View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy S5, I want to download and save pictures from my browser, or apps to my SD card, but no matter what I try, they always end up in the device storage. I'm not talking about the camera app, I mean from apps like Tumblr. I don't want to keep transfering my pictures to another folder. So how you you change the option to save and download pictures to the sd card instead of the device?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Bionic is connected to my Exchange Server @ my Firm. My Firm requires Device/Storage Encryption, which the Bionic supports just fine. Now that our phones/SD cards are encrypted when the phone is connected to a PC and the SD card mounted the pics are no longer readable because they are encrypted. Windows is unable to read them, if I email that pic from my phone to my gmail I can open it just fine. If I try to open it direct from the SD its a NO GO. I already ruled out that its my PC I tried 5 other including my personal PC at home...NO GO! So how to I access the pictures direct off the SD?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn Gingerbread and just put in a new SD Card and formatted/mounted. Set storage to SD Card and tried to save some pictures sent via SMS/text and am getting an "error saving attachment"I tired to change storage location to internal but that doesn't work either. The only thing that I can see that may be causing the problem is that the pictures were sent form a friend in Thailand and the file has Thai script characters in the filename. Is this a limitation of the phone/Android OS? Or am I missing a location pointing setting?
View 1 Replies View Relatedhave a Atrix 4 g phone when i take a picture it goes to my DCIM folder Is there away for it to be save on your SD card instead?
and that your doc file go to the internatal storage how can u save it to yours SD too ?
For some reason my text didn't save when I first posted this, so I'll try again:
My issue is that Google Play Music seems to save all cached music to the internal memory of the phone, and not the external SD card. Android can see this external SD card fine, and in fact saves any photos to it, so there is an issue with Google Play Music's visitbility of the SD card.
with my HTC Desire S, Google Play Music cached to the external SD card no problem.
In Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI cannot save attachments to the phone or to my external SD card, which is not encrypted. I have no Exchange 2010 security policies blocking attachments. ICS is not set to encrypt anything. I use NitroDesk TouchDown, which also has no saving restrictions or encryption set.I go through the process of Save, or Save All, and try to save, or create a new folder in which to save, and then click to save the file. I can see the new folder I created, but there is never a file saved. Rebooting does not make it show, nor does dismounting and remounting the SD card.Probably related to the above problem, if I have an email in TD with an attachment, for example a DOCX file, I can open it in Documents to Go, but if I do a Save As from there, it will not let me save it anywhere. If I use Docs to Go and create a new Word doc, I can save it anywhere I choose, so it is as though TD will not let me manipulate my attachments.

View 10 Replies View RelatedA .jpg picture was sent in a text message. I cannot figure out how to save the photo. There is no menu command that lets you save it. And I can't find the photo anywhere in my files on the phone. I connected the phone to my computer, and I still can't find the photo anywhere.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I get a meeting invite from someone as an .ics file attached to an email if I open the attachment and press save it is saved to the local phone calendar and not my Google calendar, which has been set to be the default calendar. There seems to be no option to allow it to save it to the Google calendar (or move it afterwards), other than not saving it on the phone but waiting until I have access to my (non-Moto) Android tablet which doesn't have a local calendar, just the Google calendar.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy son is in the Netherlands, trying to find a mobile carrier that will give him data access on his Droid 3. First he tried Vodafone NL, with the negative results I reported here: url...To summarize, Vodafone NL says there is a bug in the phone that they have reported to Motorola (with no response) that causes it to read the APN info on the SIM card incorrectly. Vodafone recommended that he try getting a SIM card from a major competitor such as KPN.
So that's what he's now done, with the following result: whenever APN settings are entered in the phone, they are forgotten 3 seconds later. So data remains unusable on the phone. This is a new phone that worked perfectly on CDMA and Verizon, and was purchased specificially because of its GSM capabilities in Europe.Note that with both carriers tried so far, voice and SMS ends up working fine. It's data that he can't get to work.A proposed solution to the Vodafone version of the problem was posted that involves rooting and tinkering with the files on the phone. That is not an option for us at the moment.
The camera app will not keep settings after closing the app. I don't mean the settings that are in the settings menu (like resolution selection and volume key selection) but the settings like: Flash Mode, Camera Mode (HDR, etc.), Exposure Level. Everytime I close the app I have to reselect all of these settings.
