If I come across a picture on Twitter and press the three vertical dots and select save image, where is the image being saved to and how can I get to it? It's definitely not saving in the gallery.
View 4 RepliesMore recently, my droid turbo has been turning rainbow colors instead of black with the time when it's charging. If I press the lock button myself, the phone will lock and stay black with the time. If I unlock my phone and let it be, it'll turn to the rainbow colors. I have my phone on the turbo charger when this happens!

And when I say trouble, I mean they will not open. I have not been able to log into Twitter since the day GB was released. The website will load fine until I try to go to the https login page and then won't go any further. I was even having trouble with gmail earlier today.

I have solved part of the problem by putting an empty file named .nomedia in the root directory of offending apps that I can identify and then clearing the Gallery cache. However, there are still a large number of images of Flags of the World but I don't know which app is creating them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the S6 last week, and I've been using Firefox on it because I'm more familiar with the tabbing system it uses after using iPhones for 8 years. But when I try to save an image by long holding and clicking save image it just vanishes. I checked the gallery, Google photos, even went into My Files and checked images and downloads and checked Firefoxes downloads but it's as if it didn't save at all. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or where these images could possibly be going.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded two game apps (monster squad and i can't remember the other one now) and they were both saving a buttload of images to my gallery. These images were included in the app size or if they're duplicates or what I just don't want to be able to see them and I don't want them being downloaded (if they are) after app installation and using more data and space. In the photos app they were all just sitting there below all the photos I've taken and in the Gallery app they were all divided into one pic per album spanning back to almost a year before I actually owned this phone.
I've gone through settings all morning trying to find something relevant and I uninstalled both apps but the images remained. I had to use my computer to delete them all quickly otherwise it would have taken AGES to tick them all and delete via phone.
I have been sent some pics and images on text,how do i save then to gallery.

There doesn't seem to be any way to override this other than unlink the Twitter account, then I end up with duplicate contacts. I know this has been discussed before but I couldn't find it in search. Is there any way to override this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I press refresh from my Universal Inbox or from Twitter under Messages, I get an orange triangle with a message that states Unable to connect to Twitter. I can log in at twitter.com on my PC and the Seesmic app loads the tweets just fine. I tried deleting my account and reading it; even tried clearing caches as well as powering phone off & on - nothing has worked.

It's very annoying. I just opened my gallery and there were 29 photos from messenger that I had previously deleted from my phones memory.

I visited App World yesterday to download a few games, came out and thought I'd change my wallpaper picture on my phone. Went into 'picture library' and found just under 500 images that I never saved to my phone! Scrolling through them I recognised a few from the games I viewed and downloaded from App World. I deleted them all (took me near on an hour) went on there again today and a few are back again! It seems my phone is automatically saving images. How do I stop this happening? Is it some kind of setting I have to change?

About a week ago the sync to my twitter account stopped working stating there was a username password problem. I double checked and I have the correct username and password. I changed the password online but that didn;t I've tried deleting the account from "my accounts" and it keeps telling me that the username / password are incorrect? Any workaround?

On the Bionic which was very similar, we had the option of selection "PUSH" or we could fetch the data for those feeds at different time frames. I just took a ton of awesome pictures at an art festival, got home excited the check out how good they were, and ALL but 2 are gone. Never saved. I have no idea why, I didn't close out the camera app too fast, each photo moved down to the bottom left as a thumb before I took another, or closed the app. Any idea what's going on? Any way to recover these great pics? This is really a pain as I have also lost great concert videos as well.

I get a phone call or make a call then go to the recent list and go through all the steps to save new contact, including "SAVE" as the last step and the next day it is not there. It is still in the recent calls list but without a name. It happened last week and I was sure I did it right but this week it happened again and I was thinking about last week so I know I "SAVED" as the last step. Does it make a difference if I go "Back" or just go straight to "Home" when finished?

Every time i create a new contact, it comes up at the top as Google Contact and when i create the contact it gets saved to google account.If i delete the google contact, all the contacts gets deleted too. I just want to save my contacts to my phone memory and not on google.

For all the others I have tried thus far, I select the ringtone that I want, hit OK and it goes back to the default ringtone. This is strictly the Phone Contact list. I am not using any social networking apps at this time. I do use the Verizon Backup Assistant for my contacts, but that has never been an issue on any of my previous phones. This is the same contact list that was restored from my old phone to this one and the contacts have not changed.

View 11 Replies View RelatedI want to take full advantage of HD video camera on my Droid Turbo, and found an external lavalier lapel microphone (Audio Technica 3350iS, which comes with an adapter for "smartphones including iPhone and newer Android phones"). But even when I use the adapter, the video recorder will only use the phone's on board mic. How can I disable/mute the onboard mic? Scoured the interweb, and at one point there was a perfect app "Mute Mic", but the NSA or Google or Motorola decided it was too useful to live.

Any reminder or event added to the newer calendar showed up on the older one. I had hoped that with various updates, the old calendar would be removed. How can I get rid of the old calendar?

At minimum, I would like a shortcut to the sepecific data file. Example; I use a simple Microsoft word calendar template to do scheduling for the month. I email the file to myself and save it to the messaging folder. Everytime I need to check who is working, etc....I have to go through the "My Files" shortcut, messaging, then the file I need. Would like to just save the data file or a direct link to it on my homescreen very similar to (gulp) windows.
