HTC One M7 :: Low Battery Notification Flashing Endlessly While Charging
Aug 15, 2013
When I plug in my phone once the battery has gotten low enough for the "low battery warning" message to pop up--it begins to flash on and off and beep endlessly. I can't hit ok or use my phone in any way, it just keeps flashing and beeping even if I have, say 15% battery, enough to accomplish some sort of task still. If I unplug the phone I it stops flashing and I could then use the phone normally, but as soon as I plug it back in it flashes the warning repeatedly until I turn off the screen and it then begins charging (what I assume is normally).
My z2 doesn't charge anymore because after connecting every kind of charger (usb cable or docking station) the led light starts blinking and the notification of "charging battery" appears and disappears. What should I do?
My phone is still in warranty but in the official site it is registered as "missing warranty".
So I just got the G3 yesterday and finally have it setup. I have noticed though that the notification light does not seem to be functioning. When i receive notifications there is no flashing, regardless of the type of notification. I know the light is not broken because it does flash blue when I knock on the screen, and it also lights red when charging. I downloaded Light Flow to see if I could force the light, but that does not seem to have worked either. I checked to make sure the notification light was set to on under the Display setting page.
I have a Rogers Bold 9900 that wouldn't turn on this morning after charging last night. Instead I have a slow flashing red indicator light.I tried to connect it to my Blackberry Desktop Software but it wouldn't see it (kept saying it couldn't connect).I understand this is a common problem with the 9900 and that exchange the phone is the only solution. Typically I would go back to Rogers and try to exchange the phone but I bought the phone outright and can't find the receipt anywhere.SInce this model is less than a year old (so my phone can't be out of warranty is there another way to exchange it without my original receipt?I came back to BB from Android and actually quite liked my Bold (especially in tandem with my Playbook) but now I find myself back on an old Android phone because my Bold is dead.
I pulled my phone out a bit ago and my LED Notification LED was flashing blue at me. I checked the notification area and there was nothing there. I checked my settings in Light Flow Lite and checked the three areas it was controlling that had a bluish light set. Nothing there (I even changed the colors of those notifications - no change). I looked around the phone as much as I could figure out and could find nothing. I finally had to reboot the phone to get the light to go off.
So I've had this phone short of a week, and I love it. For some reason today, my S6 will randomly blink a red LED notification, but when I unlock my phone, there are no new notifications.
My first 2 thoughts were low battery indicator or no service indicator, but neither is the reason.
A red light flashes 7 times every minute or so. I updated my phone 2 weeks ago and it has been doing it ever since. I have rebooted and it hasn't stopped.
I have no notifications in the drop-down menu and the green notification LED won't stop flashing when the screen is off. If I do get a real notification and clear it, then light will go away until the next reboot. I've done two factory resets and no change. I took the phone into Sprint this morning after a reset and no apps installed and the tech verified the problem but after a few minutes on the computer, he told me this was a known software problem and he can't do anything about it. I have spent most of today troubleshooting this and searching the internet and have yet to find any other Photon user with the same problem. I've seen some other posts with other phones (android and blackberry), but nothing that looked to be widespread and nothing by Photon users. I did find a way around this by rooting and installing an app that takes control of the LED but I shouldn't have to do this and the app seems to be a battery drain. I've since got rid of the app, unrooted and tried flashing the 1FF-sunfire-user-2.3.4-4.5.1A-1_SUN-154_5-CM-release-keys-signed-Sprint-US.sbf (old software from August) and the problem was still there. I then let the phone take the OTA updates and the problem persists. I didn't have this problem until I did a factory reset on Friday trying to get rid of another problem with rebooting.
I would like to replace the flashing red LED (new message notification) with a constant red LED. It's a bit annoying having to wait ~5 seconds to see whether it's flashing or not. Constant red light would be much faster. In the profile options I can only choose between flashing and off.Is there a workaround for this or are there any 3rd party applications that could accomplish this?
I have had my X2 for a couple of weeks now and today noticed a flashing gray outlined triangle oriented like a pyramid on the notification bar. It is located between the signal strength bars and the WiFi strength symbol. I cannot find anywhere what this symbol indicates in any of the documentation; the manual or on-line. The phone seems to be operating normaly.
I use E66 and E52 phones. When I receive a new message, notification light starts flashing on both phones. It is OK. But... I often use Nokia PC Suite for managing my messages. When I read all new messages on E66, notification light automatically changes its self from flashing mode to "breathing". It's fine. But it doesn't work on my E52. When I read all new messages, notification light is still flashing (no "breathing"!) on E52. I read manual and I know that it is necessary to use my phone directly to stop flashing. Why (if all messages has been read)? I think, it correct works on E66. What is the problem? I use latest version of firmware and Nokia PC Suite (not OVI Suite!). I contacted Nokia HelpDesk, but they told me something like "it is not a bug, it is a feature".
My sony Xperia z3 has the notification light flashing blue, but the screen wont turn on. Ive tried plugging the charger in, using the wireless charger, I even had ny husband call my phone and the screen never lit up and the phone never rang. Ive held down the power button, ive held the power and vol up button and still nothing.
Sony xperia s not turning on, only green notification light blinking? - The phone was on the charge throughout the night, in the morning phone`s ot switching ON, despite of pressing the power button for some time.
My green blinking LED notification keeps flashing when screen times out but there no messages that I can find on my phone and my battery is fully charged. Could this be a lag issue with my e-mail ISP? It does nto matter if I am using 3G or WiFi. Seems to have just started in last week or so.
Is there a way to disable the blue flashing notification light when bridged to a playbook? I clicked through all the settings I couldn't find anything. It's mildly annoying.
I have already read enough of this great forum post, I hope in the future to helpbeginners like me, one day we had to IOS (formerly had a Galaxy S2) and now we are more than comfortable with my 4s!I have the cell phone constantly charging, either in the Dock, when I go to bed, Through The cable in my university (when I'm in class or on the computer in the Library), this because the phone if consuming battery (I have the iOS 5.0.1) and hate running out of battery (no phone) when I'm away from home. Then the doubt (I've already searched in many forums) is whether this is detrimental tothe battery of the phone, or simply when the iPhone detects that is loaded, just stops receiving load and nothing happens:
Just purchased iPhone 4S and it's sucking the life out of the battery. I've read several posts to turn items off to save battery life and nothing seems to be working.
I was downloading an app from BB app world and my BB started to reboot itself it gets 3/4 of the way through a reboot and then goes back to the beggining - have tried taking battery out for 5 mins and no change.
My phone is usually set on loud, but at least once a day it randomly stops playing my text message alert sound, and when I get a text, it starts vibrating endlessly and won't stop until I check the message. It's saying that my ringtones are invalid and won't play any of them. It also won't accept picture messages while it's in this mode. I can fix it by taking the battery out and putting it back in, but then I have to wait the 10 minutes it takes to turn back on, and this gets very annoying.
Just after the upatde performed, i turned on my cell and from this time when i turn on my phone it just run endlessly the sony ericsson animation. So i can't use my phone at all.
I received my iPhone 4s from my company at the beginning of April, so it's less than 2 months old. For the past 2 weeks it has been having problems searching and finding a wifi network. I will do the network reset, airplane mode shut off and on, wifi off and on, power off and on, everything and nothing works. It's little wheel just continues to spin and spin and no networks will pop up. I live in a townhome and there are many other wifi networks around that my computer will spot, but the iPhone sees nothing. Not at work, not out shopping, not anywhere.
I was taking a picture with my phone when the entire phone froze, then a few seconds later the screen went black. This struck me as odd, as I'm pretty sure I had charged it over night last night. It is a possibility that the battery went to 0% though. However, ever since the screen went black, I have not been able to do anything with it. When I plug it into a charger (and I've tried several), the LED light endlessly blinks red. I've tried every way possible to reset the phone (removing SIM card, pressing off button near SIM card, holding down power and either of the volume buttons). Tried connecting the phone to both a PC and Mac, but neither recognizes that a device is connected.
I'm having some trouble with the backlight of my N82. I've had the handset for just about 2yrs now and less than a month ago upgraded the software to V 35.0.002. After leaving the phone to charge overnight I woke up to my the sound of the alarm going off (as per usual). However, after disarming the alarm, the backlight started flashing. Not flashing at a set frequency, but an erratic flash. I restarted the phone and even removed the battery for a few minutes, but the problem persists. I thought it may be a hardware problem, but the flashing stops while there is an active window open (e.g. while having the "deleting messages" pop-up or "refreshing the music library"). Also once the power-saver feature kicks in the backlight obviously goes off so the flashing stops.
All Galaxy owners know how the Notification LED will cycle smoothly through the multiple shades of blue during the boot of the device. Is there a way, or an app, that changes the charging notification from a stale red light, to an animated color range? For instance, if I start charging my device, I think it'd be cool if the notification light cycled through colors, like when the device boots up, rather than have a stale red LED lit up.
put it on charge last night as i normally do, then when i looked at it after about an hour, it said: Cannot Charge Battery, Please use a Sony Ericsson Battery, I still had about 50% battery so i switched it on and it goes past the turn on / flight mode menu then theres just a white screen saying please insert correct sim. The red light is also flashing.
I bought a Nexus 5 about 15 days back. I am very happy with the phone - except for the fact that I face difficulty connecting to my Home Network in particular. My Windows Laptop, My wife's iPhone and iPAD connect to the same WIFI almost instantaneously. However, my Nexus 5 phone keeps saying "Obtaining IP Address" endlessly. At times, it says "Weak Signal - Cannot Reconnect" and gives up. However, all other mobile devices show that the signal strength is good. the phone does connect to the WiFi after sometime by itself.
I do not have this problem when I am at my office. It connects immediately to the WiFi in my office.
