BB Torch :: 9800 Don't Start And Show The Symbol "no Battery"
Jun 14, 2011
I shut off my Blackberry Torch today morning before a flight and after that I could restart it - it allways ends with the symbol "no batterie". It starts a little bit the normal start up procedure (1 or 2 mm from the white nooting line I can see) and than it stopps and shows me the battery symbol. How can I fix this urgently - I'm on a business trip and I need the BB!
My device/phone became unresponsive, so I took the battery our to do a full reset. Now the phone stays on a continuous loop trying to start. Blackberry Torch 9800.
Is there any way or any app that will display the battery level as a percentage? I've installed battery watch but I need to open the app in order to see the info. Also is there any apps that turn off the shutter sound?
I have looked through the forum and been searching online but can not find out what this new symbol is on y notifications on my BB 9800.When I click on it, it only brings up my calendar/emails etc nothing new. It is a light blue symbol, with a loop at the back! I have a picture but cannot work out how to put on here.
Where I can find the % symbol on a blackberry torch. Pressing the "sym" button brings up the symbol screen, both pages do not have the % symbol. I'm on v6.0.0.246 (bundle 695, platform 6.4.0.105) on the Rogers Network.
I have a bb torch 9800 it was working really awesome but all of a sudden when I woke up in morning it was switched off. I tried charging but even then its not showing any charging symbol nor its its turning on, And I tried a new battery then it got on but after 2min its getting restart repeatedly even then its not charging if I plug it to charger, but I tried my old battery in another torch its charging properly. I took it to bb authorised service center they told me its mother board fault, but I can't believe it bcoz its just 6months old.
BlackBerry Torch 9800 will not start properly, turns on, red LED light comes on, then black screen with a battery with a cross through the middle on screen.
My blackberry torch 9800 will not turn on. when i try to turn it on, the normal red LED lights up, and stays on for about 2-3 seconds but then there is another LED that lights up.There is another red LED that lights up right beside the normal LED, and it is a distinct secondary LED which turns on usually the same time as the normal LED but not all the time, sometimes it lights up on its own?
I tried to set up my emails on my BB Torch 9800. The app required an update + reboot of the phone, so I did it. Since then however, the device won't start. When I turn it on, the loading bar ends and nothing happens afterwards.Plus, I cannot connect the device to my laptop: The Desktop Software wont recognize it. Sometimes i get an error message: 507 or 606 (? not sure about this one...
I reloaded the OS on my BB Torch 9800 and now when I start the phone it gets stuck on the licence agreement screen. I cannot scroll with either the touch screen or the track pad to accept.
The situtation that my Blackberry Torch has recently been in is that the out of no where, the Blackberry will freeze up. The LED indicator will be lit up for a short period of time, for a total of two times. After that, the system reboots itself. During this problematic process, I cannot use the buttons at all to try to stop it or do something else.I have reinstalled the OS Software and have done a hard reset during the red LED indicates.I don't have warranty becase I have purchase this off my friend after his warranty was over and he got himself another phone.
I had my BB Torch 9800 for few month. Previously used to work fine, all my emails used to show up in message folder. But these days when I receive emails my bb flashes red and it shows on top of the screen emails icon. But when I open my messages folder it shows empty folder without any emails, even though I can see the email icon showing there is emails awaiting. I do aware of this option that, if I press bb menu and then press show all, my email address with my name will show up. With this way I can view received emails. But I don't want to use this option, as I prefer all my emails goes to message folder, that way I can have more space to download other apps.
Note: if i reboot my device all emails shows up in message folder! I don't want to reboot my device everytime I face this problem.
When someone sends me an email, it takes 15 minutes for it to show up on my torch. If I log into my outlook account on a computer, I can see the email has been delivered to me.I called BB support, and they said that there is no way I can do an instant feed to my phone from an outlook account. I don't believe this is true.Does anyone know how I can resolve this? I am not using enterprise, I set up as internet mail account
I recently got a replacement for my torch 9800 from t-mobile as it had broken but the battery was fine. I tried to connect it up to the replacement phone and it didn't work. T-mobile did not send the phone with a new battery. Is there anyway of getting the old battery to work on the new phone?
I am running the quickpull app, but has anyone else noticed how hard it is to actually remove the battery in the Torch? I have had two 9800s and I've noticed this with both of them.Trying to get the battery out is "Torcher"!!!!
After only 2 minutes on a phone call or 2 minutes of surfing the internet, my battery drains to ZERO and the phone shuts off. If I pop out the battery and reboot, I have about 50% of battery life remaining. If I make a call or browse again, the same thing happens? the device software is 6.0.0.600.
My Torch 9800 has begun to drain the battery. I have to charge my phone about every 4 hours. It is also runs very slow. The little hourglass is constantly on the screen. I purchased a new battery and that did not help. What can I doo?
I had an issue with my Torch 9800 smartphone, my phone booted and show a battery Icon with 2red lines across it. I have tried to wipe the OS with BBSAK 1.8.0, 1.8.2, 1.9.2 , JL_CMDR and Java Loader, none of this work for me, as they all fail to connect to my device. BBSAK could not detect my device. But BB desktop Manager can connect, detect and recongnise my device. When I try to update and reload the OS with DM and BB application loader, I get stuck up with an error message: "Reconnecting to JVM". My Laptop HP Pavilion dm4 Notebook is running 64-bit / Window 7.
I am trying to charge my blackberry after a weekend camping. The battery ran out. I plugged it into charge, it started to boot, the screen flashed white and now it won't come off the red x with a battery behind it.
For the past week or so my Torch has been having rapid battery drains from about 50% where it beeps and says "battery depleted, switching off" and turns itself off!
Sometimes it wont turn back on until plugged into the charger, while others it will turn back on again after a while, and shows 50% battery again. But if you try and do anything like use the camera, surf the net or go on facebook, it turns off again. The fact it still shows 50% just before 'draining' and again when turned on tells me this is not a real problem with the battery but something to do with software?
I have tried restarting the phone, turning it off and doing battery pulls, doing battery pulls while it's turned on or while its turned on and plugged into the charger I have disabled the compression storage option, checked my CPU usage which seems normal (nothing is running using a lot of CPU), deleted apps which I thought may be causing the issue (with reboots in between), no apps are open in the background running all the time...
Recently App world asked me to do an upgrade to 4.0.0.63. When I did this, the App world icon had disappeared from my phone (not hidden or anything, it was visable in application management, but the icon was nowhere on the phone). I found a forum which suggested I re-downgrade back to app world version 4.0.0.55 to solve this issue. That is what I did, and the app world icon reappeared.
Since these app world updates, this is when the battery drain issue on my phone has been occuring. My phone Blackberry OS is: 9800/6.0.0.246
I am in Australia, so not sure if this affects any OS updates or anything. who knows anything about the best way to resolve this issue. Having an unreliable phone is frustrating, and very inconveneient when out with no charger (no one wants to have to carry their charger everywhere, nor should they.
