Is there anything, i can do to just enter a password, just like a computer, this could be so much easier!
it is possible to transfer your music library from a 1st gen Ipod touch to your itunes library on a Mac book pro. I have alomost 3000 songs as well as playlists on my Ipod and cant find anyway to transfer theses to my itunes library, meaning i can't add them to my 4s.

My password seems to get taken and from the wifi screen it looks to be connected initially but then keeps trying to connect but never actually does.

Normally, a pop-up opens automaticly with the commercial page where I need to click to connect. In fact, this pop-up is appearing but it stays white ... The only way it worked for connecting to wifi is when I turn off the 3G but there is surely a solution !

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've successfully connected to a public hotspot (hotel, MacDonalds, Panera) of the type that redirects you to an "agree to our terms" screen before you can use their internet connection. The first time I use the connection it works fine. The next time I try to use the connection, the connection either goes to "remembered" but never connects, or it connects but the browser won't redirect to the "agree" screen, so I can't actually use the connection.

It would find the wifi of the hotel to connect to, I would press connect, and then it would take me to a supposed webpage to "log in" for free but that webpage would NEVER load! That's an issue I stumble upon everytime I want to use a standalone application like Hotmail on my handset. I presume that the communication from my handset to Motorola servers are encrypted, but I have no documentation about it.
I wonder if my mail account is directed in a similar manner, from my handset to Motorola server when I send a SMTP message from an account registered within Blur.
How does it work. I would like to know. Is there any white paper from Motorola somewhere available to the consumer.
As the title says, I don't like suggesting things like this because most of the time they're "snake oil". But, I tried the freebie version first to see if it made any difference. It did. I normally get a minimum of 8 hours of mid-level usage on my phone. J.D. has increased that by at least a couple of hours and doesn't seem to be having any of the goofiness associated with task killers.

Public transport is useless unless you are traveling to those cities - it should be optional to load as are the maps.When I check via Nokia Suite on my PC I can see those apps listed as installed (see pics.). But I CAN NOT see ANY of those in Settings -> Installations -> Already Installed. Is there any other way to remove besides from resetting the phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter updating my 3 gs from 3.0.1 to 4.0 with pwnagetool I have noticed these issues and would appreciate any help:
- the wifi auto-login for public Wifis is not working (safari is not started automatically). Manually starting it will rarely open he wifi login page. It either uses 3G or says no Internet connection.
- cannot install certificates or settings through safari. It will show a page with the filename and size, but will not install. Nothing is clickable.
- the AT&T carrier logo is missing. It reappers after installing ultrasn0w. Toggling US off and it disappears again.
I reinstalled Ios4 twice and the problems are still there. Can it be old carrier profiles or other settings from my backup? I did reset network and removed all old profiles (after install of ios 4).
I have a BB Curve 8900 & am having difficulty transferring my full iTunes library to my BB device. For some reason it only tranfers around 50 of my total 300. It now seems to accept all the latest purchases from iTunes but not the older/historic ones.I have tried this using the Blackberry Desk Top Manager synching. Can anyone help here to enable me to transfer my full library across.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWe have purchased SSL Certificates from verisign to do 802.1x authentication. However when attempting to connect I still receive the "Not Trusted" Certificate message. In testing I have e-mailed all of the seperate certs to myself to see for sure which one in the chain is not trusted. I find that the Root Certificate "Verisign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority - G5" dated 11/7/2006 to 7/16/2036 is the one that mis matches the one in on my phone. I read that the key for the cert http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5012 doesnt match the one directly from Verisign therefore verisign cert isnt trusted.

I would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again.In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!

On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:
