I have had a lot of trouble with my phone, I make a call and it connects with the party. But they say I am connected but they can not hear me and I can not here them! Also I do not here any ringing to the other party. If I reboot the phone it works, but after an hour or so I have to do the same thing again..... (reboot).
View 4 RepliesI just got my Razr Maxx and have a question about the voice to text. When I talk, it cuts off on me after only a short pause. My friend has this phone and it doesn't cut off on her that fast. Is there a way to set the length on how long it stays on before it cuts off?

I want to say what I notice is when I'm getting the ring back while waiting for someone to pick up is the "only" time I hear it. The audio in calls seems to be ok. It's sounds like a weak signal or interference. As far as I know (though I use my phone more for data than voice).I haven't noticed anything horrible as far as reception/call audio in calls, aside from when calling my mom, but I think that's her (she's famous for leaning on the mic or mumbling and trailing off). I start to think I must be old (I'm not) and losing my hearing (I'm not) but then I just realize it's herI don't know if it's because usually when I make a call I just unlock the screen and make the call and it was trying to re-start any data sleeping modes and such or if it's something else...

I have tried using Smart Actions but the only options seem to be changing the screen timeout option to a maximum of staying on for 10 minutes. View 5 Replies View Relatedwhen setting up your Gmail in the stock email app to use it that way or take advantage of the Universal Inbox you should do it this way.
1. if you set it up already by My Accounts > Add Account > Email Accounts > Gmail then you need to delete that account
2. go to My Accounts > Add Account > Email Accounts > Other
3. use the following:
Incoming Settings
IMAP server: imap.gmail.com
Port: 993
Security type: SSL (always)
Outgoing settings
SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 465
Security type: SSL (always)
this will now work as it should.the problem was that if you set it up with Gmail selected instead of Other then when you checked an email on the RAZR it would not show as Read on your Gmail account and same with Sent folder etc...

View 1 Replies View RelatedOK, this is one of the very few issues I've had, and it is very intermittent. Since September, only has happened like 3-4 times.I make a phone call - or someone calls me - and I can't hear them; nor them me. The green "connection" icon is active in the top bar - as is my DIALER (when I initiate the call - "END CALL" is active). When I call them, I never hear anything - including the normal dial out 'connection/ringing' sounds. They in fact DO get the ringing on their end and answer, but to them it appears as if nobody is on the line.I've tried just a simple AIRPLANE mode toggle, but that doesn't fix it. A Power reset of my phone fixes it every time. Has anyone else experienced this?

To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.

I use it frequently and it doesn't always automatically pick up the number+meeting code from the appointment but is generally pretty good. Since then, at least 2 times (possibly more if I was away from my phone when it happened), my phone has randomly started ringing without any incoming calls, alarms or calender appointments set, emails, messages, etc. The only way I could make it stop is to shut the phone down. The volume of the ringing isn't as loud as my set volume, but there is no way to silence it aside from shutting down the phone. Never did it before the system update. I'm not positive if it happens at the same time each time, but it was around 4:17 PM yesterday when it did it.

Then, when the proximity sensor was triggered when you removed the phone from your face, the screen would light-up, the phone screen woudl be present, and you would simply end the call. Now, when I remove the phone from my face I find the lock-screen, so I must first unlock it before I can end the call. I have searched for a settings to fix this and cannot locate what I need

Sometimes, I ignore the call and my original call gets dropped. Other times, I switch over to pick up the second call and both calls get dropped. Sometimes, it works is it should and I can go back and forth between calls as expected. This has happened in multiple locations, so I do not believe it is tower specific. I never experienced this issue with the original Moto Droid I owned prior to the RAZR.

When I go to swipe the unlock/answer screen, the touchscreen is completely unresponsive and I have to let the call go to voice mail. I can't figure out what is causing it, but it periodically happens once or twice a week.

On the iPhone the screen will stay on during a phone call. On my RAZR M the display goes dark after 1 minute and I can't figure out how to re-light it. Hitting the power button ends the call. Is there a way to keep the screen on other than setting the time delay to 10 minutes?
