In my gallery when I open up my photos, it includes hundred of snippet photos from various websites, e-mails, etc., and they all end up intermixed. How do I stop this from happening?
View 1 RepliesI just want to take an informal poll, as what happened to me is probably somewhat random and is certainly not repeatable. I had never needed to do a battery pull (owned one since launch day) on my D3 until about 3-4 days ago (frozen, not responding to anything, including the power button). Now since then It has happened twice more. 2 times it happened using Gtalk (video chat), and once playing angry birds.
View 6 Replies View RelatedAfter the upgrade to ICS (obviously my XOOM wrongly assumes its T-Mobile Germany) my picasa albums are no longer showing in the Gallery app.In Settings -> Accounts & sync -> <my Google account> the "Sync Picasa Web Albums" is missing (not just unchecked - not there). All sync options are checked.I tried deleting an readding my google account and a factory reset without succes. Picasa albums are still not there. My picasa albums are not public but showing fine on my Transformer Pad (also ICS 4.0.3).

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just started noticing that the images on any website look really crappy...as if with a really bad resolution...they dont look clear at all..the color on them seems to dark..as if cartoony.. =(
The pics on my memory card all look clear when i view them..even the ones i take with the camera..but everything i view online seems to be wrong..
Did i mess up its resolution?? Or are my web settings wrong?? I tried doing a battery pull and even taking the memory card out but nothing...what can be wrong.It bothers me to look at pics that way!!! They look like they have a watercolor affect on them...i cant put a pic up so im trying to explain myself very clearly here.
I never had a problem with previous phones. For email you can attach pictures from the RAZR with no problem, but on multiple websites on the browser, it does not work. For example try to upload a pic onto tineye.com with the RAZR and it has an error, but my droid 2 & samsung fascinate worked fine in the past.

However, less than half of my Gallery pictures made it over. Because the Gallery is a stock app and not in the marketplace it is not on the the above market transfer desktop application.I also have astro and estrong on my device.

But yesterday I experienced a new problem.When I clicked my Gallery I can't able to see anything.I thought all the images got deleted but after sometime I can view all the photos as usual. I thought it will work here after, but my guess failed.Still i'm facing the problem I can't able to view my photos.Why it is happening so ?. My firmware update is the latest (0.42).

I have solved part of the problem by putting an empty file named .nomedia in the root directory of offending apps that I can identify and then clearing the Gallery cache. However, there are still a large number of images of Flags of the World but I don't know which app is creating them.

I haven't installed any new apps, I presume an app update changed something. View 24 Replies View RelatedI downloaded two game apps (monster squad and i can't remember the other one now) and they were both saving a buttload of images to my gallery. These images were included in the app size or if they're duplicates or what I just don't want to be able to see them and I don't want them being downloaded (if they are) after app installation and using more data and space. In the photos app they were all just sitting there below all the photos I've taken and in the Gallery app they were all divided into one pic per album spanning back to almost a year before I actually owned this phone.
I've gone through settings all morning trying to find something relevant and I uninstalled both apps but the images remained. I had to use my computer to delete them all quickly otherwise it would have taken AGES to tick them all and delete via phone.
recently swapped to android from iPhone. Got a massive issue and I can't find out how to solve it. Every time I open the Formula 1 ( + others ) app, it saves EVERY photo within the app into my gallery, tried deleting the photos, but they come back the next time I open the app and it really annoys me. So much so I might go back to Apple.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the samsung s6 edge and I keep finding random black/blank images saved in my gallery. There are are usually about 10-20 each day. At first i thought it might be a security feature that takes a photo when someone attempts to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scan but i tested this and it didn't work. I'm not sure why this is happening and i cant find any other mentions on this issue online.

I made a folder called Media / My Pix // and Media / My Flix. I know On my HTC it read my folders and grouped then which was nice.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAm looking for any insight on how to clear thumbnails of pictures/videos from my gallery that have already been deleted off my phone. I have already tried powering off/on my phone, removing/replacing my battery and unmounting/remounting SD card. Have also tried going to Settings> Applications> Gallery and then clearing the data to see if it would reset the gallery but the thumbnails remain. Also went to the Gallery> All photos (and All videos)> Menu> Select Items and checked the photos and videos I wanted removed and then tried to delete them again but still the thumbnails remain.

It is smoother when zooming in on lower resolution photos but not so much on larger files. I just thought it was odd and a bit wonky to use.

Mostly because the Motorola software interface killed my computer.I should be able to just connect the phone and move things like I would from any external memory device, just copy and paste or move, etc.Specifically, I'd like to move my photos from the gallery to my computer (without emailing them to myself).I have Windows 7 and currenty when I connect the phone my PC can't find the driver, so the phone won't show up in My Computer, so I can't do anything.
