Everytime I connect my phone to a PC to import pictures, etc.. after it is properly ejected, the phone will reboot continuously. It gets to the home screen and then will shut off and turn on again. It does this at least 15-20 times before it will stay stable. Once it stays on, I then have to reset my ringtones and wallpapers. Is there a way to keep it from doing this?
View 7 RepliesA couple of weeks ago my phone was updated to the latest system software, and now am experiencing a slight problem. My phone can no longer connect to a WiFi where the wireless SSID Broadcast is disabled. Once enabled, it will automatically connect, as if it couldn't find it before. Then, if I disable the broadcasting, it will disconnect as if the wireless were shut down. It didn't do this before the update. Is there a setting or something that needs to be changed? After the update, I had a setting or two changed, automatically it seemed, that caused problems (such as the Data Saver turned on) but this is the last thing I'm having issues with.

The car comes with an auxilary media port and I had tested it out with my friend's HTC and it charged and played music through the radio. I tried connecting my Electrify today and after a few seconds my radio said "read error".he Electrify brought up the icon on the top ribon that notifies that there is a USB connection, but it quickly disapeared and I was not able to get to the prompt that allows me to switch from mass storage, carge, etc

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

View 8 Replies View RelatedI've suddenly started getting problems with my laptop seeing my Xoom. when I connect via the supplied usb cable my laptop makes the "bing bong" noise so I know it is aware of the Xoom but it no longer appears in the file explorer window. Also, in a different kind of problem, when I tried to pair the Xoom with my " Document to go" app it won't see the Xoom either. It bleats on about going to settings on the Xoom and checking the usb settings but there is nothing in the Xoom settings menu about usb at all.transfering files to/from the Xoom to my laptop is getting to be a right pain in the backside. Any solutions before one of these items gets thrown in the bin? I just want to transfer files, Office docs mainly, to my Xoom. How hard can it be?
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have recently purchased a motoactv which works great, but when I try and connect it to a computer it doesn't connect properly. The initial connection via usb managed to install the USB Composite Device driver, but failed to install the Motorola Networking Interface and the Motorola ADB Interface. Nothing else happens. Whenever I connect or disconnect I do get the notification sound, but again nothing else. It does not even appear in my computer. I tried system restore to a previous point to remove the drivers and try again, but on the initial connection of the device exactly the same thing happened again. I have tried installing motocast but have had no results with that either.

I really now need it to connect to Verizon. When I take it into the store the techies are at a loss. Should I contact Motorala directly? Tried to connect to home modem (RTA1046VW) and the modem disconnected from the internet and would not connect unless I turned off the phone wifi. Other phones connect to the router fine, HTC desire HD and samsung galaxy S I. Is it a problem with phone? Not compatible?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI used the Moto software to back up my phone yesterday, and since then it won't connect to wi-fi. It finds the signal, starts looking for an IP address, then stips the process. I've tried to turn off 3G and 4G, together and in combinations, updated PRL and profile, but to no avail. Even rebooted the router to make sure something wasn't wrong with it and other devices in the house are working just fine. Not sure if this has anything to do with the backup, but it's a problem I've never had before.

It fails with an error that says failed to install something called "ADB" drivers. The phone and car find each other, the phone asks for the PIN code and it says connected. But, when I try to connect the phone to my car, I get an error message that the car has rejected the connection.

I also noticed I no longer get the options I use to when connecting (specifically no productivity mode).I have tried rebooting the phone, removing battery and repowering and reconnecting, no difference at all.
View 1 Replies View RelatedLast week i had my Defy running UK T-Mobile Froyo suddenly stop being able to use Facebook or Twitter, despite other applications (HotUkDeals, Browser, Tesco ) all being able to connect to the net - it happened at the same time.I have since cleared the cache on both, uninstalled, re-installed, and all i keep getting when trying to login to FB is: "An error occurred during sign in" and on Twitter: "An error occured when signing in. Please try again later".
Is there a setting buried somewhere that might be causing this? Is it something like an SSL Cert becoming expired? Really annoyed by it as it means no FB messaging during the day.
I bought my Xyboard 10.1 on 3/16/12. On 3/24/12 I attempted to sign in to MotoCast. I successfully set up my account on my laptop and chose the folders I wanted to sync. I then opened the MotoCast app on my tablet, entered my email address and password and received the following error notification: Unable to connect at this time, try again later.
