I would like to know if I can rename the Bike Profile names. I am getting My Mountain Bike8 now and how can I reset to become My Mountain Bike1? I have already deleted/forgot from My Mountain Bike1 to 7.Moreover, from the attached photo which I captured from your website, the names of the Bike Profile seem modifiable. How can I do that?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just tried to do a cycling fitness test in a gym on a standard gym bike bike (lifecycle fitness) but it wouldn't let me start with just a HRM , it gave me a message saying I had to have a Bike Sensor. So is there no way to do a fitness test on a bike without having to spend more money? I do have a road bike, but I'd like the option to do this in a gym without shelling out more.i can see theres "stationary bike" profile, but this doesn't have the option for a fitness test.(BTW - I also tried a quick start indoors cycling workout and got the same message (connect a bike sensor to start an indoor ride)
View 8 Replies View Relatedhow to easily switch bike profiles? I have two bike profiles set up, and when I start a workout I would like to be able to select the bike profile for the bike I am riding. I can't select the bike when designing a workout in the portal, and the only way to change the bike on the device is to change the default bike in the settings prior to starting the workout. Seems like it would be simple to just tap the bike profile and switch to a different bike before you hit the start workout button.

It's recording all other info without difficulty. I've only used it about 3 times but always get a 0/0 when it comes to the power/watts reading.

why cant you rename bikes inside a specific category? i dont like all my bikes being mountain bike 1, 2 etc

It would be much more helpful to be able to see the list with the names on. Are there any plans for this?

The song title and album artwork appear just fine, but a lot of my music just shows up as Unkown Artist. It is also showing up on my motoactv.com page as Unkown. I sync my playlists from iTunes. My shuffle can read me the name of the artist for the same songs, and they show up correctly on my iPod touch, and in iTunes. Does anyone else have this problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a plan to incorporate support for the ANT+ Fitness Equipment Device profile? Seems that this is the only fitness related profile that is missing from the MOTOACTV. I would love to be able to use this device primarily with the Concept2 Indoor Rowing machine (as well as some Spin bikes at the gym). The Concept2 monitor software supports the FE profile and it would be nice to be able to pair the MOTOACTV to track the many meters that I'll be rowing this winter indoors. In addition... just a future thought... the accelerometer would open up the possibility of using this device as a stroke coach for on-water rowing (i.e. stroke cadence)! Nothing wearable exists like this on the market for us rowers...we have to log our workouts manually and don't have a means to retain detailed metrics such as power graph over time etc.

I've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

The address resolution can fall to a Range of addresses and blocks out the ability to use it im 1/2 mile increments at our work location. My phone appears to be accurate on gmaps to within 20 feet of my actual location. When I go to add the additional locations they all try to use the same app provided name. they are anywhere fromm 300 yards to one mile apart. Why can't it use a user defined name to stop the conflict? I have business uses for this if it is possilble. Like security guard tracking. The application finds the locations using GPS coordinates in place of addresses correctly but then converts to a street address thats not correct for a name...

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got my Droid X back in December and the Facebook pictures for each contact haven't updated once since I got the phone. I've tried telling it to sync, but the pictures remain the same. Also, with some of my contacts it lists their Twitter name as their name, even if I type in a new name. Is there some way to set a default name? When I'm searching for someone to call/text, I don't normally think of them by their Twitter name, so it can make some people difficult to find. Other people come up by the names I set them to. Not sure what I did differently there.
