View 1 Replies View Relatedhave recently been having few issues with my phone, and noticed im still running the original firmware R1CB001.Installed SEUS, follows all intrustions, gets to where it has progress line for installing the firmware.the update starts but after about 30secs, i hear the sound from my pc as if ive just unplugged something from usb and then few seconds later as if something has been plugged back into usb, then the bar just jumps to the enter and says update complete.Turned phone on again, checks software version and still shows as being same as it originally was.Does anyone have any ideas on whats happening and any possible fix?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am trying to flash my C702 using the Update Service, however the update fails during the "Downloading" part, before the actual flashing begins. I have investigated this using wireshark and have discovered that the update program encounters a 404 file not found error. My internet connection is definitely working. Presumably the 404 error is why the update process fails. Is there any workaround I can use, or any chance that someone at Sony Ericsson could look into this matter?

View 3 Replies View Relateda couple of days ago I tried to do an update on my W995a via the SEUS program (latest version used, downloaded the day I did the update), It got to about 90% then stopped and stayed at 90% for about 2 - 4 minutes then it came up with Update Failed, I've retried the process a few times and all have failed, I've used the repair feature in the PC Suite program to try to fix the phone but it fails about about 90% as well, I had no issues or software glitches with the phone before attempting the Update. The phone now will not load the OS but instead just sits there with the keypad lights on. Is there a solution to this problem? As this is my main phone and the SEUS program has broken it.

I had been trying to update my Satio's software. It just could not update for me even after I press the call key at the 5th step for more than 10 mins! The top right hand corner bar never moves to "confirm" it just stays at "connect". Can anyone kindly help me? I really don't want to make a trip down to the Service Center as updating of software takes more than a week!

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen texting with the vivaz I have a problem closing a sentence with a word with nore than one option - home and good for example. On my old C902 I could select the word i wanted by toggling then by pressing the 1 key I would then toggle through the list of punctuation marks at the end of my desired word. On the Vivaz as soon as you hit the 1 key the word jumps back to the first optional word in the toggle list. The noly way I can find to avoid is to hit the arrow key then the 1key and toggle through again. This seems like a step backwards for me.Any ideas? Could SE take this on board for a future update? Particularly as the old phones worked.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've bought a SE c510 recently. Maybe a month ago. All was working fine until a couple of days ago, it started giving me error message. First, it will say Inactive Sim. Then, it will turn itself on, and give me this error message: "Insert Sim or View Demo Video first" It takes more than a couple of on/off remove battery cycles before it functions again. My Sim is definitely not inactive. Cause At times that I don't get this error, it works. I have also updated to the latest firmware as of 06/27/10. I still get the errors. Is there s aolution to this? I have been using SE Phones for a long time now and I don't usually have issues like this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a C510 Sony Ericsson Phone. I bought is about 7-8 months ago. Recenly it has started behaving a little weird. I couldn't figure out if it is a software problem or hardware problem. Some of the problems it is showing are:It is very slow. Actions take place after 5-10 seconds after pressing the keys. For example: To look for a name in PhoneBook, if I type 'R' after 5-10 seconds it will show names starting with 'R'. If I press the Dial button on some contact, the phone hangs (the screen also goes blank) until the other party picks up the phone.Sometimes the screen splits up in two identical sub-screens. Restarting the phone is the only options in this case.This is what I did to fix it:Formatted the memory card after backing up the essensital data (contacts and notes)When the above didn't work I did a Master Reset The phone got a little (very little) faster, But No significant improvement. This tells me that the problem is not software related. There is some problem in the hardware. Let me know what to do. today It showed a new problem: "While searching in the phone book If I have to look for a name say "Prashant", and to start with I press key '7' to type 'P', it types direclty the third letter on key '7' that is 'R'. And the name starting with 'R' show up. The same thing happened with every key (1 to 9). " I restarted the phone and it got back to normal. This is getting irritating. Tell me what can I do.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just received a m2 card from a friend who didn't need it anymore, but for some reason my phone is unable to detect it. My card reader is able to detect it, and i can access it through my phone while it's connected in file transfer mode. However, my phone says there is no memory card inserted, and my computer is unable to detect the card when the mobile is connected in phone mode. I've tried formatting it in both FAT and FAT32 with several different cluster sizes, but it makes no difference. Would appreciate some input!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using my Vivaz Pro on O2 for about 2 months now and I've been have an intermittent problem. The phone will suddenly not allow me to make calls, when I try to make a call it says "Emergency Calls Only" even though I have a good to full signal AND I can still receive calls and send and receive text messages. Also when this problem happens the power button no longer responds, so I am unable to lock or turn the phone off so I have to do a battery pull. Even after removing the battery and SIM and replacing it all the problem is still there. Then it will just work again at various times. This is very frustrating. I have tried contacting O2 but I just get pre- typed messages back which are NO HELP at all, they are obviously not understanding my problem and think it's a network issue or Im somewhere where I cannot get a signal.I was also disgusted that Sony Ericsson used the Nokia OS on their phone, I vowed to never buy a Nokia again after having 4 Nokias and having problems with them all. I go back to trusty Sony Ericsson only to find its got Nokia software Low and behold I'm having problems.
