BB Torch :: 9800 Unknown Notification Symbol?
Aug 25, 2012I have looked through the forum and been searching online but can not find out what this new symbol is on y notifications on my BB 9800.When I click on it, it only brings up my calendar/emails etc nothing new. It is a light blue symbol, with a loop at the back! I have a picture but cannot work out how to put on here.

Sep 27, 2011I have had my X2 for a couple of weeks now and today noticed a flashing gray outlined triangle oriented like a pyramid on the notification bar. It is located between the signal strength bars and the WiFi strength symbol. I cannot find anywhere what this symbol indicates in any of the documentation; the manual or on-line. The phone seems to be operating normaly.

Mar 26, 2012i charged my iphone overnight and it is turned off. i noticed for the past few days that the plug symbol when an iphone is fully charged never appears. the iphone seems to be still charging. but when i turn on my phone it says that it is 100% charged. why wouldnt the charging symbol change into the full plug symbol when fully charged?

Jan 4, 2011Where I can find the % symbol on a blackberry torch. Pressing the "sym" button brings up the symbol screen, both pages do not have the % symbol. I'm on v6.0.0.246 (bundle 695, platform 6.4.0.105) on the Rogers Network.

Nov 2, 2011I have a bb torch 9800 it was working really awesome but all of a sudden when I woke up in morning it was switched off. I tried charging but even then its not showing any charging symbol nor its its turning on, And I tried a new battery then it got on but after 2min its getting restart repeatedly even then its not charging if I plug it to charger, but I tried my old battery in another torch its charging properly. I took it to bb authorised service center they told me its mother board fault, but I can't believe it bcoz its just 6months old.

It starts a little bit the normal start up procedure (1 or 2 mm from the white nooting line I can see) and than it stopps and shows me the battery symbol. Jan 2, 2011The text message icon normally disappears once I review the notification or read the text message itself. Same for any type of notification. The trouble is that sometimes the notification icon remains. I receive the notification, activate the icon but the icon remains in the notification area. Reactivating it opens a reply screen with the onscreen keboard. Hitting return does not eliminate the notification.
Cannot tell why it happens some times but it appears to only happen with text messsages. The sole solution is to reboot. A nuisance with corrupt icons. Whose problem, the carrier (Rogers) or BB ?
