I have a Samsung s5. I have all my options set so that my phone saves my pictures to an SD card, but when someone sends me a pic via text and I save it, it saves to my phone device and not the SD card. How do I get those pictures to save to the SD card as well??

I'm not talking about the camera app, I mean from apps like Tumblr. I don't want to keep transfering my pictures to another folder. View 3 Replies View RelatedIn Anna I could find pictures in file management in order to move/copy them to memory stick, but that seems to be not possible in Belle. Also the phone guide tells you can select where to save the pictures by going to Settings - Application settings - camera - Photo or Video. Unfortunately in my N8 Belle there is no possibility to select any folder for saving the pictures. So I can not find the new pictures anywhere to remove them from the phone without using computer.

The card cannot be read by the phone nor be mounted. When trying to mount the card the phone says mounting SD card then card is safe to remove. I connected it to my computer and it says card needs to be formatted when clicking on the drive letter where the card is place via an adapter. we tried to mount the card on 2 other phones with the same results. Any recovery software that I might use to get my pictures back?

Yesterday I bought a 16GB sd card and i inserted it into my phone samsung S5 and then I went to a party and I took some pictures which were automatically stored in sd card . when I came back to home I took out my SD card and reinserted it then my pictures were not visible in gallery . All of a sudden my phone won't take pictures anymore. Well, that's not true, it takes them fine, it just won't store them correctly. On the phone it will just show an icon of a broken picture and on the computer it complains the picture is corrupt. This problem came out of nowhere and I'm really confused. I did have over 500 pictures in the folder, they're gone now, but still the same problem.
Stranger is that if I move pictures to that folder that work in other folders, they'll show up at corrupted too.is this a familiar problem, anyone know what to do?
