May 28, 2015So aside from my phone usually showing the ! next to the signal bars, I can't even get internet while I'm on LTE.
My N6 displays one or two bars of LTE but cannot load pages. Its like the page just hangs with the loading progress bar stuck. Also, when I try to do a speed test, I get 0 Mb/s and the same with KB/s.
Its been like this on both N6's I've owned. I've looked at all the settings and only a reboot fixes. Its so frustrating having all these issues.

Jul 17, 2015I have Nexus 6 with latest Lollipop (5.1.1) running.I have tried many email clients (Gmail, Nine, Blue, Aqua, etc. and found no way to insert photos inline into an email. Only as an attachment.I would love to be proven wrong here, because I want this to work, but the fact that you can't do this is INSANE. iPhone? Easy to do... Long press, "Insert Photo", pick the photo (or take a photo). Done.
Android? Nope, can't do it. Can't even copy a photo into the clipboard from Photos, or any other photo viewer. Best you can do is sometimes copy an image from a webpage and past it inline using Nine Exchange client.This is the type of thing that keeps Android always second best, never quite able to be equal with iOS for usability.

and leave the bootloader and radio alone, it should put me back to near stock erasing everything so its like from factory state? TWRP doesnt touch some partition even when formatting
Google Nexus 5 :: Webpages Slow To Load?
May 5, 2014For the first few months everything was fine. Now a 30+ times a day pages load very slow or get stuck and I have to go to settings and turn off data then turn back on or turn phone off and back on. I've replaced my phone twice and sim card twice and its still doing it. I have unlimited data through T Mobile so that shouldn't be the problem.

My Photos application is having problem. Whenever i take a photo with the camera (front or back), pictures are clear in this application when previewed.
But when i take a screenshot in the phone or import a image in the phone, then preview those images or screenshots in the Photos application, it is not clear.
Also, I tried clicking the "settings" button on the top right in the Photos application, nothing is appearing.

Aug 4, 2014I have recently switched from iPhone 5 to Nexus 5 and have the following issue:
When I open the dialer (Phone part of the phone) it takes several seconds to minutes to populate the contacts in the speed dialer ... when I try and just type in a name it pulls from Google search and not my contacts.
Then when it does finally load, I call a friend who IS IN MY CONTACT's but when I dial the number it lists the number as an old business that used to have that number years ago.
I have the same issue when I try and open "People" apps too ... takes almost a full 1-2 minutes to load (I only have 438 contacts).
I know a minute is now long but when you want to make a phone call waiting 60 seconds it crap.

Apr 13, 2015So I purchased a new nexus 6 a couple months back.. every so often pictures that other people have taken with their camera are showing up in my photos. I thought it might be a Bluetooth thing since I just got a pebble watch, but yesterday I received a picture that was taken at a local park a few miles away. I thought it was maybe a room mate messing with me, but they are just a freaked out by it as I am. It is very disconcerting to know that I am receiving other peoples photos that they have taken with their camera. Are other people getting mine? I can not find anything on the internet that would constitute receiving others camera pictures. I thought it might be an app, but then local people playing disc golf-- their pictures were coming on to my phone.. It has happened a handful of times.. maybe 10 pictures total. I am going to call some sort of customer service tomorrow.

Oct 29, 2015I have flashed various version 5 stock firmware's and the latest 6.0 using nexus tool kit, as well as specifically flashing only stock recovery using the tool kit and I cannot load into the stock recovery. I've spent hours looking for information on manually flashing the stock recovery without the tool kit but have found the instructions very vauge. Any information on flashing manually only the recovery would be very useful or information on why I may be having this issue.
I know every time i flash a rom it only shows about half of my internal storage. I have a 32gb version. So I end up having to go into a recovery "temp flashed" using the tool kit in order to clear some information and then i get my 32gb's back.
I"m wondering if the space being auto allocated or partitioned is interfering with the flash of the recovery..

Oct 7, 2015I can't seem to get a working recovery after flashing stock images with and without TWRP 2.8.7.1.
I followed these steps to upgrade to Android 6.0 after verifying the md5 checksum of my download:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader-hammerhead....img [it looks the same as before, but I did it anyway]
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash radio radio-hammerhead....img
reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img
I have also tried with and without flashing cache
fastboot reboot
Then I go back into the bootloader and try to access recovery, but I only get the dead android with the red triangle.
I'm having the same problem with my Nexus 7 (2013).

Apr 27, 2014It appears that the Photos app (not the Gallery app) doesn't share to Facebook properly. I select a photo (or photos) and hit the share button, select Facebook. It thinks about it for a few seconds, then the Facebook post screen appears but with no photos attached.
If i do it from the Gallery app then everything works fine.
Google Nexus 5 :: CM 12.1 - Stuck In Bootloop And Freezes On TWRP Load Screen
Dec 12, 2015Last night, I left my phone on charge. It was working normally and the software was functional etc. However, once I woke up, the phone was constantly restarting itself, and wouldn't load past the boot animation. I tried to load up fastboot to enter the TWRP recovery, however, the phone froze on the load screen. I should also add that my custom boot animation was replaced by the CyanogenMod mascot.
I tried to use WugFresh's NRT to flash a factory image of Android 6, however, the command terminal indicated that each process had failed. This did not restore the phone to its original condition.
I should also point out that I have been running a CM 12.1 nightly, which has been very stable and I have been using this nightly, without major problems (bar the infrequent system UI crashes) for a couple of months. It is obviously rooted and I have a Nandroid backup, which I can't access for aforementioned reasons.

To be more specific, when I search images on google i only get black results, with the image dimensions loading in. Oct 13, 2014I downloaded two game apps (monster squad and i can't remember the other one now) and they were both saving a buttload of images to my gallery. These images were included in the app size or if they're duplicates or what I just don't want to be able to see them and I don't want them being downloaded (if they are) after app installation and using more data and space. In the photos app they were all just sitting there below all the photos I've taken and in the Gallery app they were all divided into one pic per album spanning back to almost a year before I actually owned this phone.
I've gone through settings all morning trying to find something relevant and I uninstalled both apps but the images remained. I had to use my computer to delete them all quickly otherwise it would have taken AGES to tick them all and delete via phone.

Sep 23, 2014recently swapped to android from iPhone. Got a massive issue and I can't find out how to solve it. Every time I open the Formula 1 ( + others ) app, it saves EVERY photo within the app into my gallery, tried deleting the photos, but they come back the next time I open the app and it really annoys me. So much so I might go back to Apple.
