I use the app "Snycmypix" so I can link my contacts with their photos on facebook. Before the 2.3.4 update, the app worked fine and was full screen. Now, it take about a little more than 1/4 of my screen. Any know whats up with that, and if Moto is aware of it and working on a fix?
View 5 RepliesI have recently updated my Bell Atrix to the latest version that came out. I did it OTA and everything went great. Some applications appear much smaller on the screen than they should. For example WeatherEye appears as if it were zoomed out. It also happens the same way with Swiftkey X beta, which shows up about 1/2 as big as it should.

View 2 Replies View RelatedEver since the last system update, the Contact Groups I created have an icon with a padlock next to them and I have no capacity to edit their content.
I can create new Groups (I assume, because there's a button that says I can), but can't change existing ones. I've tried going to the individual contacts to see if the group designation reside there now, etc. I'm wondering if this is tied to Verizon's Backup Assistant, somehow, though my groups don't appear on the web interface for that service at all.
I cannot find a way to get an Android app that runs successfully on my Atrix to display anywhere on the LapDock screen - except in the small "Mobile View" window. One reason for buying the LapDock was to run apps with more screen real-estate. The AT&T store guy assured me the phone+lapdock combo could do that, pointing to the browser and the file manager.
If they cannot do that - or the APIs to allow that are "unavailable", that is an overwhelmingly disappointing product restriction.
Looks like I will be heading to Verizon tomrrorow for an exchage on my DROID after 3 weeks with it. Today, suddenly, the bottom icons are no longer responding to touch. I cannot click the phone dialer, SMS, camera or app icons. Anything above this first row still works fine. I did a factory reset on the phone and still no luck.
View 9 Replies View Relatedok i am bored at work finished my stuff early i must kill 30 minutes. anyways i get on Internet to watch some hdnet fights my phone that im still waiting for its replacement to get here as usual battery down to 40% witih little use. i have to put it to charge im thinking cool the charging hookup is on the left side so i can lay phone on therightet side and watch videos cable pointing up. well it plays full screen upside down why put the usb port on the side and not let video play in full screen landscape mode with usb port facing up. is there a way to fix this because its so lame. i have to hold the phone rather than lat it there because the usb crable is in the way when trying to watch in landscape mode. in top of it my touchscreen is still acting erratic while charging.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen watching any video on my S2 (either downloaded or streaming) the video itself is very small in the centre of the screen. This wasn't always the case with it though. I think I must have dozed off watching something the other evening, leaving my finger on the screen, and now the "video ratio" icon that should be on the bar with the play, rwd and ffwd icons is no longer there!
Whatever I try, I cannot get the icon back or reset the video to maximise itself on screen.
Never had this problem before but it started in the last few days... I can no longer add apps to my homescreens by selecting "add to homescreen". I can move them around, delete them, add widgets and shortcuts and stuff like that. BUT I can not add an app by selecting the 'add to homescreen' option. I cleared teh cache and am not runnng any boot loaders of the type. Up to date droid x.

After updating to Lollipop 5.1, I noticed my screen is blank after using any app (messaging, GMail, etc.) and it won't come back. Calls and texts and other notices come (can actually answer calls and see the call screen) through, but home screen and any adjacent screens are all black. The status bar and icons are visible though and I can use the pull down menu. It's as if it is refreshing but never gets to the end. I installed many apps, even used a stock wallpaper), but it still will do this. I have to keep rebooting until it eventually stops; I check it by using a random app and seeing if I can see the screen by pressing the Home button. I also wiped the cache partition after the OS upgrade.

When I disabled stock text and got sms pro it defaulted to this. Has anyone else figured out how to customized these apps? My friend is running a JB rom on his nexus and was able to have something like 10(maybe more) customisable apps located on his unlock wheel.

After upgrading to Gingerbread I noticed that when I go to the recent apps screen and I try to open Tweetdeck (seems to be the only app that does this) I get a "Application is not installed on phone" error message. Which makes no sense because it's running in the background and opens fine. I've cleared my cache and uninstalled and reinstalled TD and still get the error. Assuming this is a bug, but it seems weird to only happen for a specific app.

I've switched the auto rotate in settings on and off several times, pulled the battery, even installed an auto rotate switch app...nothing. View 4 Replies View Relatedafter the ics update my screen suffers from a flicker. trying to pin down the cause, i have noticed it is fine after i reboot my phone. but, once i go into my flipboard app, taptu app, or watch a video on Internet is when it starts acting up. i can play games just fine. i can view most webpages just fine. i can use all my other apps just fine. i've uninstalled, reinstalled these apps, i've pulled the battery, i've changed settings, i've cleared cache. i just can't figure it out. the phone ran just fine before the update. now, after the update is when i have problems. i ran into another person online that has the same issue so i know there is at least one other person in the world having simular issues. this forum is my last resort before calling verizon support and either getting a replacement or upgrading to a different phone.

I have checked that app store is signed in to my current email address, it is, but as soon as I click Update it asks for the password to an old email address. I am having an issue where i receive the standard unlock screen even though I have a password configured. If I use the slide menu I am never prompted for my password. There are also times when the normal unlock screen will flash up and then go straight to my password.
Current configuration: PIN, lock screen after 5 sec, lock immediatly on power press.
This only happens when I allow the screen to go to sleep on it's own. If i press the power button I am not seeing the issue.
Under 2.3.4 on the Bionic when you placed a call using the stock calling app you would see under the photo of your caller his/her Facebook status update (providing they were linked via Facebook).this seems to have been removed on 2.3.5 with the Razr.or am I just not flipping some switch?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an SD card the says "MICRO HC 8GB co8G Taiwan". It has a little circle that has a "4" in it. My Droid X2 is reading it as a 4 GB card and says it's full even though most of my apps are in the internal memory. When downloading app data it says there's enough room. When I removed the SD card, there are a number of apps that are checking as being on the SD card. When I "Move to media area" it changes to "Move to phone" which suggests that it just move the app to the SD card...which in not in the phone!
Is this a programing problem with the phone where it's not finding the SD card at all, or is this a faulty SD card?
I went into messaging then settings and checked preview message and it still doesn't do anything. this is really annoying.
