Has anyone else had the pattern unlock delayed upon opening. I've been having it where i can swype to the right, unlock it and the pattern lock isn't there, but when i start to do something, it realizes that the pattern lock didn't work and it will re-lock?

On the old Droid, it turned OFF the scroll lock when pattern lock was activated. How can I disable the scroll lock while pattern lock is activated? It's rather annoying having two lock screens...
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter my last thread which pointed out I was just simply lookin in the wrong place I bet there is a pretty easy solution for this too, I just can't seem to find it.Currently when unlocking my phone, I have to do the slide to unlock, and then input my pattern to unlock. I want my phone so that when I only have to do the pattern.The security options on the phone allow for "None", "Pattern", "Password", and "Pin". It says nothing of the slide to unlock feature and I can not figure out how to turn the thing off.

Two weather applications show my location in NJ when I'm in NY, and while the two apps show different NJ towns, both are over one hundred miles from where I am. Weatherbug allowed me to turn off network location and use the phone's GPS, but it hasn't changed anything. At this location, I must use a network extender to get a signal, so that may be mucking up the location, but the weather app is off whether I'm here or somewhere else.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe Razr Maxx lets me operate lock screen controls like the drop-down notification bar and other things like BeyondPod control screen (with Previous, Play/Pause, and Next functions), but operating anything on the screen other than the lock does not prevent the screen from timing out and turning off. I don't know if the ability to operate anything other than the unlock function on the lock screen is a feature of the Razr or Android, but timing out while using other things that are available is annoying and doesn't make sense. Is this Motorola's bug or Android's?
Also, does Motorola development read issues on these forums or do we need to go through customer support for problems like this? I'm not sure which way is more likely to get through.
I have the Razr Maxx thru Verizon.I have a husband and wife setup as separate contacts but same last names.If I use voice and say "Linda" it brings up her contact. If I select it so her name shows it the contact field then send a text message, it ends up under her husbands conversation. It appears to have been sent to her husband.But I don't get replies.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo, for the past few days, when I wake up in the morning, I have found that the lower half of my screen is flashing. I use the AlarmDroid app and have done so since I got the device in February, so I didn't think that this would be the cause. It will flicker for a while, then eventually stop, so I can't just take it to erizon and show it to them. It only seems to do it first thing in the morning when I wake up (plugged into the charger). I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, but no change. The only thing I can think of is that a couple of weeks ago my phone would not restart, so I had to reset to factory defaults. This started after I did the factory reset.

I use an app called no lock so it's easy to turn off when I'm at home and don't need the security. When I have the locking turned off and turn the screen off and on it doesn't ask for the pattern like it shouldn't. But whenever I select something in the notification bar i have to enter the pattern. I have tried different lock screens but it does it for all but the slide i think.

I prefer that the only screen lock on my phone is the slider, but suddenly this option has gone away. When I hit the lock button, I expect that my phone's screen will go off and in order to turn it back on, I need to hit the lock button again and slide to unlock it. I do not want to enter a pattern, a pin, or a password. In order to get the slide lock to consistently show up after hitting the lock button, I need to add a pattern, pin or password. The slide lock will show up, but I also have to enter the pattern, pin or password after unlocking with the slide lock if the security lock timer setting has elapsed.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased the Moto Elite Sliver because my Plantronics Pro HD would drop its bluetooth every single time a call was answered or placed. I did a little research and found it may be related to a conflict with the 2.0 headset and 4.0 phone. Moto Sliver is BT 3.0 and was working great until this week. Now every single time a call is disconnected, the headset disconnects and reconnects. Reboots galore, problem still exists. Uninstall/reinstall Motospeak, problem still exists. Sometimes the bluetooth will not connect at all (reboot required). The Droid RAZR Maxx and the Elite Sliver are supposed to be state of the art MOTOROLA, I make a living with my phone and headset.
