My phone automatically connects through Bluetooth to my 2012 Lexus and works just fine. However, contacts will not transfer. Is there a setting on the phone I need to change?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a 2012 Mazda. It has Bluetooth Built in. When I had my BlackBerry, I never had any trouble getting it paired. I just got my iPhone and when i try to get it to pair, it doesnt even show my car as an option. it stays on "Searching..." and cant locate my car.

I'm having major issues with WiFi after the kit Kat update. I've turned off WiFi optimization and my WiFi still automatically turns itself on even though I have WiFi off.

it keeps on showing SOS even after coming out until I go and manually find and select the network which is already in preffered network list.Why does not it automatically connect to a network which is already in preffered network list when its available.

I am not able to switch on the bluetooth in my motorola defy.I have 2.2.2 froyo version of android.As I am not using much bluetooth I was unaware of its not working status.I dont have any idea since when bluetooth is not working in my phone.I probably guess it may have happened because i may have killed some application which resulted in deletion of bluetooth related core files.Also, In My Defy the bottom four buttons( Options, Home , Return , Search ), the return button shows no background light but the other 3 shows background light when it is under low light condition. Is it intentionally provided like this or this is a problem in my defy.

The manufacturers information (jaguar) states that the phone is compatible, but gives the version as 2.1. My phone is running 2.2.2, after updating a couple of months ago. My old Nokia 6300 connects every time and I can upload the contacts to the car's display.

I received a new bluetooth for Christmas to go with my Defy with Motoblur (a canadian phone) and the Voice Dialler sucks plus the bluetooth instructions are just as bad.It say to refer to your phone's usual manual.So, I would like to know how I can make a call from my bluetooth handsfree using the phone.Based on an older phone I could add a voice tag to each contact and then use that on the bluetooth.This phone doesn't seem to have that option.(It all seems to work fine if I am dialling directly from the phone once the ringing starts.But this is all pointeless as far as I am concerned. How can you be handsfree when your hands are required?)
The phone is running on the Android version 1.5 since Motorola didn't come out with an update on my phone and getting a new one isn't an option.Maybe there is an app in the market place that might work. (I can't even use Google Play because the phone version was not updated)
I own a Mercedes 2008 E350 with ViseeO MB2 bluetooth adaptor. I can pair and connect my wife's Samsung Galaxy phone and use the Mercedes hands free system to make and receive phone calls. However my Defy pairs Ok but does not connect continuously. It will occasionally connect when I force it but it only stays connected for a few seconds. The Defy is running 2.2OS. The MB2 supplier in Australia and manufacturer in Taiwan both state that the MB2 has been previously tested with a Defy and works OK.

This makes it difficult to answer calls and I drop calls in the middle. The curve worked fine with my car so it's not the car.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid Pro and a 2011 GMC Sierra with Bluetooth. After about 4 days of using the bluetooth feature constantly, I was in the middle of a call and heard a very loud echo/feedback sound. I looked down and the green bar on my "bluetooth" button was out. This now happens frequently and the only way to get it to stop (temporarily) is to power down and remove the battery for a brief period of time. When this does happen, I can tap the button again and it will usually go back to bluetooth, but only for a minute or two, then it turns off again. I really need a remedy.

If I connect my 3GS to the car then it works perfectly - sound comes through the speakers and the microphone in the car is active.
What did she do to turn this off and how can we turn it back on again?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI keep finding my phone will do random things in my pocket when out and its really frustrating i had tried changing lots of settings todo with the screen as i thought it was when i got a notification it would wake the phone and my leg would simulate screen presses.
That isnt the case however. I have narrowd it down to when i get in my car and the bluetooth connects to my car radio it makes the touch screen active, the screen does not light up but if you touch it as it connects it will wake the phone.
