any Metronome Or Tuner Apps?
Sep 13, 2010
I saw these kind of apps for the iPhone and I was hoping to find them for the Bold 9700. I play guitar and these apps will help me greatly. Could anyone show me where to go to find these apps?
Please help me, as i downloaded applications using the device manager but can't find them on home or downloads where i keep my downloads. But i found them in the advanced options-->applications-->ad-on.how i can show them again?
just recently i bought a used bb bold 9700 from my frnd. The mobile carrier which he was using was 3 mobile but before selling to me he unlocked the fone. The current operating system is 5.0...i hav not updated it yet.k.coming to the issue i am trying to install watsapp on my fone from my PC but the app is not getting installed...the fone is connected to my PC through bb desktop soft so wen i try to download by from app world website it comes up with this error "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry App World Web plugin. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable and try again."
Do I really need to reserve before it becomes an issue. I have a fair amount of free and paid apps, probably between 15-20. Right now, I am at 86 MB remaining. How low have some of you gotten before you notice any kind of problems? I have an 8GB SD card for pics, music, etc., so plenty of room there.
I'm a little surprised for as advanced as this device is that you only get 256MB of space (much less than that, really) for applications. Kinda reminds me of the problem the Nintendo Wii had, where they had an SD card slot, but you couldn't save and programs on it until they did a firmware update later on.
I'm new to the BlackBerry but had an iPaq years ago with no internet connection. All I had to do was install a new app from my PC to the phone. I can't seem to figure out how to do that on the BB.
I have a Bible software I want to add as well as a couple of games. What is an application loader file?I went to applications/import files and tried to add my Bible software but it rejects it saying "There was an error importing files."
I've been a BB fan for some years. I'm using now a BB Bold 9700 but I've recently experienced enormous performance problems and flaws on my BB, since I've upgraded to OS6. Mainly the issue appears to be on the Application Storage capabilities. It seems that the device only allows 250MB of application storage, being that the OS6 and some BB required software use the majority of it. I've around 8-10 apps which I've been using: Twitter, Facebook, Dropbox. ScoreMobile, GoogleMaps, Accuweather and a few others.
The application storage memory available is already below 2MB even after deleting all the not needed files, applications, language packs, etc. I've experienced that sometimes, when I reboot the system, there is an increase of space available but it keeps reducing after a few days without any further app installations. This problem affects the overall performance of the device. I've experienced three major things:
1. After being for sometime on stand-by, when I want to use the phone, the BB seems to freeze for about 30sec/1min before it reacts on my commands. 2. Very often, I wake up in the morning and the BB simply deleted all the emails in my inbox. IT appears to be a consequence of a low memory situation. 3. Even just using a few apps, I would like to install a bunch of new other stuff. Nevertheless I'm not able to do so as I do not have memory available for it.
Is there anyway to move the apps to the media file storage? How can I stop this?
I try to go onto the app world and it says "We cannot connect you to BlackBerry App World. ensure that your device is connected to the wireless network and try again." I also try to use other apps and things don't load at all. I am on T-Mobile pay as you go but I get free internet.
You know how when you open an application, and just press the hangup / power key, it exits the application from the screen but it still keeps running in the background memory. I have noticed that such applications in the memory can drain the battery real quick. I was wondering if anyway on the phone you can check which applications are currently running in the background memory? If i can find that out, I can just exit all the apps and save my battery life. Let me know if anyone knows a way to do so.
Massive letdown, can't get decent apps, each time I find a good app it tells me my device/carrier does not accept it. Sky mobile looks excellent but my carrier won't accept, any way round this?
Use, themes and apps drain the battery and there are countless threads on why and what.I thought it may be a useful thread if you all posted what theme you used, what apps you have running over and above the standard 5, are you a heavy user and what your hourly battery drain is.Your theme will have a name.Your apps running is revealed by holding down your BB button and the 5 apps we all have running all the time are messages, browser, bbm, phone, and home.Your use is subjective - but let's say no browsing and answering a few bbm, texts and 1-2 calls is light, several hours of browsing, twittering, FBing, and bbming is moderate, and everal hours of calls is heavym. To start I am a moderate user, use precision modifcation theme currently and have remote printer and IM+ running as well as the 5 apps. My drain is 2.1% per hour over night.
Is there way to clear the previously entered values from a textbox in an application ? When I enter any letter, a drop down with previous values comes out.
does anyone know if it is possible to save apps to the memory card, everytime i download a app from app world it automatically saves on the phone memory and that is quickly filling up
I've had my 9700 for about 7 months now and have no idea how to access the App World to see apps I don't see an icon on my BB to do so. Is this something that I have to download?
I keep getting trial apps downloaded to my Bold 9700 and I can't make it stop. Does anyone know how? Thanks PHONE: Bold 9700 OS: V5.0.0.351 (Platform 5.1.0.98 Carrier: Rogers Inc. (Canada) Applications Installed: Poynt ( 1.5.4.12), QuickPull (4.0.2), Google Maps (3.2.1), Color ID (1.1.8), Gmail(2.0.7), Age of Empires 3(1.0.0), Rogers My Account (1.0.0.76), Facebook (1.7.0.22) Memory Free Space: 104.1 MB
In the last week my bold 9700 keeps on displaying memory manager and shows applications I can delete, but won't actually let me delete anything as it's basicall frozen with clock icon ticking away.Strange thing is if I reboot device, and look at available memory it shows 30mb available, but as I watch it ticks its way down to nothing. What could be eating at memory when I'm not doing anything.Device has become basically useless. After this started, I did install new release of OS that was available when connected to my PC hoping that would solve issue.APP world does not display all my installed apps when I go there??
I use a blackberry 9700. Recently, I tried opening my camera but it always says "Camera could not start. Close other applications and try opening again." I've closed all running applications in my phone but the Camera still won't start....
As I download application. The device eventually reboot while installation in progress. After the device restArt, downloading is Already failed, I'll find it on tHe uninstalled folder?
ok i just got my new 9700. how in the world do i move apps from in a folder to the main screen so i do not have to hunt them down everytime i want to use them.
Went to buy a App today thru App World and my PayPal connection came back with try later. Did this about ten times so I ended up buying the App from crackberry site.Anyone else having a PayPal connection problem thru the App World site?
I have just bought a brandnew sim-free BB 9700 off Amazon UK and I have updated the OS to the latest version (v5.0.0.593). I use it with a sim-only O2 Germany pay monthly plan. I have also downloaded Apps World (1.1.0.33), Application Center (5.0.0) and BB Maps (5.0.0) using the Mac Desktop Manager, but they do not appear in the menu. They do appear on the Application list under options. I have rebooted the device as outlined in the BB Online Support instructions (pressing alt/cap/del ///// removing the battery) but there's still no sign of the icons. I have thoroughly looked for them, including sub folders etc, but they do not appear anywhere. Can anyone help?
I have been using 9700 since Early Jan 2010 without any issues but since last 2 weeks the battery is just finishing in 6-10 hours . I have checked all applications/ maps and ensured that they are shut. Is this a battery problem ....
There's supposedly a new thing in Marshmallow called System UI Tuner that allows you to alter what's in your status bar etc. I've updated to Marshmallow today but I can't get this setting to activate. You supposedly have to hold your finger on the settings cog in the drop down notification menu for a few seconds and then the system ui tuner is supposed to appear as a new menu in the main settings menu (much like developer options appears when you activate that). But it doesn't work. I thought maybe it was just something that was in the early developers versions of Marshmallow and maybe it got shelved in the end, but after doing a Google search I find that it's still supposed to be there and working in the final release.
Is there an App that would allow Torch 9810 to function like an ordinary FM tuner? i.e. Tuning to radio stations without having to use WiFi, EDGE, 3G, etc! I would like to install one in my phone but haven't had any luck so far!
Just got my Nexus 6P from Google UK to replace my HTC One M8 GPE (Been an amazing phone. made better by GPE)
Anyway, I've enabled developer options, but can't for the life of me get System UI tuner to work, the settings symbol just wont spin at all, tried holding it for 2-3 seconds, 5 seconds and 10 seconds.
Also tried this on my HTC One M8 GPE, Nexus 9 and wont work on them either?
