The error msg 'SIM not allowed MM #6' (may be #3, can't remember off hand) appears occasionally on my screen. Phone usually locks up and I need to reset power to continue.
View 9 RepliesWhen up connect my Atrix to my computer via the USB cable, I get the message, "Do you want to scan and fix MB860?" as wells as "Do you want to scan and fix SD card?" This happens on a Windows Vista and on a Windows 7 computer. The problem is not that I do not disconnect properly from the computer, as I always click that "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the tray (isn't that what they call it?) down on the right of the Taskbar, and then click the proper choice before unplugging the cable. If I tell it I do want to scan and fix, there is never any problem found after the scanning.

It can still connect to the internet with wifi, but my carrier network doesn't work. The problem is no due to the carrier (I put my sim card in another mobile and it works!) An error message appears on the screen: "Phone not allowed MM6".I googled it and found that my IMEI http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Mobile_Equipment_Identity) was probably blocked. A device is usually blocked by the owner if it's stolen or lost... But I legally bought it on ebay!So what should I do, now? View 5 Replies View Relatedrapid recurrence of the "Disconnected Unplug your charger from the outlet to conserve energy" pop-up message on their Atrix homescreen? The last few days I've been getting this pop-up message quite often (every couple of seconds to sometimes a minute or so apart) while the phone is still plugged into the A/C wall charger. Occasionally it will remain on the screen for minutes at a time, and in fact one time I was able to catch a screenshot of it. The charge cycle is usually complete (90% to 100% indicated). Everything is stock - battery, wall charger, and non-rooted phone on 2.3.6. This is not a loose connection, as I've checked that. It seems to have started occurring around the time the Market was replaced with Google Play Store, and the subsequent update to 3.4.7 which fixed the App Drawer icon issue. Don't know why this would cause what I'm seeing, but just though I'd mention it.

If I try to forward an email with an attachment from my phone, the message sends but is hung up in the outbox and I receive message failed retry.The phone continues to resend(successfully) every ~3 minutes and continues to disply message failed to send notification in the notification bar.
There is no way to delete the message from outbox (i try and says can't be deleted while sending) or otherwise stop this retry function.I have now send 20+ large emails to 2 different people.The only way I have found to fix is to delete the account and setup again.

I have had the phone since it has come out and this has never happened before. I have wiped and restarted the phone twice and nothing has changed. I have attached pictures of the menu settings page and the toggle switch which just has the loading symbol and cant be switched on or off.

Set storage to SD Card and tried to save some pictures sent via SMS/text and am getting an "error saving attachment"I tired to change storage location to internal but that doesn't work either.The only thing that I can see that may be causing the problem is that the pictures were sent form a friend in Thailand and the file has Thai script characters in the filename.Is this a limitation of the phone/Android OS? I had no issues with this account until last week, when my Exchange server migrated.I tried adding the new server name, but that did not fix the problem. After showing this error my phone switch off. Its happened when I try to update my phone to gingerbread.
I wanted to do away from the security features (fingerprint swipe and PIN number) but I had to delete the Corporate Sync account before I could set the security to none. Then I went back to reinstall the Corporate Sync account but can't get the Exchange Serve to recognize my account info. Yes, I checked spelling and tried to reinstall dozens of times just to get "Error Logging to the account failed, please try again." I've checked and rechecked the data and I'm positive I've re-entered the account info correctly. And BTW - I'm not interested in purchasing Touchdown since I know my Atrix is capable of accessing my corporate exchange account.
