My Electricfy will not "reply to all" on text messages. I've read some posts that want to disable the feature but mine will not "reply to all" automatically. In fact, it only sends it to the person that started the text. My HTC Desire would allow a "reply to all" feature so I figure there might be a way but I've not found it.

I have a Motorola Electrify from US Cellular, and am able to get text messages from anyone that is not on the Sprint network. My sprint friends receive texts from me, but when they answer, I do not get them.
Is there a setting that I should check, or have them to check?
Is there anyway to set up the electrify's contacts for incoming sms text from Facebook.

If I want to send them a new text message, I have to write a new one instead of replying. What could cause this issue? I can reply to most of my contacts. I had this issue on my previous Xperia phone as well.

I get an error message that says the number is invalid because it isn't a ten digit number. I enter a ten digit number for the Sender in my Contacts, but I receive the same error message.

I ended up deleting the message as it wasn't important.However, a few days later, I get a message not sent notification in my bar. Selecting on it brings up my text messaging app and a box comes up Message Not Available. Clearing the notification does no good, as it just pops back up whenever I access my text messaging.

I found out last night that when you reply to a text message that had more than one original recipient...all original recipients receive your reply...not just the one that sent the text to you. I have already been to the notifications settings in the factory widget app I'm using and turned off "display notifications in status". However this seems to not show ANY notification in the status bar that there is an unopened text waiting. View 12 Replies View RelatedI'm probably going to have to take this in to the local US Cellular store to see if they can figure out what is going on. I tried sending texts to three different individuals this morning and all are not going through. Initially I was using Go SMS Pro as my default SMS program. Thinking something may be messed up with that program, I switched my default SMS program to the phone's Text Messaging program. Still cannot send or receive any messages. I am on a business plan (which my wife is on as well). She is receiving and sending texts fine. I tried sending her a test text, and it tells me "Message Not Sent". I had her send a test text to me. It shows that it sends fine on her end, but I never get anything.
Is there any error log I can look at to see what's going on? I have powered my phone off and on 3 times already this morning and that hasn't fixed the issue. Any suggestions or am I just going to have to take it in? I hate doing that because they're just going to do a Factory Reset I'm sure since they aren't too good on the technical side of things.
My current text messages are being combined with old text messages, creating messages that don't reflect what I sent. The recipients of my texts are very confused....as am I when I get there response.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?
