I have had my X2 for a couple of weeks now and today noticed a flashing gray outlined triangle oriented like a pyramid on the notification bar. It is located between the signal strength bars and the WiFi strength symbol. I cannot find anywhere what this symbol indicates in any of the documentation; the manual or on-line. The phone seems to be operating normaly.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI got the orange triangle notification yesterday saying something about having to re-enter my password. I enter it and I'm told it's invalid but I know it isn't. I change the password three or four times and keep getting the same results. However going directly to a Google site the passwords worked every time and yet my phone authentication whatever you want to call it tells me its wrong. Can't access Google play or update any app atm.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have no notifications in the drop-down menu and the green notification LED won't stop flashing when the screen is off. If I do get a real notification and clear it, then light will go away until the next reboot. I've done two factory resets and no change. I took the phone into Sprint this morning after a reset and no apps installed and the tech verified the problem but after a few minutes on the computer, he told me this was a known software problem and he can't do anything about it. I have spent most of today troubleshooting this and searching the internet and have yet to find any other Photon user with the same problem. I've seen some other posts with other phones (android and blackberry), but nothing that looked to be widespread and nothing by Photon users. I did find a way around this by rooting and installing an app that takes control of the LED but I shouldn't have to do this and the app seems to be a battery drain. I've since got rid of the app, unrooted and tried flashing the 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf (old software from August) and the problem was still there. I then let the phone take the OTA updates and the problem persists. I didn't have this problem until I did a factory reset on Friday trying to get rid of another problem with rebooting.

View 12 Replies View RelatedIt's the 3rd time in 2 weeks that my iphone suddenly goes dead. It gets stuck on the apple symbol that goes on and off. I hard reseted it and recovered from icloud backup.
Is it the 8.1.1. software o could it be a hardware problem ? My iphone has 64Gb capacity and it had only 9Gb free. I can´t replay the crush, so if I now take it to a Mac support center, they will probably say the iphone is ok..

Since 1am (PDT) this morning I've had no data on my Bionic. By that I mean there's been no data symbol -- no 3G symbol at all. I'm not talking about the "white, not blue 3G/4G" issue that some people have reported (and which I've never had). I would expect this if the phone was constantly downloading email or social network feeds but when I try to load those I get the message "Could not open connection to server" when attempting to access e-mails as well as this message when attempting to load news feed on Facebook "Error loading news feed" ....

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I just got the G3 yesterday and finally have it setup. I have noticed though that the notification light does not seem to be functioning. When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.

So I got the GSM version of this phone.I have always liked that Droid! notification that alerts you to a new email in my mail box.Is there anyway to get that on my Milestone?Also is there anyway to access the apps store for the free apps without having to sign up for a Gmail account?
I installed update and it is DEFINITELY NOT Ice Cream Sandwich. I have Android Ice Cream Sandwich OS on my Droid RAZR MAXX. After the update to my wife's Droid 4, she has System 6.13.219, Android 2.3.6 (still Gingerbread).

Every android phone I've had (Droid, Inc, tbolt etc) has done this. But none has flashed the LED for hours. I'm not sure if it ever turns off.
i tried resetting my phone and removing the battery. The notification light does not work but briefly flashes one time when i recieve an email or text message!

Possibly, it is due to the phone being registered out of MI, with a MI area code, and the phone and myself, are actually located in a western state. Irregardless, I have not received any notification of an upgrade and before I go looking for it, is it really worthwhile at this time, or should I wait until all the bugs I'm reading about are fixed?My X with Froyo, is operating great. No problems other than maybe once a week a freeze up that requires a battery pull. Since I came from the BB world, and I also carry a BB tour for work, battery pulls are no big deal and almost seems natural.I read about problems, not only here, but on a few other forums. I read where people have to take their phones into the local Verizon store for service after GB upgrade. That is not a good option for me, since this involves a 120 mile trip to the nearest Verizon store

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen I plug in my phone once the battery has gotten low enough for the "low battery warning" message to pop up--it begins to flash on and off and beep endlessly. I can't hit ok or use my phone in any way, it just keeps flashing and beeping even if I have, say 15% battery, enough to accomplish some sort of task still. If I unplug the phone I it stops flashing and I could then use the phone normally, but as soon as I plug it back in it flashes the warning repeatedly until I turn off the screen and it then begins charging (what I assume is normally).
