It appears that the Photos app (not the Gallery app) doesn't share to Facebook properly. I select a photo (or photos) and hit the share button, select Facebook. It thinks about it for a few seconds, then the Facebook post screen appears but with no photos attached.
If i do it from the Gallery app then everything works fine.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I purchased a new nexus 6 a couple months back.. every so often pictures that other people have taken with their camera are showing up in my photos. I thought it might be a Bluetooth thing since I just got a pebble watch, but yesterday I received a picture that was taken at a local park a few miles away. I thought it was maybe a room mate messing with me, but they are just a freaked out by it as I am. It is very disconcerting to know that I am receiving other peoples photos that they have taken with their camera. Are other people getting mine? I can not find anything on the internet that would constitute receiving others camera pictures. I thought it might be an app, but then local people playing disc golf-- their pictures were coming on to my phone.. It has happened a handful of times.. maybe 10 pictures total. I am going to call some sort of customer service tomorrow.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Z3+ and I'm very happy with it, except for this issue. When I try share photos to Google+ they never actually get there. When I look at my google+ page there's just a refresh icon.
On my phone, I don't get a confirmation that the file has been successfully uploaded like I do when I share to Facebook.
I have no problems sharing photos to any other app/service, it's just Google+. I thought it might be some sort of weird photo format issue, but if I copy the photos to my laptop and upload from there then there are no issues.
From time to time my Nexus 5 won't let me share articles on Facebook; if I want to share a YouTube video tommy FB timeline the video won't show up on the posting...the same if I want to share a Huffington Post article (or any site from Chrome). I have a VZW LG G2 and it let's me share everything without a problem...

The only thing I miss a little bit is the easy way in which I could share my pics, movies etc to my Samsung TV (I have got a UE55ES8080 at home).
I tried to find apps like Samsung Allshare Play or something like it in the Playstore, but most of them are very badly rated and users recommend you to keep your fingers off them.
I definitely won't spend even more money on a Cromecast stick. Hey, I already got a TV that's supposed to be "Smart".

I know that Google Photos are stored in the cloud. Are gallery photos stored locally, and if so, does that decrease storage on the phone?

On all my previous Samsung Galaxy phones I could display my Picasa photos in the gallery, but I cannot work out how to do this with the S6 Edge (or even if it can be done)? I liked the feature because it meant I had access to all photos in 1 place... if this can be done on S6 Edge?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm sure many of you have heard that when you enter an incorrect pattern/PIN/password, eventually the phone asks for Google account credentials to unlock it. My Nexus 5 on 5.1.0 does not do this. Does yours? If my lock screen is set to PIN, I can enter as many incorrect attempts as I want, it never asks and never stops me. If I have a pattern set it will let me enter 10 incorrect attempts after which it simply stops me from trying for 30s, but it never asks for Google account credentials.

I've had a problem where my facebook contacts were no longer displaying pictures and when happenings had picture posting; they were not being displayed. I finally figured out today that it had to do with me setting up my Facebook account to use https for security logins. Once I've changed my facebook account to no longer use the "https" and deleted and readded my facebook account on my cliq all of the contacts displayed the pictures again. Prior to trying this, I had reset my phone a few times, deleted/readded the facebook account and this is the only thing that finally worked.
