My MA is stuck in the wrist strap. I have taken it out many time before with out much force but this time it is really stuck. Maybe sweat got into it then dried. Not sure.
View 5 RepliesWhile trying to remove the Motoactv from the wrist strap the screen went to some sort of boot screen listing the version and something about plug in with usb cable. I am always careful not to push on the buttons when removing the unit from any of the mounts. It would not respond to anything I did. I even tried plugging it into the computer via usb. Nothing! Finally I just held down all the buttons until it turned off. When I powered it back up everything seemed to work correctly.How did this short happen and how do I get my watch out of the wrist strap?

Its currently showing the following info, HEART RATE MONITOR 33366 ANT+, when i click on the sensor it sats sensor paired but not connected. Am currently wearing the hr strap and its not working. It works right away on my edge 500 if I turn it on, so I know the HR strap works.What can I do... I need the HR data on my runs, if I cant get it working, I have no use for the ACTV?

I went to the Motoactv site and to Amazon to get a Moroactve heart rate strap and they are out of stock. What should I do? Buy a Garman Ant+ HRM strap?Wait for a Motoactv HRM strap Or maybe sometime in the future we might actually be able to get the SF700 again?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just recently upgraded my Motoactv but since then it won't boot.It gets stuck on the pulsing 'M' bit. as anyone else had this issue since upgrading?I've tried holding down 'Start' 'Music' & the 'Power' button, the screen turned off but when booting it up it gets stuck again.I can't re-do the firmware again because my PC wont recognize it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOne of the quirks I seem stuck with is a Firewall Error Message on my home computer. Nothing I do seems to resolve it. Even turning off all the firewall functionality doesn't stop this message (I use Kaspersky Internet Security 2012). I don't have any problems on my office computer (Trend Micro).
According to Kaspersky I have the MOTOACTV components all trusted and as noted even if I turn off the firewall and the entire security suite it still produces this message.
No other application or harware experiences any connection problems. I can work around this but it is one of a handfull of annoying quirks that remain with MOTOACTV.
I am having trouble with my fiancee's Motoactv which I gave to her as a gift this past Christmas. It looks like the backlight is no longer working, and the device is stuck in a black and white mode. She can see the display (without color) when outside in the sunlight, but indoors or at night it is completely unreadable. We've updated the device with the most current firmware, and made sure that it is fully charged, but nothing seems to help.
View 15 Replies View Relatedso I have had my One M8 for a week now and I love it but the one thing I have noticed (coming from an iPhone and being a music fanatic) is that the album art in music player looks like absolute trash. I use iSyncr to take my songs from iTunes and the album art on iTunes is high quality 1000x1000 or above images. Can't understand why the HTC is taking those images and making them look downgraded (colour is off as well).

The pics on my memory card all look clear when i view them..even the ones i take with the camera..but everything i view online seems to be wrong..
Did i mess up its resolution?? Or are my web settings wrong?? View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

Perhaps it's a problem with my unit, but if I wear the MA as a watch, no Bluetooth, no music etc. I have it timed out at 15 secs (makes a boring watch) and the brightness guite low... it never lasts the whole day before I have to recharge it. Seems a bit pointless having a "watch" that runs out of power before the day is through.If you use the MA simply as a watch (ignoring the silly steps counter which can't be turned off!) how long do you get?

I plugged it into the computer to see if I had inadvertently killed the battery. The white charging light comes on, but the display doesn't show the battery percentage graphic, and nothing happens when I push the power button. The Motorola charger is at home, so I can't try that until after work.

I've tried 2 different pc's and get the same thing on both..
my device is 3 weks old ; working fine until today
running with gps and it just stops and restarts a new run or randomly exits the run; this happens multiple times so I have useles tracking of the run wrist band; never wet or humid or heavily perspired on; up to date firmware
After having a ton of syncing problems that never got resolved I now get "Please wait, syncronization in progress..." screen for a long period of time. It will eventually time out.
I have tried uninstall, reinstall, and even a factory reset erasing everything. Nothing works. I have had this issue with the last couple versions of the MOTOACTV app but I am currently on 2.0.52. I emailed support a logcat a while back but never heard anything from it. I love the MOTOACTV, but without the app.
Oh and I am using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.0.4.
So before this last update I think my wifi was always on. When I got back from a run by the time I could get to my laptop the data was already synced. After this update it seems the wifi is off and when I click on wifi settings it says "enabling wifi". How do I turn this off or on so either it always connect to my wifi when in range or stays off until i tell it?
