View 1 RepliesThis morning my phone said it needed to do an update. So I hit update. about a minute later the screen went black and the motorola symbol popped up in the middle...than in the upper left corner it says Failed to boot 2 starting RSD mode......It will not do anything. I have taken the battery out several times but nothing.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried to do the update from morphine website and when it supposedly finished it rebooted into a failed to boot screen and then turns off. So what do I do now can I fix it or get a new phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm completely stock. Never unlocked any bootloaders or flash anything that messed with the system. I used the Motorola Update software to check for new update and install it. After a reboot, my phone displays the following message "Failed to boot 4" and I can't get the phone to get out of it. The only way I can turn the phone off is with a battery pull. I was on a stock 1.8.3 before this mess. What can I do? Is this a bug in the OTA update?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently got a Motorola Atrix from a friend who used it for 3 weeks and then upgraded to another phone.
When I got it, after doing a factory reset thing, things were fine. But a few hours later after starting up I started to get this message:
svf:105:1:2
Failed to boot 0x1000
Entering NVFlash Recovery Mode
It appears for 2 seconds and then it's gone. I can't seem to do a hard reset; holding any of the volume buttons with the power button to turn it on just gives me this same message.
First let me say that I have done a search and I have read the threads that are the exact same issue as mine. The difference is that I have no idea what to actually do about my phone. Background - when gingerbread pushed to my phone something went wrong (although it was plugged in at the time) and basically my phone reboot itself in the middle of the install. The phone no longer works. When this happened (a few months ago) I had to have a phone immediately as I was heading out of town for a few days and had to have a phone to be able to get in touch with my pregnant wife if need be.Needless to say this is now my "backup" phone that is 10x better than the current phone I am using and I would really like to get it fixed somehow.
I have tried RSD lite. I have tried the motorola software update program. I have tried using the factory cable that was sent in the box. I cannot get the phone to recognize via usb so I cannot move a software to the micro usb card.I cannot access any of the options for the "no os detected" screen that appears. Most of them say that the battery is too low to flash.
this is begining whit firmware update gingerbreadmy atrix show in the display svf :105.1:2 failed to boot 0x1000thats al in the display that i see

Am I completely screwed now? I don't understand how I can't even force-reset the phone. This is really upsetting and I don't know what to do.

So yesterday my phone's fingerprint scanner began acting up. It would think I was swiping my finger when, in reality, I wasn't and saying It couldn't identify my finger. After a couple restarts, the fingerprint scanner doesn't work at all.I decided to go the route of a factory reset through the android recovery mode and wiped the data. After this, I select reboot now and all I get is a black screen with the green status LED stuck on.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just got my phone three days ago. It is rooted. I attempted downloading an app called beats audio installer. Everything looked like it installed correctly, but upon rebooting, my phone remains stuck on the motorola logo. I have tried forcing it to power off, but upon turning it back on, it stays stuck on the m logo. I have tried recovery mode, even wiped all my data off hoping to remove the corrupt file, (I have everything backed up). Nothing. I've already gone through the menus, to fastboot it, reboot it, or reset it. Anything I select results in the black screen with the motorola logo.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI like being able to connect my phone to my laptop and the Motohelper system is a bit clunky but gets the job done. But it isn't a daily thing that I do. It isn't even monthly. It's just occasional. So how can I stop the Motohelper software from loading every time I start my computer? Is there a way to just start it when I need it? Turn it off when I don't need it?

I restored the phone a couple times but I didn't help at all, i even went to AT&T but the guys couldn't help me much but they tried to. As I was searching I found the--Removed-- It gave a failed error and when trying to reboot, it gives and 0x1000 error.

View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is my second Atrix. It is failing to turn on its' Bluetooth radio. I go to Settings > Wireless & Networks > Bluetooth (and Bluetooth Settings) and try to turn Bluetooth on. It indicates that it's turning on Bluetooth and then it fails, returning to the "Turn on bluetooth" message. I've rebooted, done a battery pull, tried to turn it on from Airplane mode...everything short of a factory reset (because I really really really don't want to set this thing up from scratch again!).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI keep getting an error message that the ICS software update has failed. The download process will finish, it will stop a little into the installation, restarts the phone and says the update failed. Is anyone else having this problem or know of any way that I can get the update to install?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have the Bell Mobility Atrix. For the most part it works fine. However, lately, this is what's going on. First I should mention that I have the Android Twitter app (from Twitter) installed on the phone and I can log in to Twitter, send/receive messages just fine with that. If, however, I go to Accounts > Add Account, then select Twitter in the Motoblur section (where all the other social media icons also appear), enter my credentials, I get a message stating Success!, Then, if I go to Messaging from the Home Screen, I see the Twitter icon, however it has a yellow exclamation point through it, and the message "Failed Connection".
So I cannot see/read/send messages to/from my Twitter inbox using the Universal Inbox (again, Twitter works just fine through the regular Android Twitter app). I have done all the normal troubleshooting, i.e. removed battery & SIM card, replaced them. Uninstalled and removed my accounts, rebooted phone. Reinstalled app and also re-added my Motoblur Twitter account, and each time it says "Failed Connection". I don't see online where I can configure my Universal Inbox accounts, only on the phone.
I have an Xperia X10 since July on Vodafone UK. It is (was) running the latest SE firmware, but is now 'bricked' - I learned this term while googl-ing for the problem, but all the mentions involve 'debranding' or installation of unofficial (unauthorised) firmware releases - and I haven't done ANY of that.
The story in detail:
1. In recent days I noticed some glitches in the performance of Android Market on the phone: some downloads were reported as 'unsuccessful' and had to be repeated. This happened both with new apps and with updates. On occasions a reboot was necessary for downloads to start happening normaly again.
2. Today (Sat 30-10) this went to extreme: NO download from the Market was possible at all, each time it stalled forever. As explanation, an error message started coming up: "The process com.google.process.gapps has stopped and needs to be force-closed". No rebooting would solve this. I cleaned several caches (after reading various forums about the error)
3. I decided to reinstall the firmware, hoping to fix the Market performance. Backed up all my data and connected to PC Companion. In the first phase it reported that I "already have the latest version", but I wasn't after an update, so I went on to Repair / Reinstall.
4. The download went smoothly and the installation started well, proceeding to near-the-end. THEN, PC Companion reported: "The installation was unsuccessful, try again". I tried - several times, and the result was the same. Decided to return to my existing installation and seek other ways to repair that 'com.google.,..' process.
5. On attempting to boot, I saw that dreaded YELLOW TRIANGLE with no explanation, and a dead phone not responding to any controls. Had to turn it off by removing thebattery..
6. Several re-installation attempts with both Companion and SEUS also failed, and I am stuck with a useless brick
I plugged my Motorola Razr into the USB to charge, and it is now stuck on the 'dual core technology' boot screen. The device was already powered on, but when I plugged it in, the screen went black and it started to turn on and paused here. I have tried holding the power button and plugging it in and unplugging it, but nothing happens?

I got home, turned the phone off and left it off for a couple of minutes. Turned it back on and it's been stuck on the black screen with the red motorola icon for about 8 minutes. Is there a force-shut down?
