So if I open messenger, or send pictures through it, etc., all the pictures I have been sent/have sent are in my phone gallery again. Is there any way I can stop this? It's very annoying. I just opened my gallery and there were 29 photos from messenger that I had previously deleted from my phones memory.

View 8 Replies View RelatedAfter activating my Ultra Power Saving mode, I was able to deactivate, however my phone then went into a similar power saving mode, grey scale screen, no apps and no option to exit the mode available on any accessible parts of the settings. Is this a bug? or have I activated a mode I didn't intend to?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got the S6 last week, and I've been using Firefox on it because I'm more familiar with the tabbing system it uses after using iPhones for 8 years. But when I try to save an image by long holding and clicking save image it just vanishes. I checked the gallery, Google photos, even went into My Files and checked images and downloads and checked Firefoxes downloads but it's as if it didn't save at all. So I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong or where these images could possibly be going.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI downloaded two game apps (monster squad and i can't remember the other one now) and they were both saving a buttload of images to my gallery. These images were included in the app size or if they're duplicates or what I just don't want to be able to see them and I don't want them being downloaded (if they are) after app installation and using more data and space. In the photos app they were all just sitting there below all the photos I've taken and in the Gallery app they were all divided into one pic per album spanning back to almost a year before I actually owned this phone.
I've gone through settings all morning trying to find something relevant and I uninstalled both apps but the images remained. I had to use my computer to delete them all quickly otherwise it would have taken AGES to tick them all and delete via phone.
I am having a issue with my S6 Edge. Tried to look for a solution but came out empty. When I receive an MMS and save the image, my samsung always names the file imagejpeg_2.jpg. Because of this I have to rename every single picture a receive as an MMS otherwise it will overwrite the picture. Is there any way I can set this option to use sequential numbers like on my other phones?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've always hated Messenger's "Chat Heads" thing, and disable it as soon as possible. I just upgraded to a Galaxy S6 edge+ though, and once I disabled Chat Heads, I started getting these irritating notification windows. They show up nomatter what I'm doing, even if it's a game or something that takes up the whole screen. I can't find any way to get rid of them short of disabling notifications for the app entirely, which I don't want to do... I want to be notified of new messages with a chime/vibration and with an icon in the top status bar, I just don't want this window appearing all over whatever I'm doing! At first i thought it might be a security feature that takes a photo when someone attempts to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scan but i tested this and it didn't work. I'm not sure why this is happening and i cant find any other mentions on this issue online.

View 4 Replies View Relatedmy battery was on 5% so I turned on ultra power saving mode. my battery eventually died, then when I plugged my phone back into the charger it wont let me turn power saving off. my drop down list isn't available and a lot of my setting are missing. ive tried restarting the phone and fully rebooting but nothing works and I cant turn the bloody thing off.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI cannot get my phone out of power mode. It is turned off, but auto brightness goes lowest possible still. No lights on buttons, no haptic feedback, no sounds (hate them, but turn on to see).
It's not hardware as the haptic buttons light and vibrate on boot... Just nothing after boot up. Haven't done anything but let my phone hit 10% battery before charging.

I have solved part of the problem by putting an empty file named .nomedia in the root directory of offending apps that I can identify and then clearing the Gallery cache. However, there are still a large number of images of Flags of the World but I don't know which app is creating them.

I visited App World yesterday to download a few games, came out and thought I'd change my wallpaper picture on my phone. Went into 'picture library' and found just under 500 images that I never saved to my phone! Scrolling through them I recognised a few from the games I viewed and downloaded from App World. I deleted them all (took me near on an hour) went on there again today and a few are back again! It seems my phone is automatically saving images. How do I stop this happening? Is it some kind of setting I have to change?

To be more specific, when I search images on google i only get black results, with the image dimensions loading in. I can see whether an image is square, a rectangle or whatever but the image is always completely white or black. This also goes for capcha's used on websites and other images that load in for example pop ups.
I have 5mbs Internet one of the fastest abonnoments I can get. What is up with my phone? how do i get images to load again?
1: when i send some images or files, i always have to wait that the receiver accept the file... how can we change this option... and go back with the old style? I understood that this is a "problem" of the new version of BB messenger.
If i send an image to a contact who still have an old model (es BB 8300) with the old software, on my phone is displayed "file sent" straight, without any wait. Instead if i send an image to someone who has a new software, i have to choose the size of the image, and wait for his acceptance. And i also saw that if a contact doesn't accept the file immediately, after some time (really i cannot say how many time), there is a kind of time out of the sending (displayed on his phone)...how is it possible (on my phone was always displayed "waiting for acceptance")? How can i cancel this option?
2: with the old software if someone didn't read a message, a clock appeared on the face of the contact, and then i usually set the advice, to know when he read the message thanks to the sound. With the new software instead, i saw you can just set the advice only if the contact is Unavailable.
Every time I save a bookmark, there is a system message that says:
Webpage added to Bookmarks > [My Phone]
Then when I click the Bookmarks icon at bottom of page, the Bookmarks screen comes up under Bookmarks > Samsung account and there are no bookmarks listed.

It is completely seated in the phone, I have formatted the card, yet any pictures I take are saving to my phone instead of onto the new card? Why is this, and how can I correct this?

It is in Ultra Power Saving mode. I have tried Android Device Manager...the message I entered shows on the screen, but the temporary password I set does not work. Almost feels like the screen I'm entering that password on is the wrong screen, and I'm limited by the power saving features.
Not sure what else to try; Samsung's Locate my Phone doesn't seem useful.
I managed to lock myself out of my Samsung galaxy s5, and now my phone is now asking for an alternative password (which I don't remember setting).
I tried going onto android/google device manager but the phone seems to have glitched from what I believe is because I put it in ultra power saving mode.
it's possible to disable ultra power saving mode while the phone is still locked.
p.s. I also rooted my phone before I became locked out of it.
My samsung s6 edges gets too hot. Is it natural that samsung s6 edges cpu temperature Can be high as 57c to 75c? I was about to sell my phone. Now im not sure.
Cooler master software says phones temperature is about 38 c.
Whatsapp Messenger does not work on E (Edge ) or H (HSPA) on Lumia 710. Read in the previous post saying to report it to the wassapp grp. But the messenger works properly on a SAMSUNG OMNIA W ( a WP7.5 Device )on E (Edge) . This Problem is only with LUMIA .
