BB 8520My blackberry has recently stopped saving images to the 'pictures' folder, instead they are only saved under Files > File Folders > Media Card > BlackBerry > Pictures. Have not been able to figure out how to get it back to having images automatically saved into the pictures folder.

I have solved part of the problem by putting an empty file named .nomedia in the root directory of offending apps that I can identify and then clearing the Gallery cache. However, there are still a large number of images of Flags of the World but I don't know which app is creating them.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the S6 last week, and I've been using Firefox on it because I'm more familiar with the tabbing system it uses after using iPhones for 8 years. But when I try to save an image by long holding and clicking save image it just vanishes. I checked the gallery, Google photos, even went into My Files and checked images and downloads and checked Firefoxes downloads but it's as if it didn't save at all. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or where these images could possibly be going.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI downloaded two game apps (monster squad and i can't remember the other one now) and they were both saving a buttload of images to my gallery. These images were included in the app size or if they're duplicates or what I just don't want to be able to see them and I don't want them being downloaded (if they are) after app installation and using more data and space. In the photos app they were all just sitting there below all the photos I've taken and in the Gallery app they were all divided into one pic per album spanning back to almost a year before I actually owned this phone.
I've gone through settings all morning trying to find something relevant and I uninstalled both apps but the images remained. I had to use my computer to delete them all quickly otherwise it would have taken AGES to tick them all and delete via phone.
I have been sent some pics and images on text,how do i save then to gallery.

It's very annoying. I just opened my gallery and there were 29 photos from messenger that I had previously deleted from my phones memory.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a new BB 9900 Bold Touch and am slowly getting my way around it. I have all my pictures on in my picture library. I visited App World yesterday to download a few games, came out and thought I'd change my wallpaper picture on my phone. Went into 'picture library' and found just under 500 images that I never saved to my phone! Scrolling through them I recognised a few from the games I viewed and downloaded from App World. I deleted them all (took me near on an hour) went on there again today and a few are back again! It seems my phone is automatically saving images. How do I stop this happening? Is it some kind of setting I have to change?

Now I either have to take the battery out in order to see them or I click on Pictures - Menu - Explore - Device Memory - home -user - pictures - and there they all are, but I can only view one picture at a time.

I used to only have to enter my password for email ,banking and other sites like these because my user name was always saved but now when i click on "keep me logged in" nothing happens and i have to enter all my info for every site i'm on now every time i go on them, very annoying.

It used to be proper, everything working but recently whenevr i take a picture it saves it, but its nowhere to be found in the phone or the memory card. I have the primary storage set to memory card. normally in all nokia phones this method works without any prob.
I've had my blackberry curve 8530 through Sprint since last August and have always been able to text pictures/images. Since May, this is no longer an option and it's extremely annoying and frustrating! I don't want to MMS pictures and have my contacts get a message saying my sprint account has sent them a picture - that's RIDICULOUS! Have I altered the setting somehow? When I go to "view pictures", click on a photo, click the blackberry button, select "send/share" - I get the following options: send as email, send to facebook, send as mms, send to blackberry messenger contact. SMS used to be an option!

When she takes photos and saves them, they do not show up there. We both have the same store pictures and folder settings. Interestingly, I pulled her battery yesterday and all the photos started showing up again. But, today she is having problems saving pictures and seeing them in the media folder.

View 2 Replies View RelatedToday I made some pictures with my Phone (Lumia 1520, WP8.1, Lumia Denim) using Lumia Camera 5.0. I wanted to view them afterwards and they didn't show up in the photo album. When I went to the Lumia Camera app and then to Album, they were showing but in the top left corner it said "processing" (not sure if this is correct, it was "verwerken" in Dutch). Short: the app got stuck in saving the pictures. They also did not show up in the folder when I connected it to my pc.
I tried to look up on the internet to find a solution but couldn't find one. I did a soft reset on my phone and then these pictures were all gone... But not the .TMP, .TNL, . THM-files. (which are only used for Living Images I believe). After the soft reset the app works fine again and saves the pictures like normal.
When I try and save pictures from my email, they don't save and the app force closes. Any size picture, from any recipient.I'm using the default mail app, and my email is a pop email.I've tried clearing the cache of the app; but to no avail.

Haven't updated it before because I've never seen a reason to but when the pictures I took with the phone wouldn't work-meaning they couldn't be displayed in the gallery, this triangular shape with a broken landscape image would appear instead- I updated the phone twice, the second time erased all data. To my dissappiontment I still cannot view my pictures, and I cannot download files that have been sent to me via the app Whatsapp.

If i send an image to a contact who still have an old model (es BB 8300) with the old software, on my phone is displayed "file sent" straight, without any wait. Instead if i send an image to someone who has a new software, i have to choose the size of the image, and wait for his acceptance. And i also saw that if a contact doesn't accept the file immediately, after some time (really i cannot say how many time), there is a kind of time out of the sending (displayed on his phone)...how is it possible (on my phone was always displayed "waiting for acceptance")? How can i cancel this option?
2: with the old software if someone didn't read a message, a clock appeared on the face of the contact, and then i usually set the advice, to know when he read the message thanks to the sound. With the new software instead, i saw you can just set the advice only if the contact is Unavailable.
