So now i only get started, paused, and completed voice notification...and only when pressing the button. I used to have like mid way and when i completed the miles...I have the voice notification on...
View 2 Repliesjust got my motoactv a couple weeks ago and wear it daily and use it in the gym while working out. I actually like the headphones but now im having a problem with the headset not changing tracks while pressing the button. Do i have to initiate a return for the whole motoactv or what? I want to be able to use the headphones as designed, its one of the most useful features.
View 2 Replies View RelatedReceived a new 16GB Motoactv this evening. Completed set up of MotoCast on my MAC. Unit was working fine, GPS / Radio etc.
Then checked for software update, it found 4.56.76, downloaded the sw and started to update. After about 30mins the MAC had a box saying updating, do not disconnect and the screen of the unit seems to be cycling. Initially I'd see the red batwings then an image of the unit and the progress bar underneath. The yellow moves about 1/3 along the bar then stops, after a minute or so the unit seems to power cycle > batwings > and so on....
After about 45 mins I disconnected the unit from the USB/MAC, tried a start + pwr reset but I still only get to this cycling mode (batwings > image + progress bar). Unit was charged for about an hour before I started the initial set up.
Is the website working for others? My recent workout page just shows me a generic description of how motoactv works and says that I've haven't uploaded any data yet...

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince I did the current update I'm no longer getting my Yahoo (which is my primary account) email notifications (I was before the update). If I go in to check email I have messages. My Comcast accounts works fine. Background data is enabled.
Under "email settings" I have "Data Push" selected ( I even tried it with it unselected). I have fetch schedule "every 15 minutes" checked. I did notice that when I go into "Folder Sync" All the folders say "manual". I've also tried several battery pulls. If I go and open the email apps it does download the emails.
I have recently downloaded the new Yahoo mail app and after doing so I no longer receive a notification that I have received an email. I use light flow and it is set up properly for all other notifications.

I only learned of the problem when a friend bragged about the humor in his message to me. I looked but could not find the message. I then left myself a voicemail on my iPhone from a landline, but have not been notified of the new message.Â

View 14 Replies View Relatedlooks like my notifications for Outlook are no longer working. I have a notification sound setup as well as "show in action center" enabled and "show notification banners" checked. This was working previously but a day or so ago I decided to do a hard reset and clean install of everything and after that I haven't been receiving the Outlook notifications. All other notifications that I have setup within the action center are working correctly.
So far I've tried re-syncing the Outlook account, unchecking it to sync and then rechecking, multiple soft resets, unchecking the action center settings for Outlook and nothing has worked.
My N5's notification light no longer appears to work for notifications. I believe it occurred after I switched back from ART to Dalvik.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI install an app on the playstore for remote control of kodi on my htpc computer , after uninstalling it , noticed when I long press and hold my home button It no longer opens up voice search, it opens google now cards page I then have to click on the mic button at the top to perform a voice search.
Is there a way to reset this ? , I uninstalled updates on google app cleared data ect , now when I press and hold my home button I only get these 2 options.
If I select "google" it opens google now page (same way as above)
Looking for a way tog et pack the long press home button and you can instantly start talking to the google voice .

I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm hopping this turn out to be something amazingly simple, something I've accidentally touched or selected. It wasn't on purpose if it was. For some reason, text notifications are no longer appearing on the bottom left corner of my screen. Instead, they are now appearing up on the top right by my battery indicator. This is more than a little inconvenient as it's so much smaller than the bottom left option making it harder to touch correctly. Is there any way I can change it back to the bottom left again?

When I get a voicemail, a simple, white icon (a single line with a small circle at each end) appears in the top left of my screen, where the email & text notification icons also appear. In the past, once I check my voicemails, the icon goes away. But this time it has not. I have checked my voicemail several times and even erased all of my saved voice mails, but the icon will not go away! How can I get rid of it?
