View 4 Replies View RelatedA .jpg picture was sent in a text message. I cannot figure out how to save the photo. There is no menu command that lets you save it. And I can't find the photo anywhere in my files on the phone. I connected the phone to my computer, and I still can't find the photo anywhere.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI often download large PowerPoint presentations or other office files from gmail and stock email app. By default they go to the download folder at /mnt/sdcard which is in fact not the sd card but internal memory. I would like these files to automatically download to the download folder on my sd card /mnt/external1/downloads. Is there some setting that would allow this?

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some reason my text didn't save when I first posted this, so I'll try again:
My issue is that Google Play Music seems to save all cached music to the internal memory of the phone, and not the external SD card. Android can see this external SD card fine, and in fact saves any photos to it, so there is an issue with Google Play Music's visitbility of the SD card.
with my HTC Desire S, Google Play Music cached to the external SD card no problem.
When I edit a photo using the stock tools I cannot save the changes. Message is "invalid characters in filename". Nothing I do changes this
View 10 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a meeting invite from someone as an .ics file attached to an email if I open the attachment and press save it is saved to the local phone calendar and not my Google calendar, which has been set to be the default calendar. There seems to be no option to allow it to save it to the Google calendar (or move it afterwards), other than not saving it on the phone but waiting until I have access to my (non-Moto) Android tablet which doesn't have a local calendar, just the Google calendar.
View 8 Replies View RelatedThe camera app will not keep settings after closing the app. I don't mean the settings that are in the settings menu (like resolution selection and volume key selection) but the settings like: Flash Mode, Camera Mode (HDR, etc.), Exposure Level. Everytime I close the app I have to reselect all of these settings.

View 15 Replies View RelatedDroid Razr 16, google speech app - when using speech app to dictate text mesage, and more than one sent to same person in short period of time (5-10 minutes), the first text message is resent rather than the second text message which has been dictated and appears in the confirmation/edit window. Verizon Wireless tech support was stumped, and no help in the online motorola tech support either.

View 3 Replies View RelatedRecently I have been unable to view my photos successfully on my laptop. It has been happening for several weeks now...When I transfer the photos to my laptop via USB (before you ask, I have tried as USB Mass Storage, PC MODE, and Windows Media Sync) and try opening them, I get the message 'Window Photo Viewer can't open this picture because the file appears to be damaged, corrupted, or is too large.' I just now figured out today how to get the Motocast application installed and running, and it synced up ~400 pictures from my phone to laptop.
However again, when I try viewing any of them on my laptop, I get the message. I have been emailing the photos from my phone, but for some reason that stopped working today also. I go to the photo gallery and do a multi select>Share>Email, and the draft is created. I see the photos attached, put in my email address, but the email never sends...it just pops up with an orange triangle next to the subject and says Send Action canceled. Not sure what all information is needed...software is updated, is a RAZR MAXX, my laptop is Windows 7. About 65 of the photos/videos appear to be in Internal Storage and the rest are on sD card.
Received text with pic and pic is not appearing. How can I get the pic?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Verizon Motorola Droid Razr. Does anyone know a good/best app for reading/scanning business cards?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have just 'upgraded' from my trusty DroidX to a Droid Razr Maxx HD (what a mouthful). The new device has a nice screen but (apart from the backside) the overall finish / design is nowhere near as elegant as the DroidX. Sigh.My question is this: on my old trusty DroidX the external SD card that came with the device was already pre-configured as the default location for all app data (I'm not talking about the app executables), the camera storage (/DCIM etc), music and my own files (text, excel, pdf etc). On the new Razr Maxx HD there is an internal 'SD Card' (how can an SD Card be 'internal'?!?) and this is the default location for all data files.
After some snooping around I found that the internal 'card' is at /mnt/sdcard and the external card is at /mnt/external1. How does Verizon/Motorola expect a consumer find out this or work with this information?Of course, I can go into camera settings to re-point the camera to store photos on the (real) external SD card. But the screen capture utility (power and volume down) still writes to the internal area - as does the Download capability (ie from email) - and as do all other apps for their 'data' files (remember, I'm not talking about the apps executable files here). Is there a simple way (for us non-rooted phones) to set the true external SD Card as the default destination for all data files? The current set-up is sooo frustrating. I can't just whip the SD card out of the phone and know all my data is in this one place.
I was putting in my micro sd card on my 3 week old razr when I noticed it broke the screen above the sd slot and now the whole screen is busted. A freakish issue but Verizon claims it is not covered under normal warranty until told by motorolo. Anyone else had or heard of this issue? I really wish it was covered under Motorola but don't know yet.
