Since lollipop update any images I save from google go directly to my download folder.. Why? Any other images I save from. Twitter or Facebook or chat save into my gallery.. Wallpapers I save from google when I open them in download folder it won't let me set as wallpaper, is their any way around this or do I need to stop using chrome..

I've tried going into accounts and sync with facebook but that just brings all my fb friends into my contacts list. i do not want this.I just want my current contacts to be linked to fb and not export my entire fb list onto my phone.
View 24 Replies View RelatedI have the samsung s6 edge and I keep finding random black/blank images saved in my gallery. There are are usually about 10-20 each day. At first i thought it might be a security feature that takes a photo when someone attempts to unlock the phone using the fingerprint scan but i tested this and it didn't work. I'm not sure why this is happening and i cant find any other mentions on this issue online.

It's very annoying. I just opened my gallery and there were 29 photos from messenger that I had previously deleted from my phones memory.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got a S6 Edge. In the app drawer there are four folders (Google, Verizon, Samsung, Tools and Amazon) with apps in them. I would like to delete one of those folders and put the apps individually into the app drawer. It won't let me do this. I can move apps from the app drawer to the home pages but not the other way around. Is there a way to do this?

I have a galaxy s6 edge. A weird thing is happening to my email. i would like to use conversation mode to display my messages. Initially all good. But when I press on the sent folder (to see the messages I sent), the Inbox goes crazy.
It displays all my sent messages in my inbox! Not just the ones from within a conversation, but all my sent messages... This is extremely strange. did not have that problem with my Samsung Alpha... I am at lost to understand Probably some simple setting I am missing?
I am unable to download or even check for my s6 edges's software update. Every time I try manually it says ''Unable to download software update a network or server update occurred" It says last checked on 5/10/15. Two sprint updates have been released since then .. and i am still unable to download.

I transferred all my music to Google Music and works great from my laptop. The problem is when I try to listen to my music on Google Music from my phone. It only allows me to listen to all of it if I am on wifi. But if I enable the "downloaded only" option only a few of them downloaded. The other ones are grayed out and can't play them unless I am connected to wifi. I have already spent several days trying to make this work! - Yes! I am logged in with the same google account on my laptop and phone.

View 8 Replies View RelatedSo, I accidentally renamed the folder on my phone (thinking it was on the desktop folder I just copied over) and windows explorer crashed in the process. Now when I go to galleries on my phone, there are error signs on some of the images. When I try and go back to the DCIM folder, the folder I renamed (as well as the 100Media folder where it stored all my pictures) is gone. Is there any way to get it back?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhat I finding is happening is that images (captured with the camera in the DCIM folder) and MP3s are being removed and placed into the LOST.DIR folder of the SD Card (internal memory isn't a problem). For example, the most recent occurrence was where by I copied on 4GB of music onto the phone and then a short time later after disconnecting the USB cable, I found that quite a number (2.7GB) of the files disappeared into the LOST.DIR folder.
I verified that the files were the orignal MP3's by changing the extension of the files to .mp3 and was able to play the file. Other times I've taken a photo with the camera and saved the JPG on the SD card, a few days later the file disappeared. The problem has occurred on Android version 2.3.5 and even now after updating to 2.3.6. I don't have any 3rd party music or photo apps. The SD Card is a 32GB Kingston class 10 card which I formatted in the phone before copying any data to it.
My E72 will not save sent messages. To quote: "Yr last 20 messages sent are automatically saved in the Sent folder". They ain't. "To change the number of saved messages, open Messaging > Options > Settings > Other". There is no Other option in Settings. Currently on software 054.005.217.11, but this was a problem before the update.
