Aug 9, 2012What is the normal boot time for the Driod 4? Mine takes about 1~2 minutes to boot before I can unlock my phone and start using it.

BB Curve 8520/8530 :: Boot Up Time 20 - 25 Mins / Is It Normal?
Mar 28, 2010I have the blackberry curve 8520 on tmobile and its been getting slow.I'll do a battery pull often. But then it takes forever to boot up. It took about 25 min to boot up But when I 1st got it, it took about 3-5 min to boot up.Can someone help me figure out how to fix this problem?

Sep 22, 2011i tried removing the battery and placing it back again...but when i do so the M logo appears and goes off and again appears and so on....i can only enter into the recovery by pressing down the - vol key and the bootloader by pressing down the + vol key..how do i reboot into normal mode?
in the recovery menu i can only see the following options:
reboot system now
apply sdcard:update.zip
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
i tried reboot system now but it wont work.....it jus shows the M logo which goes on and off every 5 seconds...
how do i perform a normal boot

Sep 8, 2012What is everyone elses boot up time? Mine is 7 minutes 10 seconds, from moto screen to lock screen
It went up a lot after the last update but seems even longer now, is there anything I can do about this, 7 minutes seems excessive to me.

Aug 24, 2011When I haven't used my phone for a while and I pick it up and take it out if standby mode the 3G icon as well as the antenna indicators are white and then after a few seconds turn blue again. I can get and use data fine it just switches colors.I haven't noticed this behavior until the last week or so.

Dec 1, 2011I picked up a standard dock for the Razr today and I noticed something odd about the volume. If I have my headphones plugged directly into the dock itself the volume is considerably lower and have to have the media volume all the way up. When I have the headphones plugged directly into the phone the sound levels are normal. Would really like to be able to just keep my headphones plugged into the back of the dock - how to increase the dock volume?

I've been "granted" a replacement, which is due to arrive Monday.Do the actively disable your phone when they do that?I am at a login screen, with 7:00 PM Thursday Jan 1 showing. A blue triangle next to the 1x symbol. ALso showed wireless net detected symbol. I cannot interact with the screen. But the sd card can mount in Windows. Also says No Service.Is this anything of interest to folks in troubleshooting DX issues? Or a clear indicator that they have disabled this phone? I have tried hard resetting this phone like 10 times now.

May 2, 2012Last night as I was driving home my phone cut itself off. The battery was very low and as a safety feature I assume, it cut itself off. When I got home I put the phone on my tv stand and put it on charge through a wall charger and let it charge overnight.I got up this morning and noticed my DVR was turned on. I picked up the remote and pressed the power button to cut it off. I instantly noticed my phone have to boot logo and then go off. I went over to unhook it from the charger. Now the phone wont boot.I have a Droid 4. You can't remove the battery. I have tried everything that I know to try to get it to boot or even turn on. I have tired 2 different types of wall chargers, my wife's car charger, a usb cable, and nothing makes a difference. I have also tried to hold the volume down and the power button at the same time. I don't know if my battery is shot but maybe it had something to do with my DVR remote. I upgraded to the Dish Network Hopper Service. I normally charge my phone at the same place every night.

I say random because they occur if it is the dock, on a table, idle or not idle, middle of a call, etc. I have not down loaded anything from the market in at least a week. Nov 6, 2015I recently got a S6 and copied my S5 onto it. I haven't switched yet as I enjoy my S5 because of the screen, replaceable battery and SD slot. So I'm only playing around with the S6 at home.
I didn't use it for a day after charging it full and was very surprised when it started beeping about the battery after only 33 hours.
I have a iPhone 6 that I use only at home for different things I need iOS for and I get at least 72 hours out of that one.
Does it sound like normal battery use? No SIM only WiFi.

Jul 7, 2012SO i was going to wipe my cache again, seeing if i have some knd of improvement. turned off the phone booted into the recovery splash page, selected recovery. And my phone just sits on the android with the red triangle then reboots.

Jun 12, 2012Greetings, my phone recently froze on me, and I couldn't even reboot by holding down the power button. Instead I opted to reboot via the Power Button + Volume Down method. This forced it to shut down, but upon rebooting, the phone is now in a loop. It shows the Droid at launch, then makes it to the red eye, but after sitting on the red eye a moment, it freezes, then restarts the cycle again.
Things I have tried:
Forcing another reboot via Power + Volume Down Going into the Boot Mode Selection to use Normal Power Up Going to BMS and trying Recovery (Wiped data/factory reset) Attempted to enter Safe Mode (Didn't seem to work, cycled again at eye) Fastboot Lastly, tried launching to Tools in BMS. Same as above.
At this point I am at a loss as to what to do. I would like to not have to send this out, and to fix it here, but is it comes to that, I guess I'll take it to Verizon and see about getting it shipped out, and getting a replacement.
Oh, also this is a stock phone, the only "modifications" I had was Go Launcher and Go Lockscreen. I was, when this happened, going to check my Google Reader app, and that is when it froze on me. (Never had it happen before this)

There are no smart action running that should cause the blue tooth to start up. If doesn't automatically start up on my razr, only on my wife's phone. Even when I turn off blue tooth before I shut down the phone, it still starts up on restarting the phone.

Dec 29, 2011I did a factory data reset on my phone through the settings menu. The phone rebooted, but will only cycle through the Droid boot up animation. I let it go for about twenty minutes. Nov 16, 2012I'm running into an odd issue, and I can't seem to find any fixes for it. For some reason, I can only update apps in the Play Store one at a time. For example, this morning I had 10 apps show needing updates. I tapped on "Update All". One app updated fine, then the next one went to "Downloading", but never showed a statusAfter over 30 minutes, it still just showed "Downloading". I tapped on "Stop", then "Update All" again, and one more app updated, then the same behavior of the next one just sitting on "Downloading" happened. I kep repeating this, and got all of the apps updated.This happens on 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi, both at work and at home. I've tried clearing all data/updates from the Play Store app, and completely removing and re-adding my Google account.
