I've read conflicting reports on whether the Xoom 2 can support usb host with the ability to mount, read and write usb drives out of the box using an adaptor cable or not. I was hoping for a definitive answer.Rooting etc. is not really a solution for him.

Jul 8, 2012Sometimes when I update an app and it tries to install, it says not enough space. This happened a lot before the 875 update, was fixed, and now is a problem again with the 902 update. My phone has 4 GB space free and yet this message still pops up. Most of the time if i just hit update on the app again, it will work, but its annoying when you need to re-download a 40 MB app.

Oct 11, 2011I own a two DroidX's and for the last 3 months I have been experiencing an issue with my hands free in car bluetooth(infiniti G37). This all started right after I updated to 2.3.3 Gingerbread. The GB update killed the bluetooth on my car. Apparently it has been happening to many Nissan owners. I never had an issue with FROYO why am I having an issue with GB?
Issue:
I pair the phone with my car. it pairs properly. the car picks up the phone and the phone picks up the car. The bluetooth connnects with no issues. While connected, I recieve a call the phone rings (sound comes out of the handset not the car speakers its supposed to ring through the speakers), the radio stops playing and the screen reads incoming call, but when I picking no audio comes out of the speakers. The phone says its connected, the car says its connected, but no audio is coming out of the speakers, audio is coming out of the handset only. It happened to both DRoidX's after the GB update.
Here's what I've done:
Contacted VZ wireless- they werent aware of the issue but plan to come up with a fix(that was three months ago and no fix available)
Reset the phone and it stays with 2.3.3 and still doesnt fix the issue. Tried a regular head set bluetooth(Jabra) and it works with the phone.I tried my wife's phone (Droid X with 2.2.2 Froyo), it worked on the car until recently(first week of Oct 2011) when the GB update was pushed.
I contacted Motorola and one rep says they have noted the issue and its being worked, another guy said he hasnt heard of the issue and that its probably my car, the third rep told me they are working the issue and to take my car to the dealer and have the security settings unlocked. I took my car to the infiniti dealer, they looked it over and said no issues with the car, the phone is the culprit.

I am not lying, i got to play around with it and everythingg it was awesomee..question is to you guys..what model is that? Because i am interested in it and looking for a slimmer moto phone.

Jul 28, 2012when I am using the qwerty keyboard (not touch screen) it is either not responding when I press a letter, or after several presses, when it does eventually respond, it displays a letter or character different from what I am pressing. Its basically to the point where my keyboard is useless. I have to hit the same key at least 5 times before it shows anything. It will sometimes skip letters that I'm typing and just display the next character. for example, I can be typing SLOWLY, hitting one at a time, spelling t-e-x-t and it will show up e-t, or something along those lines. Ill backspace to go back to the beginning to add in the missing letter and Ill hit T over and over and over till it eventually shows up, or some random character will show up.

Apr 24, 2012Me and my wife both have the MAXX. My wife has recently experienced a bug with the stock Keyboard where it will phase in on top of her screen with out the keys (No letters) for no reason. She noticed it a few weeks ago and because it only happened once or twice thought nothing of it. Sep 3, 2011Looked thru the archives and couldn't find this topic. My DROID X started locking up last night when I was doing an email. It's locked up several times today, too. I've been trying to see a pattern to it. Email or text messaging, it's when I hit one of the punctuation keys. Either the period, question, or exclamation mark, each time. I've not put any new apps on my phone since Wednesday. Anyone else have this happen? Suggestions on how to stop it or fix it? Only way I could get out of it was to power it off, but this last time, I had to pull the battery as it wouldn't even power off.

Nov 14, 2011I have two Droid Pros. Overall I'm relatively happy with the phone minus a couple nagging problems. I have noticed some of them being fixed with the two updates I've experienced.The single most annoything aspect of this phone, however, seems to have gone uncorrected, yet it's a simple fix. The fact that the keyboard is too close to the soft keys.When typing an email or text, it's not uncommon for my thumb or finger to accidentally it one of the soft keys (such as the home key). Obviously, at that point it immediately jumps to the home screen. Thankfully my message isn't lost. However, why not merely add a verifcation dialog if any of those keys are hit during a keyboard input operation? This seems like a very obvious and simple fix...and I know there are lots of compaints about this keyboard on Android forums, etc.

Apr 27, 2012When I slide my keyboard out, my screen instantly scrambles. It is a pitch or catch as to whether or not the screen corrects itself when the keyboard is then closed. If it does not correct itself, and turning the screen off does not resolve the scramble, I have to pop the battery.
