May 16, 2012I have a Verizon Iphone 4S. I am running 5.1.1. Recently I have been having trouble downloading or updating applications.They will no longer download/update at all. It hangs at the waiting.I already did an Iphone restore and reset all of my settings. That hasn't helped.

I have checked that app store is signed in to my current email address, it is, but as soon as I click Update it asks for the password to an old email address. It doesn't even recognise the password that used to be associated with that address.

Oct 30, 2012My blackberry 9800 is no longer working with apps. It appears that all newly installed apps or upgraded apps (purchased or free) now give a 'verify error' on start up. I have re-installed the apps and even re-installed the OS to no avail.Online forums show many others with this issue but the only advice is upgrade to OS 7 which is not an option for the 9800 I own (a bit over a year old) some suggestion the app registry is full but no idea how to fix this.

Jul 2, 2012The motion detector trigger is no longer working after my ICS update on my Droid Razr. Before that I had battery extender operating with no issues - it turned off background data and syncing when the screen was dimmed plus there was no movement. After, the battery extender will trigger every time my display goes off, ignoring the motion detector. Or other times it won't trigger at all, even when sitting on a flat unmoving surface. I've tried disabling and re-enabling. I've tried clearing the cache. I've deleted the rule and redone it several times. Sometimes I can get it to work if I shake the phone vigorously before place it firmly down, but not always. Before the update to ICS, it had the right sensitivity and worked every time. Currently I'm running Smart Actions version 3.1.5.1.2.
Is there any way to make this work again? It's such a shame to lose it, but I don't like having the battery extender kick in every time the screen goes off (as, if it times out while I'm looking at it, then I lose all my data while using the phone).

Jan 31, 2010Last night I finally installed 3.2.1 in my 3GS. I then synced it with my brand new MacBook Pro.Now nothing works except what came with it. Any app I try to open kicks me back out to the home screen.I have tried turning it off and on but that has done nothing.Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Dec 5, 2014updated my new iPhone 6 plus to 8.1.1 and the maps app won't work just crashes everytime it's opened so everything that uses a link to it eg:- find my friend, find my phone, Argos app facebook if someone puts their location on which shows the map all crash. And my safari just crashes when ever it likes.

Jan 15, 2016I am on stock rom, using SuperSU 2.66. I have tried using texdroider_dpi and one other app but they cannot change my dpi. It says it sets but then I reboot and I'm stuck on 560 dpi. I changed dpi in adb but some elements don't work such as my Swiftkey, the little blue diamonds for top devs in play store.
I assume this is a SuperSU issue but these DPI apps have worked since I first rooted this phone back in November. Only the current update has broken this.

IPhone :: Apps Taking Longer Than 15 Seconds To Get Deleted On 4S
Jun 20, 2012I got my iPhone 4s last September and since then I've updated the firmware twice hoping that would solve the problem but it didn't. When I hold an app to delete it, it does start to wriggle immediately but when I press the delete button it takes more than 15 seconds for the are you sure message to pop up. I don't normally delete apps so I keep forgetting that that bug is there but when I do delete apps its when I urgently need space to take a video or something so when it takes me over ten minutes to just delete a couple of apps and yes it doesn't happen for just one delete it happens for each delete. Ever since I upgraded to 5.1.1 the freeze time decreased a bit to 15-30 seconds it used to be longer but I could really use a permenant fix for this.

May 17, 2012So a few days ago I dropped my iPhone 4. I'm not 100% sure but I think that is when my sound stopped working. The speakers are working fine, I can hear music and things like that. None of the phone sounds such as clicking when lock/unlocked, keyboard clicks etc are working. When I press the + and - volume buttons the icon does not appear, same as when i mute/unmute it. No sounds, nothing appears. Also, when I receive incoming calls the ringer no longer works.
I have tried cleaning with toothbrush, restarting, restoring, blowing in the phone, etc.

Mar 30, 2012I downloaded and used Siri Assistant on my iPhone 3gs for about a year. Loved it. Now, the app still starts, but continually says there is no network connection available? Has Apple stopped supporting the stand alone version just because they have now included it in the 4gs?
Also, does the 4gs have file send capability via Bluetooth yet, and if not, what are we supposed to do with synching our contact and phone information into our Prius?
Only way I have found so far is to copy my Outlook contact list into my old Sony Ericson phone and synch it with the Prius. That worked from day one, and sure beats the heck out of trying to enter each and every contact one key at a time.

But i recently wanted to use it and i saw it would not work at all !!! I was running ios 5.0.1. Then i thought i should update my iphone to make it work again, but in vain, my adapter seems to work no more... I of course tried to restore my iphone and checked my hdmi cable.

Jul 15, 2010Im new to these forums so bare with me while i try to explain my problem. I created a new thread because i dont think anyone has done something as stupid as i have ... although if there is one you can redirect me to with a problem exactly like this then do that by all means
I've been running an iphone 3GS with firmware 3.1.2. jailbroken with blackrain and unlocked for quite a while now and its been working great.Although recently i jailbroke my friends ipod touch with spirit, and seeing how easy this was i decided to give it a go with my phone (i backed up before hand so if things turned sour i could just restore and reload my data).
After i tried this spirit jailbreak, the phone entered recovery mode so it obviously didnt work. But the problem now is that when i try to restore it via itunes to 3.1.2. i get an error message which is something along the lines of "The iPhone could not be restored because the device isnt eligible for the requested build".
So seeing as i couldnt restore it to factory settings this way, i tried re-jailbreaking it using blackra1n which i have used before as mentioned. However when i do this now it seems to look like its working (the guys face comes up) but when it reboots it just slips back into recovery mode and blackrain automatically tries to jailbreak it again. This cycle repeats itself indefinately.
So basically my iphone is in limbo as i can no longer restore it to factory settings due to the firmware error and i cant jailbreak it because blackrain is no longer doing it for me (ive tried re-downloading blackrain, and doing it on a different pc to no avail).
