I have a SF600 and I am not sure if all the features are working as advertised by Motorola. I can listen to music which sounds great! I can answer a call. BUT I can't make a call or hear text messages as Motorola says in the advertising and right on the SF600 box.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have tried several times to setup my Samsung Droid Charge and get it to connect to MOTOACTV. Every time I have run the smartphone setup and run MOTOACTVon my phone, I select the motoactv on through the app and it says to pair. The pairing codes on the phone and the device match and I select the "pair" option on motoactv and the "allow" option on the phone. The message stating to allow bluetooth pairing remains on the screen and I am not allowed to go through any further options. Finally this evening it let me through the options to allow calls, etc

View 3 Replies View RelatedI can only periodically make calls normally by placing call and then putting phone up to my head and listening to phone ring, and person answer.For whatever reason then the phone will behave erattically. It will only let me make a call using speakerphone.I cannot put phone up to my head and listen through earpiece, and the phone doesn't black out when putting up to my head.I guess the proximity sensor doesn't work or is buggy.Also, sometimes when I double tap on the Home button/key to start voice dialing I should be able to hear the phone ask me what I want to do, but I can't hear anything but I can see on the screen that It is asking me a question - but can't hear anything as I normally should.Then, a few hours later it all works beautifully.I have rebooted the phone, taken out the battery and put it back in, hard reset the phone.I even have just now taken my screen protector off and the phone worked for a few calls as it normally should - i put phone up to my ear and screen blacked out and I could hear other person on earpiece.Then about an hour later none of that worked.I could only use the speaker phone.the phone didn't black out when making a call and putting phone up to my ear, and the double tap home button/key invoked the voice dial interface but i couldn't hear the voice/phone prompt like normal. and confirmation of my commands
The level 2 tech support at moto didn't help with any more troubleshooting than what I have already done.Which is: restart phone...reset phone to factory settings (hard reset) wipe all data off phone...taken off screen protector...none of this worked and produced consistent results to say that any of these procedures produced a positive change in the phone.I am within my 30 day trial period of this phone purchased from Motorola.
I just received a new Atrix 2. When I make a call or answer one nobody can hear me!. The phone seems to be muted.If then I turn on the speaker, people start to hear me! What may be happening?

For instance, if you get a voicemail and you tap on the icon the standard active call screen opens, but you then need to touch an icon to open up the dialer pad so you can interact with the voicemail system. Is there any setting that allows the dialer pad to open automatically when a call is made? Would be really great if this feature could be selective for certain numbers such as voicemail.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI would like to report a bug with regards to saving/making a route public.I go into Planning, then Routing, and I have several routes saved from previous workouts. As per below, I click on the "Public Route" check box, and then Save. I just get booted to a generic screen/map with the "Create New Route" button.Regardless of whether I click on save or not, if I reselect the route on the left, then it the "Public Route" check box is cleared again.In addition on the screenshot below, why does it say "2525 Hemlock St, Vancouver, BC V6H, Canada | 0.06 km". This route was clearly 25k. Strange/weird thing also is if i click on "Edit Route", (Hey anthing's worth a try....) and then Save, it actually turns my route (ie destroys my route) into .06 km. This is exactly what happened to the bottom route on the left list; it used to be 25k until I 'saved' it. Oh well, at least I can go into my recent workouts and resave the route and try again!
View 2 Replies View RelatedI received a new bluetooth for Christmas to go with my Defy with Motoblur (a canadian phone) and the Voice Dialler sucks plus the bluetooth instructions are just as bad.It say to refer to your phone's usual manual.So, I would like to know how I can make a call from my bluetooth handsfree using the phone.Based on an older phone I could add a voice tag to each contact and then use that on the bluetooth.This phone doesn't seem to have that option.(It all seems to work fine if I am dialling directly from the phone once the ringing starts.But this is all pointeless as far as I am concerned. How can you be handsfree when your hands are required?)
The phone is running on the Android version 1.5 since Motorola didn't come out with an update on my phone and getting a new one isn't an option.Maybe there is an app in the market place that might work. (I can't even use Google Play because the phone version was not updated)
OK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

View 10 Replies View RelatedHave a Atrix HD, about 6 months old. Today I went to make a call using a headset plugged into the headset jack, and nothing happened. The headset was not recgonized and all sound continued to come out the 'speaker'. (Either in "loud" speaker mode, or normal mode.) Tried another headset, same problem. Researched and went through the "check for debris and clean the jack" process with no improvement. Contacted Motorola support and they ended up offering to have it shipped to service center for repair/replace, but that means 7+ days without the phone. So I thought I'd check and see if anyone else has had such a problem.
Anyone else ever have headset jack "failure" like this on an Atrix unit? Oh, it also fails with a music player, or any other sound source, so it appears to be a general unit failure, not specific to any one app/function. I looked all over for some kind of setting to enable/disable the jack, but found nothing of use.
Ideally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
Clean boot (restart), the proximity sensor works fine (when on call it turns screen off, when moved away from face screen on). As soon as I make or receive call via bluetooth (Motorola brand btw.) The proximity sensor stops working. When on call it will not turn the screen off... Rebooting the phone will fix until a call is made/received via bluetooth. This was confirmed with other Moto phones (Photon...) as well as different bluetooth devices.

I own a n97 mini which ma bro gifted n the sad thing is tht he sent frm UAE. The problem is when ever i make a call or recieve a call the battery goes down to single point n the mobile shows the battery low msg n shuts off. Its real pain in **bleep**. It works fine when not making or recieving calls. To my surprise i have observed tht the battery runs out immediately when using idea sim, drains lil slow with airtel, vodafone and satys for 24 hrs with docomo sim inside. Can any one let me know atleast wat is the problem. I hav updated the firware to 11.0.045* n i think this is nly da latest.

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

So in the last month I've had my Bold9900 i've had OS problems but today has taken the cake! My phone after having almost no battery life today won't turn on. I have been letting it charge for the last 3hrs and now it's doing a thing where it won't even turn on. It displays a hour glass and then the screen goes black and the red light will blink every few seconds. I have tried updating my OS by my desk top can not even detect my phone. nothing is working and can't make a call or even wake up in the morning without my phone.
