Under Planning > Routing, the description mentions "hit 'Search routes' and see where other members of the MOTOACTV community in your area like to go". I cannot see the Search Routes option, and using the search box under the My Routes tab does not bring back any results, even my own routes I have saved.

View 3 Replies View RelatedCurrently if I try to edit a route that I have saved, it erases all GPS coordinates except for the start/finish points. For example, if I want to add a description or change the name of the route, it erase all data and re-creates my map with a straight line from point a to point b.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy units are set in metric. Everything seems fine when I look at my workout. But if I look at the public version of the workout, I see the values for the metric units but with american units instead.So 5.74km becomes 5.74mi and 5 min/km becomes 5 min/mi.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again.In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!

View 10 Replies View RelatedI've successfully connected to a public hotspot (hotel, MacDonalds, Panera) of the type that redirects you to an "agree to our terms" screen before you can use their internet connection. The first time I use the connection it works fine. The next time I try to use the connection, the connection either goes to "remembered" but never connects, or it connects but the browser won't redirect to the "agree" screen, so I can't actually use the connection.

That's an issue I stumble upon everytime I want to use a standalone application like Hotmail on my handset. I presume that the communication from my handset to Motorola servers are encrypted, but I have no documentation about it.
I wonder if my mail account is directed in a similar manner, from my handset to Motorola server when I send a SMTP message from an account registered within Blur.
How does it work. I would like to know. Is there any white paper from Motorola somewhere available to the consumer.
As the title says, I don't like suggesting things like this because most of the time they're "snake oil". But, I tried the freebie version first to see if it made any difference. It did. I normally get a minimum of 8 hours of mid-level usage on my phone. J.D. has increased that by at least a couple of hours and doesn't seem to be having any of the goofiness associated with task killers.

Is there a way to make the default calendar event setting "public?"

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

I've created the same route using different ways of creating the route, and the created route is different every time. If I create the route in Maps using the search facility, the route is different if I use an address via the people and contacts interface. And again it is different when using Drive.
I made the discovery when a suggested route made a 16.2 km de-tour on a 11 km stretch. More than a 100%. I'm now wondering if I dare to use NOKIA maps for my summer trip to Italy from Denmark.

Pulled the battery on my phone today and now Browser does not have the options to seach via a search engine. Its just an address bar. Ex. If I type yahoo, it will just go to [URL] It used to show the search engines I could use. Also, in the options it would let me choose my default before, now there is nothing in the options about search engines.
