I have a Defy+.....I am able to receive filed using blue tooth but not been able to figure out how to send files....after i pair my phone with another device and select whichever file i want 2 send i only get the options move delete etc....no "send via Bluetooth"..
I have a motorola defy mb525 android v.2.2.2 I use sandisk class 4 memory card with it but I face the following issues 1.can't receive files via bluetooth error says storage issue 2.some pictures become corrupt I have checked my memory card in other phones its working fine I also checked the memory card that I received with my phone even in that I can't receive files via bluetooth, don't Know the details of this momory card since nothing writen on it.
I have a querry. I am not able to switch on the bluetooth in my motorola defy.I have 2.2.2 froyo version of android. As I am not using much bluetooth I was unaware of its not working status.I dont have any idea since when bluetooth is not working in my phone.I probably guess it may have happened because i may have killed some application which resulted in deletion of bluetooth related core files. Also, In My Defy the bottom four buttons( Options, Home , Return , Search ), the return button shows no background light but the other 3 shows background light when it is under low light condition. Is it intentionally provided like this or this is a problem in my defy.
I'm having trouble with the phone disconnecting from the car once the phone has docked. The signal bars gradually fall away and the car asks if you want to re-connect. The manufacturers information (jaguar) states that the phone is compatible, but gives the version as 2.1. My phone is running 2.2.2, after updating a couple of months ago. My old Nokia 6300 connects every time and I can upload the contacts to the car's display.
I'm having problems sending photos via Bluetooth. The laptop and Motorola can connect, but I'am unable to send or receive a file. It did work with my previous phone. Also with my desktop computer (with bleutooth stick) I'm having the same problem. - Defy plus- Android-version: 2.3.5- System: 45.0.1250.MB526Do I have my settings wrong or does anyone have the same problem?
I have a email@example.com email account, I am able to receive emails fine but I can not send or reply any emails. What are the settings I need to have in the outgoing server for this to work. I have the port at 587 and I have the 'use secure connection' ticked. I'm also not sure what the 'use secure password (TLS)' & the 'authentication' is meant to be set at
I have android MB525 and i have a question need an answerhow to send a file to other phones via blue tooth,i can receive files only?is it must to use 3rd party application for sending files via bluetooth?
I received a new bluetooth for Christmas to go with my Defy with Motoblur (a canadian phone) and the Voice Dialler sucks plus the bluetooth instructions are just as bad.It say to refer to your phone's usual manual. So, I would like to know how I can make a call from my bluetooth handsfree using the phone.Based on an older phone I could add a voice tag to each contact and then use that on the bluetooth. This phone doesn't seem to have that option.(It all seems to work fine if I am dialling directly from the phone once the ringing starts. But this is all pointeless as far as I am concerned. How can you be handsfree when your hands are required?)
The phone is running on the Android version 1.5 since Motorola didn't come out with an update on my phone and getting a new one isn't an option.Maybe there is an app in the market place that might work. (I can't even use Google Play because the phone version was not updated)
I own a Mercedes 2008 E350 with ViseeO MB2 bluetooth adaptor. I can pair and connect my wife's Samsung Galaxy phone and use the Mercedes hands free system to make and receive phone calls. However my Defy pairs Ok but does not connect continuously. It will occasionally connect when I force it but it only stays connected for a few seconds. The Defy is running 2.2OS. The MB2 supplier in Australia and manufacturer in Taiwan both state that the MB2 has been previously tested with a Defy and works OK.
My phone has multiple resets ad the direction of Motorola, and has been in for a circuit board replacement. Now the screen still freezes and the reception is hopeless.I am sure this handset is a lemon. It is still under warranty, 11 months old.
setting up auto-fetching applies to all email accounts. I swear on my 2.1 Spice XT300, the auto-retrieval was by email address (and also the smallest interval between fetches was 5 minutes, not 15 like on the Defy). I have never used 2.1 on the Defy; mine was original 2.2.1.
I updated to Froyo via Motorola website but it hasn't worked. My phone still shows firmware 2.1.1. Tried to update again via Motorola website but it now tells me that there are no updates for my phone.....I presume that it somehow detects that my phone previously downloaded froyo update.
My Defy is denied application on the market with no reason that I understand. Some apps are not visible from the phone, and are said "non compatible" from the market website. Sometime the website talks of country restriction while they should not be.
I have had my defy now for a few months, and I have been pretty happy with it (babyproof smartphone!)Unfortunately, its becoming more and more unreliable, and am having to reboot it regularly. This weekend is the worst. Here are some of the things it is doing:
all apps keep freezing and crashing (no fancy apps, mostly use it for twitter, facebook etc).phone keeps freezing and being unresponsible on the home screen keep getting an 'emergency calls only' notification, which then clears straight away when i go into notifications.mms photos - both sent and received take up to 5 days to be visible. until then they are just flagged as 'downloading'. I'm pretty sure it shouldn't take 5 days to download a 27kb file. After rebooting, I did have a gmail widget require a forced close immediately. I was never using that widget anyway, and couldn't see it, so I uninstalled it. Now on rebooting I have to force close Google Services Framework. I have decided that looks reasonably important and useful and have declined to uninstall that so far.
I have a my Defy & XT and as of 9:22 am the weather widget hasn't udated and I've turned the phone off and on etc and then I deleted my location and tried to readd it and it said something like.. location information cannot be found (not sure off hand).. I don't know what to do but it won't let me add any loactions but apps from the market work.
I am trying to pair my SII to a motorola T325 speakerphone. It pairs fine but when it goes to download my phonebook it does not work. "Phonebook access request" shows up at the top of the phone screen but then nothing happens. I then attempted to put the speakerphone into manual mode and send the vCards over from the SII but when I attempt that it says ContactName.vcf not sent. I have reset the speakerphone to factory already. I have also tried deleting all pairings on the SII and re-pairing the speakerphone, nothing works. Speakerphone downloads phonebook from other phones fine. I need the contacts in this speakerphone so I know who I'm getting calls from at work.
I had a Samsung Galaxy s3 and when I paired it with my Honda Pilot, it automatically displayed song title, artist, and such when I listen to Pandora or Spotify via Bluetooth. I just upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy s5 and when I paired it with the Honda Pilot, the music will play but no information is displaying.
I have a Nokia N8 and have files I want to delete and files I want to send in the music category. I have a problem regarding the above sentence as I can't find a delete or a send button (via Bluetooth) in the music library, I understand that I can delete music off the phone in ovi store once connected to the PC but this is very inconvenient when I need memory.
